My ultimate fav desert is Stefanie's Red Velvet Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. I almost cried after having my first bite and almost cried again when I realized how addicted I would become and how this could be fatal to my wedding dress. Well, today I just learned that the Cheesecake factory no longer makes wedding cakes :( But this will not deter a resillient bride! I think I'm gonna order 3 of these and create 3 tiers out of them.
I love Danish design!
I had been single for three years and I felt a lot of pressure from people around me to stop being so picky, as I was in my late twenties. I've always been kinda stubborn. I knew I wanted to marry a man who loved God, shared the same dreams as I and who would be my best friend - my soulmate. I've learned that some things are really worth the wait.
My fiance and I met in the jungle in the Philippines when we were filming a documentary about a tribe. I was living in my hometown in Copenhagen, Denmark at the time, and he was living in the USA. We only knew each other professionally, as independent filmmakers, but had never met. Of all the DPs I knew, he was the only one I found who had the talent and the character to film this delicate story with me. The moment I mentioned the project to him, he volunteered to go. I was so excited and delighted. We started becoming friends over this period of preparation, prior to meeting. The more I got to know him, the more I started thinking I was really gonna fall for this guy. When we met in Manila airport in 2007, I heard him call my name. I turned my head and saw this handsome guy smiling at me. He picked me up from the ground and spun me around. That's when I realized I just got struck by lightning. Needless to say, we both got jungle fever from that trip and have never gotten rid of the love bug :)
