Instead of using a calligrapher, I printed my own seating cards.
Software: Microsoft Word (adjust the page settings to the card size)
Image: I copied and pasted the image from a PW article called "Flourishes" Big thanks to the wonderful bride, JessiePilot, for posting that! :)
I wore nothin' but earrings! :)
Purchased from ModelBride
Designer: Christian Dior purchased from Neiman's during a summer blowout sale. It was more than 80% off and the best part is that I can wear them again!
Here are the shoes that did not work out...
The ever popular Chinese Laundry "Baldwin" platform shoes. I loved them! They were super comfortable but they were not practical. I knew I'd never wear them again so I returned them.
However, I highly recommend them! They are reasonably priced and gorgeous!
I loved the "Pelle Moda" shoes (inspired by Kohler), but they were sold out. So I found this pair at "Wild Pair" and I thought I had scored!!! However, when I tried them on with my dress, the gems snagged the crinoline of the dress.
I ended up wearing these at other peoples' weddings, and boy did these babies HURT!!! But I must say, these were a hit!
I designed and created the programs using Microsoft Project. Very simple, nothing extraordinary... :)
I ended up purchasing a cathedral length veil (no edge) from Occansey Bridal or www.obridal.com. I can't recommend them enought! There prices are super reasonable (mine cost less than $80) and the customer service is excellent!
