Kirby Rentals, LLC
( 3.0 / 5.0 )
The location is a little on the ruff side but once you get inside it's pretty ok. They have everything from chaffing dishes to tents. We always rented linen there and it was always freshly cleaned and pressed. They do the cleaning there. You'll see when you pick up anything in the back. The prices are fair and the staff are very helpful.

I was a special event coordinator for 3 years and delt will Puff-n-Stuff quit a bit. Alot of the events we did were mainly charity events. Puff-n-Stuff's staff were always nice and respectful. They were always on time and everyone was on the same page, which is difficult when your working with really large parties. Everthing was replenished throughout the event whenever I was around and the service was very helpful and picked up after customers continously. I've worked with other caterer's and let me tell you, picking up after people isn't there main priority. Who want's to see piled up plates and empty glasses everywhere. I would highly recommend Puff-n-Stuff for any event.

Amour Affairs
( 4.0 / 5.0 )
We found Amour Affairs through the hotel we were staying at. At first we were a little worried due to that there weren't many other planners on the island. Our planner Paulette was just delightful to work with. We did a lot of the planning by e-mails which was stressful enough but she really explained everything very clearly. I knew how everything was going to pan out but not being able to hand pick the flowers, the decorations, the wedding cake was a little scary. Paulette did a fabulous job and really listened to all the details and touches I wanted at the wedding. Everything turned out just wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better set-up.

Long's Bridal and Alterations
( 2.0 / 5.0 )
I didn't buy my wedding dress here but I did get my alterations done here. The first alteration was just to do a little hem on the botton of the dress to bring it up where it needed to hit my feet, which was done very nicely. The first alteration was pretty pricy. I was thinking because I didn't purchase the dress there. When I took it home to try on for my family, there was another alreation that my family thought I needed which was cleary obvious when my cousin took all the extra fabric and pulled it back. I was shocked on how skinnier I looked. For someone who does wedding alterations for a living. I thought she would have caught this. When I came back to get my 2nd alteration, she knew right off the bat what I was talking about and made the adjustments. I wasn't 100% pleased when I got it back either. Everything fit but there was a little bunching where she took the extra fabric out. I had to go to a different place all togeather and get the bunch look out of it. I did purchase a veil which was beautiful. They do have a wide varity of selection on shoes, wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and jewlery.
