24KT Sound & Video
They got my edited DVDs done before we got back from our honeymoon (which is INSANE!!!). They used 3 cameras during the ceremony, so got vantage points from wherever you would need them (it's not 3-D because that would be kinda scary, but it's so wonderful to see what's going on in your faces while you're saying your vows!). My only complaint is that the music is not our style, but that can be easily remedied.

I had a decent initial experience with this salon. On my first visit, I told them my budget and the salesperson I was working with brought me many beautiful gowns to try on, most WAY below the number I quoted her as my budget. I loved many of the gowns I tried on, but when I went around the store to look around for myself, I eyeballed a gown in the window that just screamed me. I asked the saleswoman if I could try it on, and she let me know that it was a bit above the budget I had quoted to her or else she would have brought it to me in the first place. Of course I ended up falling in love with it the second I saw it on me, but I also really liked another one of the gowns she had brought me earlier. The salesperson told me to walk down their "fake aisle" to make the ultimate decision. I did this with the two dresses I liked, and both the salesperson and the manager told me they loved both gowns but thought the less expensive one would make me happier since it was more in my budget. Their response indicated that they were most concerned with making me happy rather than selling me the more expensive gown. However, the second I tried on the more expensive gown I knew it was "the one" (as did my bridesmaids that were with me), and I made the decision to go a bit over my original budget. Mon Amie's customer service does drop off quite a bit once you've purchased a gown there. It seems to me like once they make the sale, no more effort is to be wasted on you. They have very inconvenient alteration appointment times and are generally overpriced. I have mixed feelings on whether I would recommend them to a friend. Their selection is great and I think it's worth a visit to try gowns on, but you can do better elsewhere.

The Sunset was wonderful for my wedding reception and everything I could have hoped for. The food was even better than I thought it would be! Kelly Ann was a total doll and a riot to work with, and definitely dealt with my bridal craziness in stride. The night of the wedding was so much fun, and I've heard nothing back from guests but compliments on how yummy the food was and how fun the staff was. Everyone also keeps commenting on how fun and well-run the cocktail hour was (even though I freakin' missed it) because the hors d'oeuvres and cocktails were constantly flowing and nobody ever had to ask to be helped. Apparently the cocktails I had requested were constantly floating around on trays like there was a limitless supply. . .love it! Anyways, I would whole-heartedly recommend this location to any bride who is a foodie and who wants to be married on the beach. Here's a few things to keep in mind: 1) I didn't have my ceremony there because the beach (while gorgeous) is public and thus can be quite crowded in the summer (not much of an issue in other seasons); 2) Malibu has a noise ordinance so your band/DJ will have to shut down relatively early (I believe 11:30); and 3) I don't think they offer a buffet or food station option (please double check with the venue first because they may have changed their policy since I had my wedding). Overall, I highly recommend this venue and had such a great time!

My wedding cake was so delicious and pretty. My only issue is that I ordered my cake as a 3-tier, stacked cake, and it arrived at my reception with the two bottom tiers stacked and the top layer on those annoying, ugly risers. It also had an ugly tulle looking thing on the bottom that I wasn't anticipating. I still thought it looked beautiful and I'm not a big cake bride so I really don't care that much, but it just indicates that they didn't really follow the contract. However, I did call them post-wedding and they agreed to give us an anniversary cake in the same style and flavor as our wedding cake for free, so now I'm totally happy! Despite my little issue, Hansen's makes the most consistently delicious cakes in the area and I highly recommend them! I looked around A LOT so I can definitely attest to this! Also, they have some of the best prices in the area. One thing to consider is that their display books and galleries don't really offer the most modern designs, so you'll have to tell them and show them a picture of exactly what you want.

Sweet Lady Jane
I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. When my husband and I went in for our tasting appointment, we were forced to wait for almost an hour while the owner chatted on the phone right in front of us (and trust me, she knew we were there waiting for her). When she finally decided to grace us with her presence, we were informed that they only had 3 of their many flavor combos available for our tasting. What we were able to taste was dry, flavorless and uninspired. The owner was very pushy, telling us to order an overpriced cake that day or else there was little chance they'd be able to accommodate us. At the same time, she acted like she could care less if we ever came back. Needless to say, we ran out of that place and never looked back.

