What religious affiliations do you serve?
Buddhist, Christian (no denomination), Christian - Catholic, Hindu, Islam, Jewish, Muslim
Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
Yes
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
YES! Many couples are choosing creative locations at the shore, in parks or gardens as well as banquet halls, restaurants and chapels. I am happy to serve you in the location of your choice.
What is your attire for the ceremony?
I usually wear a white suit with an Interfaith Stole, but I also have worn a clerical robe upon request. I once did an "all pajama" wedding! (Ask about it -- it's actually a touching story!)
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
Absolutely. I work closely with each couple to determine their personal style and wishes. I want to give you a ceremony that reflects your authentic feelings.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
I allow the couple to write their own vows and provide helpful work sheets to assist in giving you great ideas.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
I offer several readings and am happy to have a couple choose anything of their own. My list is simply to save them time searching for the perfect reading.
How long are your ceremonies?
I always ask the couple what their preference is. Most venues have a half hour time allotment, and most couples request the ceremony to be shorter than this.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
I do not require counseling. If there are sensitive issues I need to be aware of for the wedding day, such are divorced families or strained relationships, I want to be prepared to help you have the best wedding day possible.
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
A rehearsal on the day of the ceremony is included in my fee. A rehearsal on another day is slightly extra.
Do you supply a sound system?
Not at this time.
