I should have called Kate in the beginning but I thought a wedding planner was way too expensive. I was so wrong. I called her frantic just days before my wedding and she literally stepped in, organized everything requiring last minute and coordinated the entire bridal party and rehearsal. A bride has no idea how much detail is required. We had around 140 guests and 11 people in the bridal party. Kate was perfect, my husband and I were completely impressed!! If you are considering a planner, just call her.

Kate Arel has been my rock for the last year - whether she realized it or not! When I first reached out to Kate to discuss being my "Day-Of Coordinator" I thought she would be just that - maybe talk some logistics a few weeks before the shin dig and then she would show up and just make sure things went smoothly. Well she did all that and more! As organized as I claim to be, I knew having someone available to coordinate amongst other vendors the day of the wedding would be instrumental in keeping me, my mother, and my MOH sane. Kate was with me almost every step of they way to help me make sure I had thought of every aspect and took the time to reach out to all of my vendors beforehand. She even MC'd the wedding party entrance! Kate - you went above and beyond and we can't thank you enough!

Kate with A Charmed Affair was fabulous. She was very detail oriented, and helped us every single step of the way. Honestly Kate made our wedding a memorable/wonderful experience! I would highly recommend Kate to anyone who is thinking of having a wedding, party or business event!!! She is honestly the most professional person I have met in this "wedding business". Kate is extremely organized, detail oriented and hard working. Kate always listened to what we wanted and what we envisioned our day to be.. I could honestly go on and on after how great our wedding was all because of Kate!

A full or partial service event planning company, A Charmed Affair was born out of my excitement to celebrate life, to celebrate events, and to celebrate you! I an current IEWP (International Event and Wedding Planner) certified, a certification recognized through ABC (The Association of Bridal Consultants) as well as AFWPI (The Association for Wedding Professionals International). I have been planning events for the past ten years or so, focussing strongly on creating an overall magical day, and developing a warm, inviting environment to both the guest(s) of honor and all attendees.