This place is amazing and custom makes the most gorgeous creations. I ADORE my asscher cut engagement ring and the matching diamond wedding band they made to match it perfectly. I also get compliments on it ALL the time. Their style is very reminiscent of Daniel K, but without the hefty price tag. Go in and see their work!!! It's right next to Icing on the Ring where my hubby's ring ultimately ended up coming from.

I too loved (and still love) the work that Danielle did! I gave my boudoir shots to my hubby as a wedding gift and he loved them! My only complaint is that even though her work is amazing, for the price I feel like she still should offer some type of hair & make-up service even though Tess is gone. For my package, I had to do my own makeup & hair and really feel like I would have looked much fresher & sexier had a professional done it. Despite this, Danielle is so talented that she made me look great anyways and I have an album that my hubby will always treasure and my future kids will never see ( :)!

I scheduled an appointment here to look at Bridesmaid dresses and let me tell you, this place is anything but high end. As soon as my Bridesmaids and I walked in, we got a really weird feeling that the visit was going to suck, probably because every single salesperson totally ignored us, even when we asked for assistance. Then we went upstairs to the Bridesmaid section, let a woman know of our appointment, and then were ignored for almost an hour. We spent that entire amount of time sorting thru ugly, overpriced dresses (with no assistance) and ended up just making fun of all the crap that was in this "high end" boutique. Ladies, avoid this place at all costs. It will save you the headache of having to drive thru Beverly Hills and experience service that can't even be described as mediocre.

Actually, you get two hours at the chapel: an hour before your ceremony starts, the time for your ceremony (which is generally about 20 minutes) and the remainder of the second hour for pictures. This means that weddings are actually scheduled every 2 hours on even hours. I can't imagine anyone needing more than this time for just the ceremony. Your photographer is allowed inside the chapel, but must only take pictures from the rear. I understand this is a standard practice inside many churches. If you use the chapel videographer (who is very good) and one of the many chapel approved photographers (all of which are good), you can have your photographer arrange with the videographer to take stills from the front of the chapel in either of the two video cameras embedded in the front.

The Montclair Collection
Even though I did not eventually end up purchasing my gown through this salon, I wanted to write up a review on them. I went in this salon with my Mom for my very first gown search and had a wonderful experience. The two saleswomen that I dealt with were very sweet and very patient with me given that it was my first bridal gown experience. I truly had no idea of what I wanted going in, giving them a description of gowns I liked in magazines that spanned the spectrum from ballgown to mermaid. They were very kind and brought me a ton of different gown styles and had no problem with me doing a little digging of my own ("digging" is a relative term because this salon does not have a HUGE selection). I ended up loving a very simple bias cut gown with a sweep train by Pronovias, but using my bridal wisdom did not order it on the spot and ended up looking around even more just to be sure. While I did end up finding my dream gown from another store since the Montclair Collection didn't carry the designer, I still highly recommend this boutique salon. They have a gorgeous selection of European styled gowns (either because the gown is from a European designer of because the style is European) that you won't find anywhere else in the area. I also found that the saleswomen were very honest and upfront when asked about prices from everything to the gown to alterations to cleaning. Although I cannot give this salon a full review and grade since I didn't ultimately end up ordering from them, I can say that my experience with them was wonderful and felt like shopping in a vintage store. Think vintage ballet store meets gown store.

He lost all of my pictures and took my money for an album deposit and ran. If you want more details, feel free to email me at: email@example.com Look him up on the Better Business Bureau. His grade there speaks for itself. Apart from this, I was very disappointed overall with the quality of his work and his annoying mannerisms at our wedding. He was my one major regret about our wedding and I truly wish I would've sucked it up and spent more on a great photographer. As has been said many times before, you get what you pay for.

Blooms In Style
My flowers were actually the first thing I noticed about my wedding because they were so beautiful and so exactly what I had envisioned! Blooms in Style kept within my budget while still giving me the all-orchid look I was going for. The flowers surpassed my expectations, and many of them are still thriving to this day (orchids are generally hearty but can be quite difficult to keep. . . this is indicative of a florist that chooses only the healthiest of plants). I got so many compliments on my flowers and still do to this day. All I know is that I went in to this florist with a VERY specific vision that was not within their normal books that they show clients, and they met my vision dead on because their wonderful staff actually listens to what you want and makes it work for you. Highly recommended!
