John did our engagement photo session today, and we had an amazing time! He was professional, friendly, and wonderful to work with! He captured the moments, instead of trying to "create" them, which made us feel very comfortable. John was kind enough to send us 5 pictures right way, to tide us over until the rest are ready, and we are in love with his work! He is just getting into wedding photography, so grab him while he's still available!

Beth and Tara are amazing! They are sweet and friendly, and no nonsense and kick a$$ at the same time! I had a fantastic time at my shoot, despite my terrible nerves. Beth really knows how to coach you and make you look your best. Do it for your lover or do it for yourself - you won't regret it!

Stacy at Bridal Elegance made my first wedding dress search experience so wonderful that it was my last! She knows what she's talking about! I picked out 8 dresses to try on, and after seeing me in the dresses and listening to my feedback, she pulled 2 more dresses for me to try. Both were absolutely beautiful, fit in my budget, and were even better than the dresses I had selected myself. I was trying to decide between the two when Stacy remembered a new dress that wasn't even out on the floor yet. When she brought it in, I knew it was "the dress". It was exactly what I had described to her as my dream dress, and it was $300 under budget! Since they have so many wonderful dresses that are very affordable, it is a popular place and can be very busy on Saturdays! I recommend booking an appointment with Stacy or Christie for a Sunday or Monday, when the salon is closed to the general public. You will have an amazing experience!

Tivoli is an excellent location for couples who are looking for an all-inclusive venue. Their packages are great, and they really cut back on the planning work. We had a wonderful time at our wedding - the venue was beautiful, the coordinators looked after all of our needs, and the food was really good. Our guests were especially impressed with two things - they greeted everyone immediately following the ceremony with champagne and sparkling cider (which we didn't know they would do), and they set up a fabulous coffee and cookie bar after dinner, which was a really nice touch. If you go with Tivoli, do have someone check on the details, even though they provide 2 coordinators on wedding day. When we went to the rehearsal, they had lost our order of events, so we had to get them a new copy. They also lined up my bridesmaids in the wrong order, which I didn't notice until I looked at pictures later. The biggest issue we had was the seating chart. They did not number the tables correctly, and when DH and I sat down for dinner, we realized that my mom was in the very back corner of the room, and his cousins who I've only met once were right next to us. My mom was very upset, and it was too late to fix it. Also, see if they can put a sign on the parking payment box in the parking lot, or be very specific in your invitations that you are paying for parking. The signage in the city lot is not clear, and I found out after the wedding that most of my guests paid for parking, even though we had paid to rent the lot. Even though we had slight glitches, it was a wonderful day. If we had to do it all over again, we'd do it at Tivoli in a heartbeat :).

Amy was one of our favorite vendors! She is warm, friendly, fun, and talented! She made everyone feel so comfortable, and she quickly made friends with my 3 year old niece, so she was able to get her smiling in a lot of pictures that wouldn't have happened without Amy. We felt like Amy was another good friend with a camera, instead of a professional stranger.
