My fiancé and I met with several wedding coordinators prior to hiring Natalie and within five minutes of our first meeting with her we knew Natalie was the best person for the job. Throughout the entire planning process Natalie was on point and no detail was overlooked. Natalie is extremely patient and makes you feel like you are never bothering her even when you are ;-) As a groom I figured my input didn’t matter much but I was wrong, Natalie made sure to include me in the decision making process as well. The day of our wedding was stress free because Natalie and Jen took care of everything as promised. I remember Jen coming up to us throughout the night to see if we needed anything all. What can we say about Natalie good and "A Good Affair." From the first day we met her, we had no idea or clue that planning a wedding could be such a headache but Natalie assured us right away that we did not need to worry, and to trust her. To us, trust is a very big word that is very hard to earn but we decided to give Natalie and her team pretty much full control of wedding. From setting up meetings with her vendors to helping us choose the right vendor and facility to host our wedding, Natalie made each step a breeze. I recall a conversation that my fiance and I had at the time. She turns to me and goes "I'm worried, we haven't really done anything for the wedding." I replied back to her and said "I think that's the whole goal of having such a great wedding planner, we don't see everything or need to worry about things because she's handling everything."

I am sooo happy I took a risk last minute and went with Natalie!
My husband and I set an initial budget at the beginning of our planning process. However, due to a series of unfortunate events we had to cut back significantly a few months before the wedding. We could not afford Disney to do our floral and decor anymore, so we contacted the first person on their vendor list, which was Natalie Good at A Good Affair!
Our initial meeting with Natalie went great. I gave her pictures of what I liked and what I wanted, and I instantly felt that she understood my vision and more importantly, had impeccable taste.
We almost had to split our budget in half, but Natalie STILL made our wedding literally look like a million bucks. It exceeded my expectations. The reception looked like a wedding you'd see on a wedding television show! I was blown away at how beautiful everything was.
She pulled everything together in less than four months and made it look absolutely phenomenal. She took care of issues the day of promptly and efficiently, and I felt like she was on top of everything and I didn't have to worry about much the days leading up to the wedding.

Hello Future Brides of Wedding Wire!!! Natalie Good is a GODDESS when it comes to all things wedding. My (new) husband and I came to her completely overwhelmed by the idea of a wedding. We had no clue what we wanted to do, small and simple, courthouse, destination, etc. We had looked at some local OC venues and were just not feeling any of it. I found Natalie through a google search in which her website said, "Are you feeling overwhelmed by your wedding?" And yes, yes I was.
Natalie was the answer to all of our wedding woes. She found us our venue, got us great prices on numerous vendors, did our floral and decor design and basically kept us on task when it came to everything that needed to be done for our wedding. I knew Natalie would execute our wedding flawlessly, but I had NO IDEA what this creative genius could pull off!
The day of our wedding it was pouring and I called Natalie early in the morning in tears. I hadn't planned on an indoors ceremony. Natalie managed me, the weather (as best as she could) and the entire event with a positive attitude and professionalism that only comes with years of experience.
The florals, design and decor, I mean WOW. The biggest reason I hired Natalie was to bring our creative vision to life. I am not a big event thrower. I am not a great party hostess. I have no idea how or where to even begin in such scenarios. But I do have a distinct aesthetic and style that I wanted Natalie to execute and bring to life. My husband and I LOVE old movies, and I love a more vintage, romantic, throw back kind of vibe.
The day of the wedding I could NOT believe my eyes. Natalie and her team transformed the inside space into the most romantic, intimate, yummy rainy day wonderland and I LOVED how personal the space felt indoors. They then broke down and in an hour turned the ceremony space into the most beautiful and delicious reception a bride could only dream of.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are to Natalie and her team at a Good Affair Wedding and Event Productions. Justin and I knew Natalie was our planner when we told her upon meeting we wanted to get married in three months and she replied, "No problem, I could do this in two weeks!" With a short time frame and very busy lifestyle we gave Natalie a few ideas and just let her plan away! We took all of Natalie’s recommendations including the photographer, caterer, DJ, lighting, invitations, rentals, efficient and so on. Everyone was more than wonderful!! We decided to get married at my husband's family estate instead of an established wedding venue. Natalie designed a ceremony site, cocktail space and reception area all on the property. There were candles everywhere, crystal chandeliers hanging from trees, and not to mention the amazing so lovingly nicknamed "Mack Daddy" reception tent! Everything was pristine! With winter weddings comes the risk of rain and sickness, we unluckily got both! Justin, Natalie and I all battled sicknesses the two weeks leading up to the wedding! Natalie powered through and even made a special gift as a surprise for us at the wedding! The rain came down consistently the day before our supposed to be outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. To the rescue comes Natalie and she completely redesigned our site the day before! Looking back I am almost thankful for the rain because I loved the second layout even more than the first! Natalie and her team not only made getting married stress free but also gave us the freedom to really enjoy and focus on the important and fun things about the wedding! Now a Good Affair will be our lifelong party planner!!
