For those of you that didn't catch my recap.....DH and I were stuck in bed with the flu for the 3 or 4 days leading up to our wedding. We were feeling a little better on our wedding day but still a little too weak to stand up during the ceremony. We made it though! :)
I'm already so happy with these few "teasers" that our photographer, Leeann Ritch, sent us. I can't wait to see the rest of them!
We have rented a white open-air trolley from Old Savannah Tours to transport all of our guests to and from the ceremony and reception. Between the two events, the trolley driver will take the guests on a mini tour of the Historic Downtown District.
Just a few pics to share from our engagement party. :)
So, alot of you know that I ended up purchasing a second dress. While I LOVED my first one (loved it much more in person than on the model), I decided I wanted a more simple dress with a shorter train for my outside ceremony. This is a Private Label by G gown in ivory. Its a size 12 and I purchased it as a sample dress. The salon had it professionally cleaned before I picked it up and it has been stored in the dress bag in my home (pet free and smoke free). I purchased the dress for $720 (I believe it was retailing somewhere around $900) and I would like to sell it for $400 plus shipping OBO. PM me if you would like more pictures. :)
Pictures of the actual dress. (Please excuse the clutter!)
So, I decided to attempt to DIY a pearl bracelet like I've seen alot of girls on here wear. I have to say, this is my favorite thing that I've made so far! Thanks so much to bridget10210 and floydh2 for being so nice and answering all of my silly questions about how to do this. (The clasp is silver - not sure why it looks gold in some of the pictures.)
I saw these beauties on a couple of other brides' bios and had to get them for myself! They're even more gorgeous and sparkly in person than they are in the pictures! They're from ebay seller megamadeusa. (Again, FI has been getting artsy with the camera.)
My shoes and earrings together!
Still not sure if I want to do a hair flower or a crystal hair comb in my hair yet.
Well, after weeks and weeks of looking through hundreds of hair flowers (seriously.....I spent more time on this than my dress and I'm probably the only one that will even notice it!!!) I have have finally chosen a cute little sparkly one from weegardens on Etsy. I love it! I'll post pics of it when I get it in.
So, once again, I've changed my mind about my hair accessory. I got the beautiful hair flower (above) in and I love it but I think its just too much for me. I've ordered a crystal brooch hair comb and a feather hair fascinator that I'm going to try and decide between now. (Yes, I'm THAT indecisive. lol)
