Let me first say that there is no venue like Seven Senses in Dallas. It is unbelivably beautiful, fun and saves you all kinds of money since you don't need any decorations, lighting, linens or anything. It is really easy as you just have to call the caterer and you are done. Everyone commented on how cool our venue was! The biggest draw back is the man who runs the place as he is a bit unresponsive, disorganized and rude at times. You don't have a "hand holding" experience that you would at a hotel or another venue that specializes in weddings. The owner seemed to have a few words with both the photographer and my dad throughout our planning process. My advice to anyone who is looking at the venue is to have a planner (I didn't.) They will ensure that you don't have to deal with the owner directly and will help with setting personal items up at the venue. They don't go out of their way to place the favors or anything else out there for you.
