A CHARLESTON WEDDING

Our DJ was a bit of a disappointment, we really just expected the basics and did not prepare with him ahead of time. He didn't contact us until the week of and we were too busy to drop everything and work with him. We expected he would run the ceremony according to the program and the reception music as usual after the meal. So our only expectation was for the microphone on the beach at the ceremony to reach the middle of the Chuppah. It did not. We had to scream our vows to each other so guests could hear. With almost no expectations at all we really were disappointed when the microphones set up for the soloist and the officiant wouldn't reach us in the Chuppah causing the officiant to have to stand outside in front of the Chuppah for the entire ceremony. It was an uncomfortable and odd oversight for us that we did not expect to have to be concerned about. Also we chose a father daughter dance song that was used in the ceremony earlier, but it took the DJ 20 -30 minutes to get it set up to play. We had to stand and wait for him to fumble with his equipment to work to play the song. While he was pleasant and on time, he did not meet our expectations and we couldn't recommend.

AWESOME! Our wedding was outside in SC in June and it was HOT. The officiant kept the ceremony SUPER short so we were able to get everyone under the tent and out of the sun!

We used this company for the Officiant, DJ, and Photographer. It was great since we do not live in the area. All of them were great and they work as a team. They even helped moved our chairs 2 times due to the rain. They were able to get me a great photographer on short notice for an amazing price. I received the photos within 2 weeks on CD just as I had wanted. We were given 900 photos. He did a good job dispite the rain.

I have never seen such fabulous and personable photographers at any event. I haven't even recieved my pictures yet, I was just married yesterday, but I know that they will so beautiful. David was so much fun to work with, and was really in tune to what I had in mind for my perfect day. They went well beyond my expectations, and I can't say enough good things!!! Perfect!!! Thank you so much for capturing all my memories!!

I really liked the photographers that worked our wedding, but out of a few hundred pictures, I still haven't found that one fantastic shot of us. Our wedding video was pretty good - more fun to look back on the event than incredible videography and editing. Definitely make a list of shots you want to be sure your photographers get, and designate a bridesmaid to be in charge of finding family members and friends needed for the next group photo. The photos after the ceremony go too fast for you to remember every picture you want!

We had a wonderful wedding which was captured perfectly by Hal. Our pictures are beautiful and thanks to A Charleston Wedding, we will remember our fabulous day forever!
