Nicky and Eric were great at our wedding. They showed up a bit late due to the traffic, but immediately started working their magic. We love them for their superb customer service before, during, and after the wedding. Nicky responds to most email within seconds. We received our teaser pictures via their blog about two weeks and all of our proofs via their website exactly one month after the wedding. After we received the proofs we started working with Nicky to create our album. She was very receptive to our changes and ideas; after a few revisions, we were able to create the perfect album. We didn't give them 5 stars for a few reasons: late arrival, very few boys getting ready pictures, not really 2 primary photographers, and bad first look pictures. Overall they are great and we highly recommend them. We're very happy that we were able to book them and would still choose them if we were planning our wedding today.

Heather Cantwell Photography
We booked her for our wedding almost a year in advance. About a month before the wedding, we emailed and called(many times) her to confirm the details for the wedding day. After many days without a response, she finally wrote an email explaining personal/health problems which will prevent her from shooting our wedding. She did not provide any advance warning that this may happen. She also did not provide any recommendations for other photographers. Heather returned the deposit promptly after canceling. Obviously we did not use Heather for our wedding, this review is solely based on our limited interaction with her. Heather was great initially, answering emails almost instantaneously, and just extremely helpful all around. We loved her personality and felt extremely comfortable with her. We also fell in love with her photography, she takes beautiful pictures with a good balance of candid photo journalistic photos and posed portraits. However, on various occasions it would take her several days before receiving a response to emails/phone calls. While it is understandable that vendors are sometimes out of town, she does not put up an auto response on her email or voice mail, letting clients know when to expect her back. Her customer service needs major improvement.

Stacy is amazing! She knows every single dress in the shop and helped me find my dream dress. I went in several time before picking a dress. She was so helpful each time, never giving me any pressure to purchase right away like the other stores. I got my gown there, 4 bridesmaids dress, and even my mom bought her dress there. We loved the shop. I didn't give Bridal Elegance 5 stars for two reasons: 1. I custom ordered the dress so it would fit better. I had lost a bunch of weight due to health reasons, but gained it all back by my first fitting. However the dress was still too big and too long. I knew the risk when I paid for this, but I was given the impression it would fit better than it did. 2. I'm extremely disappointed with the alterations. My MOH also got hers altered there and she thinks they didn't even touch her dress. At the second fitting, I thought the gown was a tad too long but the alterations lady said it would be ok. On wedding day, I stepped on my dress several times, almost tripping on my way down the aisle. My BM also noticed that a loop on the bustle was too small at that same fitting, and she promised to fix it for when I pick it up. She never fixed it! The loop was so small that it was impossible to get it on the button, my bridesmaid had to improvise to get my train up. My dress was also still too big in the bust area, I was super concerned about having a strapless, and they had assured me that it would stay put. Well, I had to use a bunch of fashion tape and I felt like I was pulling up my dress all night long!! I spent a ton of money to get the bustle, bust, and hem done, and basically none of it was done correctly. I'm very disappointed with the alterations and while I highly recommend buying your dress here, DO NOT get your dress altered by them.

Candi is the sweetest lady, she was a pleasure to work with. I hate leaving her only 3 stars, but I have to. She made me a beautiful veil at a reasonable price. I loved the way the veil looked. The reason why I'm not completely satisfied is because the veil separated from the comb during my wedding. I wanted to wear the veil all night and had the hair dresser pin it into my updo. However, soon after the reception started, the veil fell off. The veil and some loose threads just fell to the ground. The plastic comb was still in my hair, part of it visible, and I heard it looked pretty bad. It was very difficult to remove without risking ruining my entire updo. Luckily my cousin saved the day and removed the comb without completely ruining my hair. This happened right at the beginning of the reception (before all kinds of activities like the first dance, cake, bouquet toss). The veil mal-function added a bit of unnecessary stress to my day. Good thing it lasted through the ceremony!
