We have 2 different options for venues. We can only choose one because they are a few hundred miles apart. We will either get married at my aunt's house or get married at his childhood church with the reception held at his Aunt's house. I feel like the wedding in Ohio would mean more to everyone. That is the only way we will have a church wedding. There are a truckload of issues that go along with that consider we live in Georgia. What do I do? Any advice?!
Our colors are going to be Black, White, and Pink. I wanted to use Casablanca Lilies and pink roses because the smell of the two together is FANTASTIC!! However, that's not an option because of the date.
We are on a tight budget, therefore i didn't want to spend much money on my dress. I would rather wear something pretty and inexpensive that something pretty and that cost as much as a used car. I chose to pick out a bridesmaid's dress that i fell in love with!
I love this dress especially with the crinoline under it. I will miss the train but for an outdoor wedding in August I think I'll be happy not having it!!
I am going to let my MoH and bridesmaid choose their own dresses in black. When they choose their dress I'll post a pic of them in it!
My name is Allison and the FH's name is Chris. We met on HotorNot.com late January of 2008. We finally talked on February 9th and decided to meet the next day. During the date everything was just about perfect, until we left and he only gave me a half hug. If I go in for a hug, I want a full one. I literally said "I'll never see him again" when I got to my car. I deleted his number and wrote it off. On the following Friday (Feb. 15) he text me and asked me to go to the most expensive restauraunt in our town. I wasn't dressed to go anywhere, just lounging with my mom and when I got that message told her where I was asked to go, "You better go get dressed" she said. I did and he picked me up shortly after. From that night on I've been hooked! I could not have asked for a better man to share my life with. We have SO much in common even with our 6 and a half year age difference (I'm about to be 21 in November and he turned 27 in June). We love cars, shopping, cooking, going out, reading, we even have agreed on 100% of wedding plans thus far and he WANTS to know what's going on. The ONLY thing he's being left out of is the dress choice. I'm so excited to be able to say that I have found the perfect man for me and cannot wait to be Mrs. Kennedy on September 4th 2010!!
