Our CIR Dance was successful! DJ Lou was professional, organized, and really knew how to engage our group of participants in an evening of FUN!!

I was very impressed with the high level of service i received. All of my guests and ALL OF MY VENDORS were asking for his contact info. He made sure that all of my vendors were on the same page and that my photographer and videographer were informed ahead of time so that they could be in position to get "the shot" that they needed. He was very professional and a TON of fun. He kept people on the floor dancing till the VERY LAST SONG! We were sad for it to end. If we had more time at the venue we would have kept going all night long.

I had seen this dj at a wedding that I had worked, I just knew I wanted them for my wedding! I was very happy with the quickness of responces to any and all of my question. I like how personable the dj was, that was one of my number one reasons that I wanted them to dj my wedding. I would recomend Mid Michigan DJ's to other brides!

Your services just could not have been better. What originally sold us on your company was that at the bridal show your booth seemed to be having alot of fun and that's what we wanted. We heard great things about Mid Michigan DJs, and had even been to a great reception where Mid Michigan DJs was the vendor. Our experience, however, was a bit different.

If I had seen the level of professionalism displayed by emails, I would have chosen another company (no formal introduction, no punctuation, no capitalization... basically in text-message format...my wife and her mother were handling that). About a month before the wedding we were informed that due to a circumstance our DJ was being changed.
I was then sent a confirmation email telling me we would be sent a "finalized event timeline" to review... two days after my reception was scheduled to take place. I emailed inform him of this mistake and a finalized timeline is never sent. I also emailed to fix a mistake we had made, to which I was told the information would be sent to the DJ. That information was never passed along and we had to correct it right before the reception.

Our "new" DJ treated our guests respectfully and, in general, did a good job of keeping everybody entertained. Our issue with his service is that he did not play what we had requested him to play according to the form (provided by Mid Michigan DJs) that we filled out and sent back to Mid Michigan DJs: We asked for reggae to be played during dinner; he played Jazz including Kenny G (I hate Kenny G). When I had someone ask him to change it, he said he would "get it as soon as he could." We then stood there and watched him stand there. When he was done looking around, he went to his booth and changed it to some slow country song (I hate country more than Kenny G, if that's possible). We then asked him to change it again. This time it was some jazz, without Kenny G's annoying saxophone. Still not reggae, but acceptable.

He got the bridal party dances correct, with the exception of the groom and mother dance, which was initially the wrong song, and then took a few minutes of awkward silence to find the right one.

My wife is a teacher, so I wanted Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher" as the garter toss song. We got "Oh Yeah" from Ferris Bueller. The bride tossed her bouquet to Beyonce's "Single Ladies," which is not what she requested (and extremely played-out). The last song was to be "Mandy" by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes (Barry Manilow cover)", we got Green Day's "Good Riddance(Time of Your Life)".

It seems as if he wrote down the songs for the bridal party dances and then decided to "wing it." In a somewhat fitting side-note, we did find his receipt for 20 boneless wings from Wing Stop on the floor, along with the form we filled out listing our song requests.

If this was not my wedding, I probably would have had a good time. Had we not spent weeks choosing music and filling out a form "on-time" we may not have been as surprised; however, with the amount of money Mid Michigan DJs charges for your event, you would expect your requests to be honored, right?

In summation, I would suggest that you don't just trust the ratings of others or trust others to relay information, even within their own company... set up a personal meeting with your DJ about a month before the event so that you can personally stress your opinions and ideas... doing things through "on-line" communication has seemed to become less professional and more of a let down.

They were amazing! The staff was so helpful and friendly they were practically family. I couldn't imagine my wedding day with out them, they helped make it perfect! Thank you mmdj's.

Mid Michigan DJ's with Joel Gresham and 321 Say Cheese Photo Booth is a win win when booking either or both for your wedding reception, business, or family event. This is a very professionally run organization with a quality staff. We had both at our reception recently and the schedule was well timed throughout the evening, and enjoyed by all. I would hire them again.

