Our wedding was at a vineyard in St. Helena in August 2008, and we hired Clayton Mitchell at Premier Productions to be our DJ. My wife and I live in NYC but Clay made the process so easy for us throughout the planning process. He had great ideas and just a few email exchanges later, we had a brief layout of the evening. We met with him in person about a month before the wedding to select songs and to go over the fine details. He was patient, methodical, and pretty much walked us through all the decision points. On the day of the wedding, we did not have to think or worry about anything. Clay has a nice voice and did a fantastic job throughout the evening. He talked just the right amount. Not too much, not too little. Again, it was worry free for us. You will be very happy with Clay. Side note 1: if you have a wedding coordinator, it is important that your DJ works well with her. Our wedding coordinator has worked with Clay many times and things just went so smoothly Side note 2: we did a slideshow during the reception. Clay provided the laptop, projector and white screen. The screen was on the small side. If you need a screen, make sure you are happy with the size.
