So i have been meaning to lose weight since we got engaged. But i actually managed to gain 20lbs instead!! Crikey!

I have lost 7lbs of that but still have a fair way to go and the wedding is only 4 months away now! My aim is to lose another 17lbs as that would bring me to 11.7 which isn't great, but i can accept it. Ideally i would like to get beneath the 11stone mark, but i want to set myself realistic goals. And considering christmas is between now and the wedding i think 17lbs is a tall enough order!! lol!

So i have embarked on the 30 day shred by Gillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. I'm on day 3 and my body is aching! I can already feel that my waist is a little tighter, so hopefully at the end of the 30 days my body will be tigther and more toned.

If you haven't done this it is a seriously good workout. I will let you know how i get on at the end of 30 days!

I am having two bridesmaids, my friend Alison and my friend Maria. I really wanted two people who would be able to help me get ready on the day and also try to keep me calm......i'm hoping they will be able to pull this off!! :-)

We chose their dresses together and ordered them a few weeks ago. They are having a dress from Jasmine, and it will be in Buttercup yellow! I can't wait to see them when they arrive.

We started dating in 2002, and moved in together after just 6 months. Then on our 1 year anniversary we bought and moved into our very own house!!

Fast forward 6 years and it was christmas 2008. Now you need to know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! Christmas. I have a huge tree with hundreds of baubles and lights and i stack all the presents up underneath and make a real song and dance about the whole event.
My H2B was making a big deal about me "not touching" my presents as he was worried i'd figure out what they were. Bless.
On christmas day he actually overslept, (i found out later it was because he couldn't sleep because he was so nervous) so i had been up for about an hour by the time he ventured downstairs. I was a little miffed that he had slept in for so long as i wanted us to open our presents!!
He wanted me to open the ones from him straight away but i wouldn't, as i always open the ones from my friends first, i told him i was saving the best for last!
He then handed me my presents one by one, and i handed him his. I think it was my third present when he went very quiet and i unwrapped a lovely black gift box, when i took the lid of it was filled with socks!! I was soooo excited. I am completly addicted to socks and have over 100 pairs, so i thought this was the best christmas present ever!! It was only when i pulled out two pairs of the socks that i realised there was a jewellery box at the bottom!
I froze, with a million things running through my head. I lifted the box out and opened it to find my dream ring inside. I looked up and he was on one knee and asked me to marry him! I said of course and we hugged and i cried!
He had also bought us a bottle of appletise to toast with, as i don't drink alcohol.

My last present was a huge stack of wedding magazines all wrapped up neatly, so that we could start planning the wedding that very day!

 My Ring!

That was the best christmas day ever!

I love flowers and want to have as many of them as possible. But my budget is quite tight so i have opted for a cheap and cheerful flower.....carnations.

I think that when they are used well they can look so beautiful......look at some of these pictures!Flowers photo 1Flowers photo 2Flowers photo 3Flowers photo 4

I think they look stunning and i am so excited about having them at my wedding!!

I am sooo excited about my dress! I looked for months and visited about 15 stores before finding this dress.

The first time i tried it on i wasn't 100% sure about it, as there werea few that i really liked, but it was in my top three. After a few days i knew deep down it was the one as i couldn't stop thinking about it!! I went back and tried on all three dresses but this won hands down!

Its Maggie Sottero Sabelle and i can't wait to wear it next March.
