Here are our Save the Date postcards I got printed from Vistaprint. Thanks to fellow PW bride pinktulip's post  on Vistaprint's 100 FREE postcards promo!!!  All I had to pay for was shipping and the envelopes! =))))

And here's the actual photo for the save the date postcard. I wrote our date on a chalkboard and brought it along as a prop for for our session:

-Square Pocketfold DIY Letterpress Invitations are all done and ready to be sent out!!!!

I'm a professional graphic designer and thought I would put my design skills to good use. ;) So I designed our invitations and sent my artwork to Accucolor Press ( to be printed in letterpress and bought the pocketfolds/envelopes/paper at Cards and Pockets( and assembled them myself to save some money and put tiny pink gems on the flowers for a little bling! ;) **Thanks to fellow PW bride Lingy's invitations, I would have never found Accucolor Press. =) ** So here they are:

Here are the pro pics:

Silver birdcage for cards and envelopes is done! It was orginally a brown birdcage my sister used for her wedding since brown was one of her colors, but I spray painted it silver and added a 'cards and envelopes' sign with ribbon to match our wedding invitations and colors.

We've been together for a long time! since highschool! So I guess we're highschool sweethearts. We actually met through our long time good friend, Lisa =), on the last couple of weeks of highschool. Good thing we did or we would have never met! Our first date was our senior ball together. And the rest is history...He proposed last September when we moved in our first apartment together. =)

here's my pretty 1 carat engagement ring: I love it!!

we had the opportunity to have our friend, David Suh's brother, Jaemi Suh Photography, take our engagement pictures for FREE! Thank you Jaemi, we had such a blast! here are some of our favorite shots:

*Special thanks to another friend, Tin Huynh's sister who is a very talented MUA, Joanne Huynh, who did my hair and makeup for the engagement session.

We also had another e-session with our photographer Kim Le Photography who will also be our photographer for our wedding!

*Special thanks to my mom who made my bouquet as a prop for the e-session. See more here.

I can't believe I bought my wedding dress so early! It's called The Ashley by Maggie Sottero.

It compliments my figure so well and I love everything about this dress! =) I will be wearing the dress without the straps.

I had searched for this dress everywhere and wasn't satisfied with the price until my friend suggested Debra from DoriAnne Veils. I highly reccommend her as she sold me the dress for 30% off the retail price!!! I am definitely going back to her for BM dresses, flower girl dresses and Mother of the Bride dresses!

I also just got my flower hairpiece (it's also the same material as my wedding dress-organza-so it matches perfectly!) by Toni Federici. I purchased it for 50% the retail price from the same lady at DoriAnne Veils I purchased my wedding gown from.

UPDATE: I decided to wear the organza flower fascinator and birdcage veil from Woskov from her Etsy Shop. I think the birdcage veil is more modern and fashionable and goes well with my Maggie Sottero dress.

I will also be wearing a traditional Chinese dress(cheongsam) that I am having custom made for the morning tea ceremony and for table toastings at end of the night at our chinese banquet.

found this cute and simple garter with a single blue Swarovski crystal on Etsy for only $8! I didn't want to spend too much on garter since it'll be tossed away anyway (Congrats to David who caught the garter!! =))
