This place is excellent. I picked it because I did not want to have boring food at my wedding. So when I saw the menu I was excited. No chicken or roast beef here. The have a very elegant menu. With things like duck and shrimp, they also had a few great vegetarian meals. I had a small/medium wedding and everybody loved to pick their individual plates.

We looked at many caterers for our wedding and 42 blew everyone out of the water! They worked with us and what we wanted, rather than what other vendors provide which is one menu you select from. All of the food was new and innovative, yet not stuffy. Lastly, their pricing model was much better than any others we saw from similar vendors. My husband and I love really good food and really wanted to avoid typical reception fare. 42 delivered!

By far the BEST food I have ever eaten... I was amazed by the quality of the food with 200 guests. Everything was fresh and none of the guests had to wait long for their food to come out. The staff at 42 was amazing. They were all so helpful and knowledgeable and made the day run so smoothly. Every detail was absolutely perfect!!

Dani Johnson provided excellent customer service throughout our wedding planning process. She arranged for our first meeting to be at our venue, and I know that she contacted the vendor on her own several times later to work out logistics. We really appreciated that. The chef was very flexible with our menu. The food was EXCELLENT and our guests raved about it all weekend! Many people have even mentioned that they are still craving it almost a week later! The service during our reception was also great--someone was always around when needed, but staff was very discreet and behind-the-scenes. We genuinely enjoyed our experience with this vendor!

I can't say enough good about Chef Frederick and his team. I was planning my wedding long distance and despite time zone differences, I always got a timely reply to my questions and concerns. He was more than willing to work within my budget and gave many tasty menu options. Moreover, due to my husband's deployment, I had to change my date by a day only 6 weeks before our original date. Not a problem for Chef Frederick, who graciously accommodated the last minute change in date AND venue. The day of the wedding went incredibly smoothly, even when I had a bride-zilla moment and asked for the bar to be moved 30 minutes before the reception started! It was moved, no hesitation or questions asked. I received many, many compliments on the food, from guests of all ages, including those working in the food industry, who greatly enjoyed the meal. I also received a ton of compliments on the friendly and professional service. Thanks to the great catering team, the evening went off without a hitch and I could enjoy the reception without worry. I would recommend 42 degree catering in a heartbeat.

42 Degree was excellent! They offered unique dishes that were very tasty (one of my guests admitted to stalking the servers throughout the night because the food was so good!) Dani was superb to work with. She was extremely responsive, recommended a great DJ and was both friendly and knowledgeable. My only regret was not eating enough!!

We got tons of great compliments on the food...it was great! They were also very flexible when dealing with our budget. Only two minor things that I really did not like:1. They did not use both sides of the buffet table at the reception so it took some people WAY too long to eat. I'm sure they just thought that the nearby tables would've been too crowded, but I think people would've preferred that as opposed to waiting over an hour to get up to the line.2. Apparently no one checked with our coordinator as far as which tables our parents were at. They were right next to our table, but got passed over until about the 7th or 8th table to eat. Not horrible, but I just figured that was a given.

We absolutely lucked out with 42 Degrees catering service. Dani is a delight to work with, and Frederick's food was amazing. Our guests had plates spilling over with food and were raving about the dishes. The waitstaff was very attentive, and Sebastien made sure that Larry and I were fed - he brought us full plates, and was very friendly. The bar service was simply satisfactory, but we are a hard crowd to please in that area (many of our guests were professional bartenders). Many many thanks to the team! Dani, especially, really seemed to understand our vibe and did a fantastic job fitting all the pieces together and making our event just right!

Everyone at my wedding RAVED about how delicious the food was!! We were really happy with it as well, the salmon was perfect, not dry at all, the roast beef was juicy and succulent, and everything else was wonderful. They were good to listen to our suggestions, but I wish I had more than just one official tasting... After that one tasting, I made alterations to the menu that were basically mostly new items, and I didn't get a chance to sample them beforehand... but luckily everything was delicious and I still got compliments afterwards! They also provided sangria for an additional cost, which was okay, not amazing... the cost wasn't the absolute best, but still pretty good. All in all a great vendor! :)

I wouldn't do it again!! The presentation is beautiful but the food was cold and the day of menu was slightly altered from the tasting menu. First, the tasting went perfectly. So well we didn't do a tasting anywhere else. The food there was wonderful. However, at the reception the salad looked different from the tasting and the pictures they gave us. The heads weren't on the shrimp (for presentation) like we talked about. The chicken was dry to me and the salad tasted as if they put french dressing drizzle on the plate and I HATE FRENCH DRESSING!!! We wanted to greet our guest because we wanted the reception to run smoothly giving everyone enough time to enjoy themselves. We asked the waiters not to wait for us to sit back down after greeting guest. Instead, we would follow their lead and sit when dinner was ready to be served and finish greeting guest after that course. But they didn't listen and waited until the food was cold. Dani is an absolute DOLL. She's wonderful to work with but things just didn't turn out like we had hoped. Oh and we saw a waiter help himself to the left over apple cider from the toast after barely filling our glasses half way.
