David was the absolute best DJ we could have asked for to make our special day perfect. He talked with us several times and helped construct the perfect musical atmosphere for our ceremony and reception! I even requested to play a game he had not heard of before and instead of being apprehensive he did extensive research and made it even better than I had imagined. And through it all he was great with all the guests as well as accomadating to me and my mom (the wedding dictator). I would recommend him over all the big names out there, several we met with or saw at other weddings were underwhelming and not nearly as on par as David. I want to thank David for helping to make this day very special for my daughter. He was so easy to work with and always available whenever I had a question. He never got frustrated and was always very professional. When planning a wedding, there are so many choices you make and you wonder if they are the right ones. From the moment we decided David was going to be our DJ, I was totally at peace with the decision. I didn't worry at any time whether or not he was going to do a great job. I would definitely hire him in the future and encourage future brides to do so as well. He is great at reading a crowd and got the hesitant dancers at my wedding up and moving the whole night! He also worked with me very closely to make sure that all of my music preferences were met. Everything from the ceremony music to the reception dance music occurred naturally and smoothly and many of my guests have since told me how much they enjoyed the music and dancing.

I am so pleased with this service. David did such a great job at our wedding. He worked with us to create exactly what we wanted, and was very professional. So affordable and well worth every penny!

We cannot begin to describe how wonderful David is! Just to start, he created an amazing slideshow and video of our reception without our knowing and in doing so preserved memories that otherwise would not have been documented. He also created an over the top light show that our wedding guests are still talking about. He was hilarious and we could not have asked more a more courteous/outgoing personality to emcee our big night. He met with me multiple times before the wedding to talk about the flow of the evening and the music choices. He played what we were hoping for and did a great job reading the crowd when selecting songs. To not choose David as your DJ would be a terrible mistake! David is the best! From start to finish, our experience with him was excellent, and he was one of our favorite vendors to work with. Unlike some vendors we tried to reach, David always answered his phone and answered emails quickly. We live out in California, and he actually made time to meet with us while he was out here on a family vacation. Amazing! He gave us great advice, created excellent playlists of the music selections we gave him (including an awesome mash-up of Lady Gaga and Journey!), and handled everything with the ultimate kindness and professionalism. Our wedding reception was spectacular, and we have him to thank for it! We would extremely highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fantastic dj!

David had a great feel for the "mood" of the party and was able to respond and sustain the entertainment factor continuously throughout the night. Also pleasing was that the quality of the sound from his system/equipment and the ambience he created with the lighting effects was excellent. We could not have asked for better. I have been to many weddings that fell "flat" for one reason or another but David was a huge factor in creating a truly amazingly-memorable evening for all.

Mr. Pickett is a professional in every sense of the word. He knows music and is a master at creating a "mood". We can't thank him enough for the memories he helped to create within our wedding reception. I wish I could do it all over again!

Not only did the DJ have a playlist for us to pick songs but we were able to add songs for him to download to play. He played everything we wanted and even stayed an extra hour when we decided we hadn't had enough dancing!

David Pickett and I have been friends since college. He began DJ'ing long before me and when I decided to start my DJ'ing no one was happier or more eager to give me advice than Dave. His knowledge has helped me turn my DJ hobby into my DJ full-time job. We are constantly bouncing idea's about our business off of each other in an attempt to make us both as good as we can be.
