We had our reception at the Hilton North in the Crown Ballroom. The room was beautiful and looked absolutely great for the reception. When we booked the Hilton we worked with one wedding coordinator who ended up leaving the Hilton, so we finished with another. The change made me a little nervous, but everything worked out great. The last wedding coordinator, Bruce, was great. He took care of all the details and was flexible enough to help me with anything I wanted to do a little differently. When my husband and I arrived at the reception he greeted us both with a glass of my favorite wine and a bottle of my husband's favorite beer. He stayed for the entire reception to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was really delicious and the waitstaff was very good with the dinner service. The one problem we had was that once Bruce left around 11pm (we decided to keep our reception going until midnight since everyone was having so much fun), the waitstaff immediately began to clean up. This made our guests feel like they couldn't sit down and many of the favors that the guests were saving at their tables were taken. We reported this to Bruce after the event and he was very apologetic and said he would do something about it.
We really liked that everything was included in one price here; the food, the cake from Taylor's Bakery, the tables, chairs, linens, etc. It was nice to not have to worry about adding more costs once we selected our package.

The Hilton Indianapolis North Hotel and staff made my wedding day stress free and was very professional! The food was excellent! They took care of each and every minor detail and made my special day "extra" special.




We had made reservations for our rehearsal dinner at 120 West Market restaurant, the restaurant situated in the Hilton Hotel where so many of our out-of-town guests were staying. There may be better restaurant in the area, but we didn’t want people to worry about driving and locating a different restaurant. We made reservations for 20 people, and the restaurant actually had two waiters on staff just for us! It made the service quick and also the experience really enjoyable, because no one ever waited for their food or drinks. The menu is pretty good, standard food that you would find at a hotel, and the price was between $15-20 a plate, not including drinks. The ambiance is also rather nice. I loved the idea that we were all able to spend so much time together right before the wedding day, and that we could all just walk up to our rooms at the end of dinner.

The reception venue was BEAUTIFUL! We had our ceremony & reception on the same ballroom. VICTORY BALLROOM. We had a cocktail hour on a different floor and while we did that, they changed the ballroom from ceremony to reception! Everything was wonderful.
We did however start out with a different coordinator than we orginally wanted, but in the end the one we had was PERFECT.
They also included FREE suite and dinner on our 1 year anniversary.
We also had my bachelorette party in one of their super suites! It was a blast!
We had them include that in the deal that my parents worked out with them!
I couldnt have asked for a better reception venue!
