We will be renewing our vows on our one year anniversary. 1 year may seem weird to some but who cares, lol. I  love any excuse to plan a party! As of right now, we're having a library theme, but its likely to change. (again) I  have such a hard time making up my mind.

I will be wearing my Mom's wedding dress. I can't wait because she will be so surprised! My hubby will be wearing black and grey in some form. Still searching for favors so any suggestions are welcome.

Also, I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep my hair short or grow it out. My hubby tells me he likes it short but gives me more compliments when its longer. I will probably be getting extensions because of this.

I'm kind of at a stand still as far as planning goes. Who knows, my theme may change again or there may be no theme. Only time and my busy mind will tell.

Our colors were chocolate, red, gold, and cream.............

Our wedding colors and why we chose them photo 1Our wedding colors and why we chose them photo 2Our wedding colors and why we chose them photo 3Our wedding colors and why we chose them photo 4

The chocolate was a no-brainer, I AM ADDICTED TO EATING IT! Lol. Plus it didn't hurt that I found my chocolate dress before we were even 100% sure on the colors.

The red is both Dee's and my favorite color, so how could we get married without including it?

The gold, honestly, I just thought that it would look good with the chocolate and red.

The cream/ivory, whatever, I said 'What the heck? It is a wedding, may as well have some form of white somewhere!' Seriously, I really said that, lol.

So picking a color scheme for us was actually quite simple. Lots of people loved the color combo and I thought that the colors really did compliment eachother. Hmph, and they said it was hard, haha.

I am so very in love with my man! Lol. We met almost two years ago at the home of mutual friends. That same day, he had to go to Texas for a family reunion weekend. The entire weekend, we talked and laughed and asked eachother lots of questions. (well I asked lots of questions, Lol!) When he came home, he picked up my youngest son and I and we watched movies and fell asleep. Soooo, that was technically our first date.

As time went on, we fell in love and moved in together. We did things a tad bit backwards because we now have a baby daughter whom we both love so so so much. (she's freaking adorable)

In August, sadly, my 26 year old brother unexspectedly passed away. It was and still is one of the hardest things I will ever deal with. My FH was absolutely incredible. He held me, comforted me, listened, and everything in between. I truly couldn't have made it without him.

About one month later, we decided to get married. No big surprise or anything. We both knew it was what we wanted to do. He got me a beautiful ring and the planning began. We are very excited and anxious to get to our big day and the next chapter in our love story.