Kristin Fung was our Day of Coordinator and she was wonderful! She was so professional and accommodating. We were soooooo lucky to have her and she honestly made our dream day a reality. All of our vendors and wedding party commented on how much they enjoyed working with her. I knew I wanted a Day of Coordinator to relieve the stress during the day, but I didn't realize how much having Kristin there would let me completely enjoy everything. I felt like I could trust her with my vision through the process. Boy, was I right, everything was wonderful!
A Good Affair is an amazing team and more than we could have asked for on our special day. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, we felt like EVERYTHING went on without a hitch and it wouldn’t have been as perfect or stress free without this team!
The combination of vendors A Good Affair helped us select made the day the best, we are still getting compliments on Andy’s jams and Jaimee made us feel like we were movie stars! Our tables looked perfect, our décor was spotless, everything was in the PERFECT location – it was just amazing!
We also have to comment on the fun we had leading up to the day meeting with Natalie and giggling at planning sessions. She has a wonderful spirit and a great personality that makes stressful planning a blast! Natalie is a perfectionist and a type A that sees every detail, it was so great to know we could count on her for everything!

Hiring Natalie and the AGA team was the best decision my husband and I made. Originally, we were not planning on hiring a coordinator for our October wedding, but WOW are we glad we did. I am certain my wedding would not have been as beautiful, organized, and detailed if it weren’t for A Good Affair. Before hiring Natalie, I had about 10 different wedding themes going at once, stressed to the max, and desperately in need of some guidance and organization. Even though I was already exceeding my tight budget, I went in for a meeting with her "just to see" ...and I ended up hiring her on the spot. I squeezed her into my budget and it was worth every penny and more. She is amazing and the services she provides go above and beyond what I ever expected in a coordinator. Aside from creating a beautiful design and "feel", she helped on the "business" end, communicating with my other vendors, my venue, and helped create a timeline for the day. A Good Affair was wonderful to work with!! Natalie is extremely professional and she's great at what she does. She is a busy lady, but it's because she does a great job. Jennifer was amazing! We needed help along the way with contracts, some planning and the day of the wedding. She was very fast at responding to emails and answering phone calls. She was great at referring vendors for my tight budget. With her help we were able to have a beautiful ceremony and reception and on a budget! She helped with anything that we needed throughout the planning and the day of the wedding. The details that I wanted and the way I envisioned everything was done perfectly. She has a great personality and is very professional. The day was not stressful at all and everything was taken care of.
I'm so happy that my venue (Mastro's) recommended A Good Affair for week-of coordination services! I honestly couldn't have gotten through the wedding planning process without Jennifer, and we also ended up booking Natalie to take care of our florals, which were gorgeous and exactly what we wanted.
Even though I just booked week-of coordination, Jennifer checked in with me throughout the six months or so before the wedding, helping me with major checkpoints until the big day. Her friendly and helpful emails were such a delight to receive in the midst of all the craziness and stress that was happening during the planning, and of course her assistance throughout the wedding day was invaluable.
Natalie's florals really captured the vision we had for both the ceremony and reception spaces. I was concerned I wouldn't be able to find a florist that could understand what I wanted (which involved a quirky combination of artistic and scientific elements), but Natalie hit it right on the head. She also had great suggestions for how to incorporate our theme in the decor throughout the event.

Natalie and her team at A Good Affair helped make my wedding day PERFECTLY everything I wanted it to be. Two and half months later, guests are still commenting on how much fun they had and how beautiful everything was. My mom and parents-in-law could not have been more pleased, and my husband and I will always cherish the memories we share of our special day thanks to Natalie and her team. First, Natalie is incredibly flexible and accommodating. When I first met with her, I had most of the big plans out of the way and was prepared to do a lot of the work on my own. I wanted someone who could act as a consultant, keep me on task, and come wedding day, take charge and make sure things ran smoothly. Natalie did exactly that and more, tweaking the contract to fit my mom and my specific needs. Additionally, we were working with an uncertain budget which Natalie was able to accommodate, ensuring we were given the best deals possible. Second, Natalie is an excellent mediator and problem solver. Planning a wedding comes with a lot of stress and emotion since it's such a big and important day. My dad passed away at the beginning of the year, so a lot of emotions were present around that issue--Natalie was incredibly empathetic and suggested creative ways to include him in the wedding day. And along the way, my mom and I naturally butted heads on a few ideas, but Natalie was always able to keep us on track and make suggestions to accommodate both of our wants. Third, Natalie is an aesthetic master. In terms of colors, flowers, and decor, I had a vision of how I wanted things to look on my wedding day, but no idea how to make it happen. Natalie listened to my visions and excelled at making them into a reality. Everything was GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS--candles, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, aisle decorations, table settings, EVERYTHING. I was so impressed with her artistic ability and the way she pulled all the details together.