*This review is specifically in reference to working with Joel, the owner of Mid Michigan DJs, as we worked directly with him (he was the DJ at our wedding). I am sure that he keeps his standards as high with his employees as his are.

While looking for DJs in the Jackson area, my wife and I narrowed our decision down to two DJ companies, Mid Michigan being one of them. What helped make our decision was being able to meet with Joel in person, so we were able to discuss our ideas and concerns. Joel, willingly, took the time (he also has a day job on top of running his business) to explain all the services he offered. He worked with our ideas and schedule/timeline to ensure that we received everything needed on the day of our wedding. One service that we thoroughly enjoyed was the digital montage (slideshow with music) that his company created for us.

We are extremely happy that we decided to go with Mid Michigan DJs as our music selection. He was prompt, attentive to details, and professional. By the time the reception started, he was able to take a lot of the pressure off us by working off the timeline we had, previously, discussed. Overall, he was a hit with all of our friends and family. We definitely would recommend working with his company, Mid Michigan DJs, to anyone for their wedding or party.

This company was amazing from the get go. They have this awesome website for all of you planning and music choices. It gives you a timeline and a place to submit any questins you have, all of your VIPs and any special requests you had. It was so nice to know that he would already have all of this information and be prepared for the receptiona and ceremony. He never had to ask me a single question of what to do or what I would like the day of because he was so prepared. All we had to do was have a great time dancing! I couldn't have asked for a better DJ or entertainer for my big day.

Joel was awesome! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night long, and catered the song selections to match the venue, our tastes and the guests preferences. It was a perfect balence, and so much fun! We also used hi uplighting services, and it made the barn look so beautiful!!

I really liked how the DJ that we had kept the party going and stuck with the schedule that we gave him ahead of time. Also this company is very flexible and accommodating. However a couple of big things were messed up. First off they messed up our entrance. The DJ asked us how we wanted to be introduced, and we said we wanted to be introduced as Mr. and Mrs. and then only our last name. He changed it and Introduced us as Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel ___________. Which would have been okay but my husbands name is Nathan. He also pronounced our last name wrong, after he already knew what the correct pronounciation is. Our last name is not hard at all. Other than that mess up we had a lot of fun.

The photobooth at our wedding was a huge hit! The attendant was very helpful to all of our guests. I feel like we got a good deal for the price we paid. I was very happy with the service.

The photo suite was a huge hit at our wedding and we ended up with a scrapbook we will cherish for years to come! The photo attendants were fun and encouraging and really got the guest into the experience. While the cost was slightly higher than some other photobooth vendors for the same amount of time the finished product was well worth it.

321 Say Cheese provided the photo booth at my wedding and I can't even tell you how big of a hit it was! It was a great unique way to had to our wedding and the pictures make for some great memories! We even got a scrapbook where people signed next to their strip of pictures! We didn't look at the book till we got on the plane for our honeymoon and it made us cry and laugh! It is such a great piece to have, that not a lot of other people get to say they got from their wedding. The people running the booth we're amazing and I couldn't have asked for better people to be running the booth!

You two rock! Your professionalism and attitude was totally outstanding. I really can’t express how much everyone loved your services. Christina, had the patience of a saint and Joel, was rocking it all night. I had all my family and friends there and I just wanted to hang out with the two of them. The company was great, the photo booth was just a great option at my wedding. The pictures were hilarious, the props they brought were funny. Also I received a photo album that everyone signed plus my guest got a copy of there pictures. Thats not all we also received a flash drive with all the pictures as well. Wonderful people to work with. Mike our DJ was great he played every song we requested. Great sense of humor. Didnt mess up anyones name. He stayed later than orginally planned. It was great. Can't wait to havw them back for another party!!

Wish I would have had this at my wedding last year. Went to my cousin's wedding and the photo booth was there and it was great! Soooooo much fun and definitely woth the money!

We attended a Summer Party / Dance through the Department on Aging in Jackson (Crouch Center) We had so much fun. Everyone seemed so happy to play. The person running the booth was super nice and very helpful. I plan to use them for my grand daughter's Sweet 16 birthday Party
