Reviews for A.C. Moore
Anything your little ol' heart desires from planning, to decorating, to DIY creations. AC Moore has it, and all at a reasonable price.
We bought our do it yourself invitations here, and they were very easy to assemble. They were also gorgeous. We got several compliments!
I was not too impressed with the selection or helpfullness of the staff. They barely have a bridal aisle and looked at me like an idiot any time I ask a question.
We practically got EVERYTHING from A.C. Moore. We went to the store in Orlando (apparently before it closed), and we must have been in there for at least 2 hours each time we went. We got all of our vases and candles there, the flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, supplies and anything and everything else that we used for our wedding. We printed the weekly coupons from online and were able to save a lot of money too! So sad though that the Orlando store is no longer there as I actually prefer AC Moore over Michaels...
Ordered tables decorations. Good variety. More for the money than Michael's Crafts. Generally good customer service and they even let us use a coupon on the lot as a whole.
I'm sure everyone knows about A.C. Moore. It's your local craft store and much more! I was definitely a do-it-yourself bride. I made my own centerpieces, my own bouquets, ALL of my stationary, and my favors. I was able to purchase most of the things I needed at A.C. Moore like invitations, place cards, save the date cards, glassware for my centerpieces, and a whole bunch of other miscellaneous items that were much better priced than other bridal stores.
Want a cheap way to make invitations? Just get a little card stock from AC Moore (or anywhere for that matter, although I found the largest selection of colors here) and create your own! All you need is a printer, ink, and a cheap card-making program, add a little imagination, and POOF, you can save a TON of money by spending an hour or 2. AC Moore is also good to find stamps for making thank-you notes.
If you are looking for a great place to get wedding favors that you can make yourself then this is the place to go! Selection varies from time to time but the items are of high quality and reasonably priced. They offer frequent sales and if the items are not on sale at the time you go you can take in a store coupon or competitors coupon to use on one of your items. When we got married we bought little glass bottles with cork tops on them. We were able to buy all the supplies we wanted at one store to fill them. We choose sand and mini colored seashells to fit with our wedding theme. The rest of what we needed was in the glass bottle kit. It included thin white ribbon and labels that you can print out on your computer. The even sell other wedding supplies. They have flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows, veils, guest books and champagne flutes. You can also get wonderful ideas and items for bridal showers. If you are a do it yourselfer and want to personalize your wedding a little more then this is one of the first places I suggest checking out.
I made my own center pieces and arrangements thanks to this store! Everything I needed flower oriented, They had. Used coupons each time and saved a ton!
Great for small do it yourself projects. Also, they have lots of great coupons. We got all of the bubbles for our big exit all for 50% off using weekly coupons. Now considering getting invitations there too.
This is a great store to buy embellishments & ribbons.
I was able to purchase everything I needed to put together the engagement announcements for a low price and the look professional.
AC Moore is excellent, if you're looking to do things yourself. We did our centerpieces, all the flowers, did the glass etchings on our champagne flutes, and so much more! They have everything you need! AND if you receive their weekly listings, there is usually a 40 or 50% coupon (off one item) in it! They're all about saving money! Oh, and they match competitors coupons too. It's just an all around excellent store. In particular, the AC Moore in Whitehall PA. Joan was the best help anyone could get!
