I bought my dress from The Bride's Room in August. Yes when you walk in they are all smiles and great customer service to help you find the dress of your dreams. But once they swipe your card they don't care about you. I also bought a veil from there off the rack which they were giving me at a discount rather than buying a brand new one. A word to the wise, CHECK EVERY INCH OF ANYTHING YOU BUY! Better yet, don't buy from here because you can find it cheaper! When I got the veil home to my horror I found a rip. They told me it was in perfect condition and I believed them. And of course I'm kicking myself for not checking it all over but I was so excited about finding my dress I just wasn't thinking clearly. I tried to return the veil and even offered to pay the difference of a new veil from the sample, and they refused and told me it was my fault. When I told them I didn't want to have to charge back my card the owner laughed at me and said, "you won't win." She then said she would try to order a new one but the company they got their veils from they had closed their account with, but would if they could. My dress I also bought has a snag in it which we did not see in the store. Also they say you are getting such a great deal on sample dresses, but I found my dress BRAND NEW online for less! My girlfriend also found a dress there but bought it from another salon for less! And my veil, I had to replace it and got it for $130 less at House of Brides. Bottom line, this place is a rip off and they have no hearts. All I wanted to have was this great experience with getting my gown and now I am sick to my stomach when I think about it.