A Groom’s Perspective:
My wife and I met Natalie in late 2011, some 9+ months out from our wedding date. We didn’t know much about planning a wedding. We had some colors in mind, and we had a general sense of the style we wanted our special day to carry. But how do you make all of your abstract thoughts blend together to create the wedding you’ve hoped for? Hire Natalie, that’s how.
From the moment first sat down with Natalie, it was clear she was someone who cared about our happiness. Our circumstances were a bit sensitive, as my wife’s father had recently passed away. As you can imagine, talking about and planning the wedding was bittersweet. On the one hand, we were excited to plan a day we’d remember for the rest of our lives. And on the other, we knew that day would be missing a loving father, exceptional husband, and consummate friend. Natalie listened, she inquired, and she took the time to get to know us and our story on a personal level. We never felt like we were “clients” and it never seemed like planning our wedding was Natalie’s “job.” The entire process was a collaborative effort wherein Natalie allowed us to express our visions for the wedding and then she made them come to life. I’m even on record as saying that having Natalie plan our wedding was like having a best friend plan the wedding, and I mean that. I believe that’s what happens when someone truly cares about the quality of service they provide and is willing to put others’ happiness first.
My husband and I hired Ms. Natalie Good in 3/2012 as our wedding coordinator. We wholeheartedly recommend her to future brides! The wedding was ethereal. - Vendors -- Natalie has been an established network of wedding vendors with whom she has developed good relationships. She communicates well with them; and it was apparent they hold her in high regard. We are grateful for the vendors she recommended -- they were kind, earnest, and hard-working. For a band that she recommended, she offered to listen to them play to verify their quality of work; we were impressed by her professionalism.
- Value -- Natalie respected our budget & she easily found vendors who fell into our budget range.
- Organization -- Natalie is highly organized and kept us on track along the way. She communicated closely with us several days before the wedding & gave us updates on all fronts, which helped us manage our anxiety & allowed me to feel calm before the wedding.

I would recommend A Good Affair to every single bride that is getting married! Jen and Natalie are so professional, friendly, helpful and creative! I absolutely adore Natalie Good and her team at A Good Affair for making my wedding dreams come true. My fiance and I had already begun planning our wedding in Southern California when we unexpectedly had to move to Southern Florida for a career opportunity. I quickly became overwhelmed with the planning in general (not to mention the fact that my wedding was now a "destination wedding") and was introduced to Natalie by a close friend.
I "met" Natalie for the first time through a phone call and immediately felt comfortable working with her. Natalie customized a plan for me based on my needs and budget. Initially, I hired her team for day of coordination and recommendation of vendors. Just from talking to Natalie, I felt that I could trust her opinions and recommendations. The vendors that she recommended were incredible. We were thrilled with each and every one of them and most of them gave us discounts for booking through Natalie so that was obviously a bonus. The vendors Natalie recommended for us were also very affordable compared to others I had spoken with. As Mother of the Bride and living in Tennessee, most of my contact with A Good Affair was via email, two meetings during the planning process and the day before and of the wedding. Natalie and Jennifer were very responsive to all of my emails, and kept everything on track because the wedding was planned in less than 3 months! In spite of the short planning time, the wedding was wonderful. Most of my contact towards the wedding day was with Jennifer, who is the sweetest and most pleasant person to deal with, while also effectively getting the job done. (Natalie was doing another wedding the same day as our wedding, but significantly contributed to the planning process throughout.) The vendors they supplied were all very professional and incredibly talented. We were pleased and impressed with everyone they recommended. A Good Affair enabled this beautiful wedding to happen and we were able to thoroughly enjoy the day without a worry because of their presence.

Planning a wedding is certainly daunting for the bride and groom who don’t know where to begin, who don’t even have a vision, or for even those brides who are the “anti-bride” and are not necessarily drawn to the frills and little details of weddings--I was definitely the latter--at least in the beginning. Because of Natalie, we fell in love with our own wedding, and the entire process was virtually stress-free. And I know it’s not that I fell for the “wedding trap.” Because of Natalie and her inspiration, our wedding became a reflection of who we are, and in the process, we had a day that we will never forget, a day filled with overwhelming beauty and love.
