I worked with Cheryl from A Cultured Event and she was fabulous- Cheryl is fun, outgoing, organized, and creative. She kept in contact with all of my vendors to make sure everything would run smoothly for our wedding, and it was perfect! She has great ideas and is alot of fun!

Cheryl Fields, Owner & Creative Designer -
In 2002, I attended The Art Institute of California in my hometown - San Diego. My main focus was to follow my passion for food & cooking and become a chef. I received my Associates Degree in Culinary Arts in 2004. Since then I have worked as a professional within the hospitality industry.
Within the years I have been fortunate to cater with great people & clients, which has lead me to create a part-time catering business with a close friend and fellow chef. During these events I would often find myself 'designing' the layout of the event, offering assistance to the host, and taking lead in coordination. This is where I realized my knack & love for designing and planning events.
Not long after I realized this is my 'calling', I was well into planning my own wedding. The theory was to create a fabulous event design company that wasn't cookie cutter and had the look & feel of 'high-end' but within realistic budgets. The idea of what soon became 'A Cultured Event' was the understanding that every event needs a little creative assistance. My expertise is to be inspired by my client's desire & personality and create a unique event that embraces who they are.
