We got engaged May 25, 2007 - Labor Day Weekend. FI proposed to me on a romantic gondola ride. It was a very special day which also happened to be the weekend of my parents 32nd wedding anniversary.
Our wedding Invitations were inspired by a Paper-Source Letterpress design which we had customized to include two colors, then printed and placed in a pocketfold envelopes. In addition to mongram embossed pocket-fold we used double envelopes to mail them. Bonnie Nelson did an amazing job with the Calligraphy for the double envelopes and addresses. She managed to match the script that our names were written with.
I used the same design to make DIY Hand Stamped and Embossed Thank You Cards and Table Number Cards. I changed the colors on the Table Number cards to match the flowers in the Centerpieces.
We had a local Honey Farmer bottle little 5 oz jars of Honey for us which we used as our wedding favors and escort card holders. We added a custom designed label (thanks to my amazing cousin) and a little honey dipper and tied it all with a white organza ribbon. We lined them all on a little staircase display that was custom made for these jars.
