I rented a Chinese sequin dress from 2000 Dreams bridal. It fit like a glove which required no alterations. I got lots of compliments from my friends and family. Even when I brought the dress back in the plastic clothes bag, customers in the store were oohing and ahhing the dress! I've done business with them twice before (as bridesmaids!) so Nancy remembers me and gave me a great deal when it was my turn to get married. I understand sometimes people may view their customer service as not so good, but coming from an Asian community, there are language barriers which can potentially cause friction in the communication process. Just be patient, bring a Vietnamese or Chinese speaking friend, and know how to haggle.

I was a little hesitant to go here after I read the reviews, but I really did have a great experience here. First piece of advice. Go here already knowing what dress you want. I actually found my dream dress at another boutique, but I knew I could find the dress for less. This was my goal when I went with two friends on a Sunday afternoon. Although it was busy, Nancy spoke with me right away. She's all business, and was open to negotiating dress price. She was able to order the dress in my size, and the dress arrived the week she said it would. I went for 2 fittings. Second piece of advice, bring a friend to the final fitting. I'm glad my friend came because they showed her how to bustle my dress. I picked the dress up the week before the wedding, the 2 other women in the shop were very hesitant for me to try it a final time with my maid of honor there. A little put off by their customer service, but when I tried it on at home, it was perfect, beautiful and ready for wedding day!

DON'T DO IT!!!! After reading all the mixed reviews I was very hesitant about doing business with 2000 dreams bridal but I thought to myself.... I'm only ordering bridesmaids dresses, what can go wrong? Oooooh this was the biggest regrets of my wedding planning. Saving a few bucks is NOT worth the stress that comes with working with 2000 dreams bridal. First, it IS true that they treat you WORSE if you don't speak chinese. I had my bridesmaid come in and get a quote for me in chinese and when i came the next day to order, they gave me a higher price! Why? Because I'm not Chinese! Then when I placed my order, she assured me that i would get the dresses in 10 weeks and it would probably come earlier.... well after 11 weeks i called and they still didn't have the dresses. They wouldn't tell me the status just that i would get it "any second now" which was BS. FINALLY after 12 weeks i got a call that the dresses arrived. I came to pick up 4 identical dresses in european royal blue and when i was looking at them, one of the dresses was a DIFFERENT shade of blue!!! After bringing this to their attention, they had the audacity to say that it is just the lighting. Realizing their bull was not going to fly with me, they said they would call the manufacturer to rush order the 4th dress to be the correct shade of blue. I took 3 of the 4 dresses home that day and waited for their phone call about the last dress. I get a call the following day where they demanded that i return the dresses i picked up the prior day because they had to send ALL the dresses back to the manufacturer. I dont understand why it was so difficult for them to order the correct shade of blue. Having absolutely ZERO trust in 2000 dreams bridal, i just took the last dress in the different shade home so i wouldn't have to prolong the terrible service from this shop. DO NOT BELIEVE them when they tell you they've been in business for over 20 years and to trust them! It's not worth the stress...

Nancy and the ladies at 2000 dreams do a great job. Not only did I find my dream dress (that even the designer, Pronovias, told me I couldn't get) I also found the perfect dresses for my bridesmaids. They work with each bride to make sure she stays in her budget and include alterations in the purchase of a wedding gown. Great work!

This place really provided me with the beautiful dress for my big day! I had found my dress at Allure Bridals online and had called this place to see if they have it and got a price quote. They had to order my dress and they did not charge me for alterations. The ladies were at bit unorganized in regards to customer service, but they did make all ends meet. If one can overlook the customer service, they will be pretty satisfied with the outcome. The other thing is that, one can bargain at this place so keep that in mind.

If not for a referral, chances are the rude customer service would have been an immediate turn-off. Once you realize the prices are unbeatable and they genuinely care about the product, you'll be able to handle the curtness.

Owner Nancy was very helpful in altering my dress to my liking. She is nice, honest, and very easy to work with. As for her workers, i don't know if they are on commission but the only thing they knew how to say is "You look very pretty" or "You look beautiful" over and over again which got annoying after awhile.

