I love the rings in the roses shots, im using roses so it would only make sense :) also i really like that one i found of the ring on the deck. there is a deck at the venue we are at. the back of my dress plus the great ring my husband will have equals a perfect opportunity for that black and white shot. My husband loves making oragami, i will have him make one for the ring picture with the crane in it.
love these shoe shots, i like the idea of the groom and bride shoes too!
I like the above pictures because of the focus on the flowers, i like the blur effect in the two of them if you can do that too. i also like the one where she is holding it behind her back because the back of my dress is the best part.
I like these ones of the wedding party, the first one i just like how they are posed, we could do it anywhere around the venue and the second one is good because again there is a deck on the venue. i don't think it will be hard to get that last one my dress takes an army to get on. i like the mens pic because their hands are in their pockets lol, dont ask me why. that ringbearer pictures is perfect for our ringbearer (who happens to be chad's brother) he would totally kiss me <3
some of the pics i like for chad an i, love that first one, it's set up at the venue perfect for that, snow or not.
This is where we are having the ceremony and reception there are two dance floors one of which we will be using for food. a sound system is hooked up throughout so we will be saving money because we are hooking up an iPod, we wont have a DJ. for full information go to littlebearvillage.com
qualitychaircovers.com is providing our chair covers, sashes for the chairs. Lasting Impressions Event Rentals will be providing us with our napkins. We are going to have a mostly Lavender centerpiece with Navy napkins all around the table and Lavender sashes on all the chairs.
EXAMPLE OF TABLE SETUP INSPIRATION:
The picture below is of my actual wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. Of course it's just a computer rendition but it is the same design. you can do the same if you bought your wedding dresses at davidsbridal.com. i am tying my sisters bow in the front to make the maid of honor a little different and the others are going behind. the men are wearing black shirts and suits. The groom will be in a white vest and tie and the groomsmen will be in a navy vest and tie. The flower girls and ring bearer will be in Lavender.
The Groom and groomsmen: (sorry for the strange groomsmen example, i couldn't find anything else, lol)
This is an actual picture of a model in my wedding dress. Since I am having a winter wedding i have decided on this shawl. you can find it BY CLICKING HERE, at just $63.99, i found it else where for over $200.00 but the lovely sam.i.am helped me find it for less.
My Rings are gold so I am going to go with hints of gold with my wedding dress right now here are the jewels. a pic of my E-ring, the earrings i am going to get, you can find them by CLICKING HERE, and i also am borrowing my mothers single teardrop gold and diamond necklace that i don't have a picture of:
I am also going with gold tones in the shoes, i was having real trouble with this until I cam across the bad boys below. they are from Nordstrom. They are called Platinum BP by Larrisa-stn in gold satin. I love them because they are satin gold instead of just regular gold so they will go with the white of the dress better and the jewels on the top or inlaid in gold which was a huge problem i was finding:
And for the flats, these are madden girl centurie in gold paris (even though they look silver they aren't in real life):
want to get this garter in navy or lavender from etsy.com garterlady:
I'm prolly just going to go with this one though to save money:
this is my makeup inspiration:
I am going with this very soft Lavender flower girl dress from mygirldress.com, i also found this jacket at the same website to keep them warm. The flower girl dress is 24.99 each (I will need three) and the jacket is 26.99 each (I will also need three) such a steal!
I found this amazing website where they make centerpieces and wedding favors all in one in a lovely bouquet! the website is wanderfuls.com, here is a picture. it would cost about $588.00 for 15 tables with 10 favors in each one, It's a lot cheaper than my ugly DIY centerpieces and favors were going to be:
Pricing for anyone that is interested,
$3.90 per 8" favor ($3.12 with military discount)
$5.00 per base, need one base per table
$2.00 credit if you return the base after the wedding
I ordered the invitations below from davidsbridal.com they have some of the most beautiful personalized invites that i have seen and they are super cheap. i paid about $125.00 for 200 invitations and envelops.
GOING TO INCORPORATE THIS:
I was planning this wedding way back in October of 2007 when suddenly my husband got shipped to Iraq. before he went we decided that we should just go ahead and get married by court. we dubbed this court adventure our "fake" wedding. we didn't want to use our real rings for our fake wedding so we went to the jewelry store and bought regular old gold bands and said we would exchange those during court and save our good ones for the day we had our real wedding. chad has been wearing his gold band obviously on his hand for the past two years and i decided to put mine on a necklace and wear it around my neck. i didn't want to put the gold band up against my gorgeous E-ring, it just didn't look right, it's like why do you have this awesome E-ring and skimp on the wedding band.
WANT TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH THE NECKLACE:
The first picture is pretty much what my bouquet is going to look like. I decided on cool water roses and dark blue delphiniums (second and third picture), I didn't want any white in my bouquet, i think it will be a little different and beautiful you can check them out at manorhouseflowers.com.
what better thing to have fun with at the wedding than the cake? so this will be our wedding cake topper which you can find at etsy.com the actual cake is a surprise. i wont be posting it until after the wedding :)
Found a girl to do my photos for $600, I know her so i got a great deal! (some of her work below)
Heather and Chad Kiley
Chad and Heather met sophomore year in high school. They dated off and on throughout their high school years. Straight out of high school Heather went to college at Columbus State University and Chad decided to go into the military. Heather didn't hear from Chad for a long time and was ready to give up on him when she received a letter from the post office:
"We are sorry to inform you but this letter was found in our machine, please accept our apology on behalf of the United States Postal Service"
Low and behold it was the letter Heather had been waiting for in about 50 small pieces! It had been torn up by the machinery, he had written after all. It took me two hours to put that letter back together and we wrote back and fourth not being able to speak to each other for a long time. Writing turned into phone calls, phone calls turned into visits, visits turned into engagement dinner and so it was...
Chad and I were engaged and I was planning a wedding in October of 2007. Then to my surprise, and disappointment, Chad got called to Iraq. We had to cancel everything and have a court marriage. He was over in Iraq for 13 months and got back in February of 2009. NOW IT' S TIME FOR THE WEDDING! Our date is set for January 2nd, 2010 which is the only date we knew for sure he would be able to do it. Strange date, but that’s okay because everything has been strange for us and I'm sure it will happily continue to be.
