Barra was extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process. She would regularly check in with me to make sure I was on track with my planning and was an indispensable liaison between us and the venue. On the day of the wedding, I was able to relax and fully enjoy the day knowing Barra and her assistants were competent and shared my vision for the wedding. Everyone says you should hire a planner for at least the day of the wedding and I would definitely agree! I never had to worry about vendors knowing where to go or deal with any of the hiccups that occurred. I would highly recommend A Day Remembered. Barra is extremely professional, detail oriented and creative, a great combination for a wedding planner!

Where can I begin with just how wonderful Barra is.
She is just a great wedding planner. She was there
for me every step of the way. I had my DREAM Wedding thanks
to her. Everything was perfect. If she would not have been
right there by my side I just don't know what I would have done.
She is so caring and creative. She really listens and takes care of all your needs.

Barra was a great wedding planner. She helped with anything i needed any questions i had. I also felt good about calling her all the time and i new she would do whatever she could to help me. She made the wedding come together and it was wonderful.

A Day Remembered was the best! They transformed our backyard into the most quaint, intimate place for our wedding. It didn't seem like there were over 150 guests there, it was so cozy. Barra was the funniest, organized planner ever. I would reccomend them to every bride.

What types of weddings do you accommodate?

Day-of Coordinator, Full Planning, Partial Planning

How many planners do you work with?

I bring assistants with me if needed. The number of how many depend on the size of the wedding and/or the logistical technicality of the wedding or reception. For example: a guest list of 100 but the bride arrives from a different direction on a horse and carriage while the attendants walk down a flight of stairs on the opposite side warrants some additional assistants. Where as a wedding of 300 with a traditional church ceremony and uncomplicated reception needs just the planner.

What style of wedding do you specialize in planning?

My style is your style! If you want to somersault down the aisle I will teach you how to do it gracefully and to music if you want. I am now offering "Green" and Natural weddings. I love the beauty the outdoors brings to a wedding.

Additional Advice

What can I expect, in regards to service, from you?
I interact with clients with humor and lightheartedness, so we will do a lot of laughing. I will provide as much or as little guidance and planning as you desire. I will work with your vendors to make sure you are getting what you have paid for and to direct them in the whole picture of the day, so that all vendors are working together well. This, however, is your wedding and I will not insist on any of my ideas. I will take your ideas and look them over with a careful eye and offer suggestions if needed to make sure your wedding is the beautiful and well orchestrated day you have dreamed of.