STAY AWAY: the epitome of bad service and immoral business practice. I can handle the overly aggressive rushing personalities. What I can't handle is bad business practice. I came to this store to find a bridal gown close to home. I found the perfect one...after taking my measurements I was told I needed a size 6. Now, in normal clothing I'm a size 0 - 2n so this sounded a little weird to me. The owner, Nancy, showed me on the size charts that while by bust and hip I was definitely a size 4..I was in between a size 4-6 for waist....I had mentioned that I had tried on size 4 elsewhere and they had fit fine, but Nancy insisted that I needed a size 6. She went on and on about how I would rip a seam since this was a trumpet-fit dress...and to trust her because she's had 25 years experience and no complaints. So I ordered it and was asked to pay everything up front. This should have been the first sign. 5 weeks later (and 1 month out from my wedding) the dress is in and I go to try it and its big...big at bust and big at hip and instead of form fitting to my body it popped up in the back because the inner corset was too long for me...again Nancy said "don't worry, don't worry we will fix it" 2 weeks go by and all they've done is the hem and sewn pads into the bust...now, I'm a 32D-i don't need pads...and I was swimming in the dress....again they said they'd fix it...now its a week out from wedding and I'm supposed to pick it up...there's still over an inch gap from the dress to me in the bust area and the back still looks horrible. It doesn't even look like a trumpet fit. We show nancy the catalog bpicture of the dress and she says "you can't look like a model" WOW...she continued to just get plain rude...other than hem they didn't do any actual alterations...until the last week...and they were horrible...she finally took in the bust but made it too tight. Then sewed up the sides of the hips so much then I was actually afraid to bust a seam and the pleating didn't match...she ended up chopping it down to a size 4....I was so unhappy with how it looked I had to race out the tuesday before my wedding and find another dress. Thank god for David's Bridal - they had a beautiful dress ready for me in 3 days....I went back to nancy and said look I had to get another dress because this is horrible looking. I'll pay for your wholesale cost of the dress just give me back the remainder, you can keep the dress. Not even surprised, she didn't ask what happen or say sorry, just NO. You don't get money back...I buy right size for you. HORRIBLE. Don't go here.

2000 Dreams is the store you come to to find the perfect dress for you! The staff here is brutally honest, and will tell you when something doesn't look right, but they are also excellent at listening to your style and assessing your body type and helping you find what will look great on you.
Pros:
Large selection of a variety of designers at fantastic prices
Honest staff - they aren't going to tell you something looks good just to sell you a dress
AMAZING PRICING ON ALTERATIONS! - My dress just required a bit of padding and bustling, and it was included in the price of the dress, something that would have been hundreds someplace else.
PRICE - I purchased a Maggie Sotterro here, and priced it out at several stores, and 2000 Dreams was several hundred dollars less, and that was before alterations.
Cons:
There is no perfect lighting, leather couches, soft music and champagne here. What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in selection and value. So come here once you are ready to buy.
As I said in pros, the staff is brutally honest. To some this may be a turn off. I am someone who appreciates someone telling me when I don't look my best. If you are only looking to be flattered, this probably isn't the place for you.
Nancy was nothing but helpful, honest and great to work with in purchasing my dress. I saved hundreds of dollars getting my dress and veil...

My bridesmaids purchased their dresses here. I found the best deal for the dress, and also the location was halfway between where all the girls lived, so it was more convenient. At times the staff here was a little rude or unprofessional or even sometimes didn't seem to know what they were doing, but not a big deal in the end. The dresses arrived on time and all without a problem. The only thing is that the alterations were a bit overpriced but that seems to be about the norm for bridal stores. If given a choice I probably would come again.

I bought my two bridesmaids' dresses here. They had a good size of selection. The price of the dresses was very reasonable. They also did tux rental. After comparing their price with men's warehouse, we decided to go for 2000 Dream Bridal. They offered almost the same selection at a lower rental price.

I had a fine experience with 2000 Dreams Bridal. I had a terrible experience trying to find a dress. It wasn't a fun experience for me and when I went to their store I was very frustrated. All the women were extremely helpful with bringing out many options in my price range. They were very flexible. I made my initial appointment and then called later that day to ask if I could come back to try on a couple of the dresses that I like with my Mom the next day and they were very accommodating. Everything about their store was really a fine experience. Is this a high end salon no but are you getting a great deal on the same dresses from those high end salons absolutely! The women are not shy and some other reviews that I had seen people complained that they were slightly too aggressive for them, really you just have to go in know that they're that way and be prepared. The only reason I gave them 3 stars on their "Value for Cost" is because they rip the labels out of their dresses. I can't stand that, stand by your prices and your product and don't be afraid to lose a customer. They also won't tell you what the designer of a dress is, which in some cases is pretty easy to figure out but others not so much.
For me in the end I found a salon much closer to home that was able to get the dress for about $50 cheaper so I went that route. I think I could have haggled with them to get them to lower the price but I didn't want to drive all the way back out there just to pick it up.

I tried on a few Pronovia wedding dresses from here. I went to Dream 2000 twice. Their prices are very competitive. If you are looking for a great customer service and do not want any pushy services then this is not the right place. If you know exactly what dress you want and they carry it, the price are reasonable since they are very competitive. I didn't ended up buying a dress from them since the dress I ordered they don't carry.

What can I say, except I love my wedding dress so much! It was definitely love at first site and I'm so glad 2000 Dreams Bridal carried it. The service here was really good. Both Naomi and the guy boss were really helpful. Although I would probably skip the alteration here.

