I bought my wedding dress here on sale for $60.00 when it must have been around $1,000 originally! The people at this store were so helpful and not as pushy as those at most bridal shops.

Tidewater Chapel & Reception Hall

This is the perfect location for a smallish wedding. They let you tour the chapel and reception hall with or without one of the people who works there. So much is included in the price, which is already lower than most ceremony or reception sites in the Charleston area. The people are very helpful seem to honestly want to make your wedding special as well as helping you to avoid as much stress as possible while planning it.

Davids Bridal

David's Bridal is a good place to go if you want to allow your bridesmaids to wear different styles, while still having the same fabric. Unfortunately, the wedding gowns are very expensive and having a payment plan option is just not enough to make me buy one of their gowns. They do have a discount rack which goes down to about $300, but I found prettier gowns at lower prices in the locally owned stores. The people at David's Bridal are very helpful, but I found it annoying that you are pestered with emails and phone calls asking you about your experience there after you've visited- even if you didn't buy anything!

Kay Jewelers

My fiance bought my engagement ring here and we went back there to buy our wedding bands. We have a tight budget for this wedding and therefore could not spend much on the rings. We bought two plain white gold wedding bands and a special warranty for each one that lets us have them cleaned, repaired, and resized for life for a total of $120.