Of course, when planning a wedding over the course of nearly a year, there will inevitably be moments when anxiety or panic kicks in, especially when making certain decisions, but rest-assured, Natalie brings the calm with her confidence and compassion. Her connections within the industry led us to our fabulous vendors, who also love working with Natalie, and we were therefore able to get “Natalie Discounts” which helped with our overall budget...speaking of which, Natalie was always thoughtful and considerate of working within our financial means. I admire her honesty and forthrightness, but above all I love her heart-filled work ethic.
I have a high level of respect for people who are not simply skilled in their trade, but possess heart and true love for what they do. Natalie does not merely have expertise in design and wedding planning, she’s got the passion to prove it. What stood out to me in particular was her keen sense of understanding and reading people. She has the ability to connect your personality (both bride and groom) as well as your likes/dislikes to create a vision that is completely uniquely individualized...and of course, absolutely beautiful.
We loved Natalie so much that we enlisted her for wedding design and florals. Each wedding she has done is unique because she pays individualized attention to each of her clients. She has an imaginative creativity--the sky is NOT the limit for her. Natalie doesn’t simply follow the current wedding trends--she’s the trendsetter! It was amazing to see how all the ideas from both Natalie and us converged together to create a masterpiece that took our breath away. Every single detail was impeccable. Our day was impeccable. PS: Groom’s comments: I can be a tough person to please. So when I told Natalie that I was speechless, it was a significant comment. The experience of sitting at our head table and taking in the magnificent setting that Natalie created is a memory I will never forget. I was equally impressed by how smooth everything went, there was not one glitch or problem. I could not be happier with the day that Natalie helped us create. It was perfect.
Natalie was a blessing! Initially I thought I could juggle it all myself but boy was I wrong. There is a great deal required in the last month and much of it was unforeseen by me. I was working full time and moving and I honestly could not have had such a smooth and amazing day if it was not for Natalie's help the month before our big day. She had clever ideas, references and advice for my myriad of questions and concerns. She saved the day on several occasions - missing a few family flowers (she arranged for them to be there before the ceremony), hole in the dress (she was there and quite literally untangled me), husband with a sinus infection (she found meds), keeping the night's events moving on schedule (she did it). From someone who was on the fence about having a planner, I can tell you - do it; hire one, even if it is only for the day or month of the event. Natalie and her team were delightful and responsive; if I ever find myself planning another major event for family, friends or work I will call her in a heart beat!

Oh my goodness, where do I even start? Natalie is one of the most sweet and professional people I've ever worked with in my life. For the sake of future brides, I will start with the short version and if you'd like to read about all the specific wonderful things Natalie has done for our wedding, read on!
IN SHORT: Let me start off by saying I've done my research before deciding to go with Natalie with A Good Affair. I searched up the top 8 wedding planners in the OC a year and a half before our wedding this May, and made my fiancé interview each and every one of them with me before we chose Natalie. I wanted to be sure I picked someone we could trust and depend on to carry out our thoughts and wants of our wedding vision. Out of all 8 of them, Natalie was the first to respond to my request to interview on the Wedding Wire website- we were on the phone within 10 minutes after I sent the online request. Her promptness with emails and phone calls throughout our relationship proved to be just as consistent as that first call.
Our first meeting took place in her cute office in Newport Beach, my first impression of Natalie was that she was very sweet, listened carefully, and most importantly, was someone who was capable of taking charge and making things happen. I knew from the way she spoke about her previous experiences that she was someone that puts her all into making something happen and she wouldn’t let anyone tell her that something could not be done. She was the type of person you would want on your team because she encompassed a special ability to lead with a perfect balance of kindness and authority. To me, these skills were crucial for a perfect wedding planner who is expected to handle and coordinate all of the other vendors we hired for our big day (photographer, videographer, makeup, food, desserts, florals, photo-booth, hookah, etc.) We needed someone who had both a great vendor list to get us the best deals, and the skills needed to keep all of those vendors on track for exactly what they were supposed to do, and when they needed to perform.