The ladies at 2000 Dreams Bridal were really helpful in finding a beautiful, high quality wedding dress for me that fit my budget. They included all the alterations and dry cleaning in the price and did a FANTASTIC job at all the detailing, including making sure every single bead was in place. The worked with me patiently to find the right dress and I am very happy that I came to them. I had shopped around at several other bridal shops on the same street, but 2000 Dreams Bridal I believe has the best dresses for the best price. You can probably find a similar looking dress at another store, but it might not be as high quality or it will be much more expensive than 2000 Dreams Bridal.

I went to this place based on my maid-of-honor's recommendation. I literally found my dress and the bridesmaids' in about an hour at this place! I had a tough time choosing between two of the wedding gowns off-the-rack, but then I remembered my maid-of-honor's timely advice: "If you don't love it, then don't buy it!" This is a great place if you are looking to save big $$$ on your dress. My favorite part of the deal was the free steam pressing, veil, and tiara (which I did not end up using, but it was good to have a back-up just in case!) They also loaned me a petticoat free-of-charge and added a nice finishing touch to the veil that matched my dress perfectly (totally unexpected)! Like a few of the customers mentioned, the customer service is no-frills, and Nancy (once you seal-the-deal) will treat you like a princess when you go back for your fittings!

I might not have the best customer service experience here on the first day but when i got more acquainted with Nancy - she is very sweet. If you are not used to the Asian pushy customer service type then this might not be the place for you BUT if you are looking for a place that won't rip you off esp. in nice bridal shops then here is the place you should check out if you have a brand and style # in mind then check with Nancy - she pretty much order most of the popular brands for you and her service is quick and she takes really good care of you if you buy or order from her. Her staff might be a lil pushy but you can find that in some nicer bridal shops too. I love Nancy and she gave me free veil (customized towards what i wanted) which usually starts at $150. Well i'm only going to wear it for 20 mins anyway but the veil she made me was very nice and perfect length. I did not find a dress a like off her rack BUT the dress i ended up ordering from her by Maggie Sottero was really nice!! She did a great job hemming it as well and the alteration charges was realy cheap. She even did a great job alterating my Matron of Honor's dress by Amsale. I love Nancy so much that I referred most of my engaged friends there and they all end up happy with their dresses and orders. Definitely would recommend Nancy if you are looking for ordering a dress since she would save you couple hundred bucks and extra savings on alterations and a nice veil!!Oh and tiara too but i didnt wear mine. Overall i had a good experience and everything was reasonable. i wasn't planning to spend alot on my wedding dress but with Nancy i had extra money to buy a nice evening gown from BCBG to wear after my wedding dress.

I had all of my bridesmaids purchase their dresses from this shop. As the other review stated, this is definitely a no-frills shop. However, going to this store saved each of my girls almost $100. I had picked out a Bill Levkoff dress that I absolutely loved and other shops wanted close to $300 for it. I even had one store tell me that it was their private line and not a Bill Levkoff which was completely false.
This shop only charged $160 for the dress and it came in very quickly. This is definitely the place to go if you have picked out a dress but dont want to spend a fortune.

This is a Chinese run no frills bridal shop. However, if you're on a budget, then I would suggest to check out this place. For bridal gowns, this place carries no-name brands, Maggie Sottero, and Pronovias. At first, I was going looking at a dress that costs around $3,500, but then some common sense came to me. I'm only going to be wearing this dress for several hours, and I'm not getting anything that is unconventional. True, it is the one dress that you will be making your biggest commitment in, but you will never wear it ever again! Most bridal gowns are made of synthetic materials as well. So, if your dress is not unconventional, then you could probably find something within your budget at this place. The service here is mediocre, but remember, this is a no frills shop. I would highly suggest that you only deal with the owner Nancy, as she is the nicest and most knowledgeable. I ended up getting a Pronovias dress here. I saved over $800 compared to other bridal stores that carried the same gown. And, you can negotiate. This store is a legitimate dealer for Pronovias according to the Pronovias website. This place has dresses ranging from a couple hundred dollars up to probably around $1200. Remember, a no frills store, so don't be shocked by the lack of decor on the outside and inside. They also do alterations. Their prices are good, but their alterations are only so-so. Oh, and one last thing, I went to Mary Linns Bridal store in Pasadena and they are complete snobs there. So, there was no way that I was going to give them my business.

I ordered my dress here because they offered the best deal. However, they ordered a dress that was too tight- I had to pay for alterations to get it enlarged- and then it ended up slightly too loose. I worried the entire day that the dress would fall down and a friend had to make an emergency run to get double sided tape.

Extremely poor customer service, was not happy.
Although they did have quality camera work.

The original price for the dresses was fine, but they nickel and dimed my bridesmaids on the alterations. Always wanted to upsell..shoes, purses, tuxes, etc. Plus, they had a very poor customer service attitude. They see a wallet - not a bride. Would not use them again.