Out of the 8 wedding planners we interviewed, we not only connected best with Natalie, we also trusted her 100% with all of our planning needs. We decided to book her for the whole package, and pretty much had her hold our hand throughout the whole thing. On the day of the wedding, Natalie and her team performed flawlessly. Our timeline was done to a T, and it was quite honestly the most perfect wedding I could ever hope for. We had amazing everything, and the comments we’ve received during and after our wedding has not ceased to this day. Thanks to A Good Affair, our wedding will always be remembered as one of the best planned and most customized weddings anyone has ever been to. I loved everything about our wedding and it could never have been done the same way without Natalie. If you want to be efficient, take my word and my experiences and skip those other interviews with the other planners out there because Natalie will be the best planner anyone can get- I’ve been there, spent 2 weeks interviewing planners and guess what? I chose Natalie for a reason, and I’m so glad I did!
IN LONG: If I were to pick one specific example of when Natalie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for the wedding, I would have to pick the crazy hookah vendor that we had to deal with. If anyone tells you wedding planning is a breeze, they’re lying. Many things can go wrong when you are trying to set up for a wedding. Vendors can decide not to show up the last minute, cancel, or just plain cater the wrong thing at the wrong time. I was a budget crazy bride and wanted the biggest bang for my buck- for EVERYTHING. This resulted in me finding my own hookah vendor who I thought gave us the best deal. We booked the vendor about 6 months out from the wedding, but at around one month before the wedding our hookah vendor told us he was no longer able to provide the insurance needed to cater to our venue. This was after we had paid him in full and told him we needed insurance papers before he could serve at our venue. After promising that he was able to get us insurance papers, he went back on his word several times. As a professional planner, Natalie contacted him for the insurance papers so we didn’t have to. However, when the time came to turn in his insurance papers, the vendor became very unpleasant and told Natalie it just could not be done. This carried on for almost 4 weeks, up to the Monday before our Saturday wedding. At that point, Natalie made the executive decision that this just was not going work. She took the initiative to find us another hookah vendor just 4 days before the wedding, and actually succeeded. She spent the whole day calling other vendors, doing research, just so we could have our perfect wedding, with our personalized touch of hookah. The best part was, she was such a great negotiator on our behalf that she was able to get the same deal for us as our last one had. Let it be known that yes, there will be times when you have a mini heart-attack (or maybe two) when things don’t go as planned, but if you have Natalie on your team, those heart-attacks will happen BEFORE the wedding- not during. The last thing you want to worry about the week before your wedding is if your vendors are going to perform, the only thing anyone should worry about the last week before their wedding is how perfect you will look going down that beautiful aisle. If you want a flawless wedding, go with a planner that will fight for you, plan for you, and make your wedding experience an unforgettable one. Natalie definitely did all that, and beyond for us. Did I mention that she’s sweet and awesome the whole way too?? LOVE HER!!!
Lets start with Natalie is great.. A good affair is on top of its game with wedding coordination. Natalie and her team were organized and prepared always. A good Affair was always available to anwser questions and would respond quickly to all emails I had leading up to my wedding. Natalie brings a calmness to a stressfull time especially to a bride. Hiring Natalie from A Good Affair as our wedding planner is the best decision my husband and I had made for our wedding. She is very organized and she'd make sure my then fiance and I keep on track. Natalie also did flowers and decor for our wedding. Our ceremony was supposed to be outdoor but right after we arrived the venue, it started raining cats and dogs. Natalie and her team moved the ceremony indoor swiftly. As I walked down the aisle, I was in awe of the transformation of the room that Natalie and her team had done. She transformed a simple conference room into a magical, whimsical wonderland with the hand-built pergola wrapped with cherry blossom branches, dropped chandeliers,rose petals and pink lighting.
Natalie took my stress away and made sure everything went smoothly without any issues. I have seen many brides-to-be got stressed out and ended up having fights with their fiances; or I have heard couples didn't have time to eat/have much fun at their weddings. I'm so glad that my husband and I didn't have to go through that because we had Natalie.
We were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful meal and great views of the ballroom from our sweetheart table. Looking around the room, we both agreed that Natalie and her team did an exceptional job. If we could do it again, we would not change a bit at all!
All in all, we were very pleased with everything Natalie did. We received so many comments from our guests on how beautiful the wedding was. I would recommend Natalie from A Good Affair without any hesitation.

My wife and I hired Natalie a year prior to our wedding, and what a great choice we’ve made! We live in San Diego, and have very demanding work schedules. Natalie took most of the work out of what would have been an arduous planning process, and delivered an experience that was above and beyond our wildest expectations. We actually didn’t meet up all that many times due to distance and time constraints. But every time we met, so much got done or has already been done behind the scenes, that we’d leave feeling completely assured that we were taken care of. She worked with us step of the way, and was very accommodating to any request we had. Natalie knows some of the best vendors in the business, and refers them accordingly. And the close relationship she has with the vendors often times translated into “Natalie Specials,” that ultimately conferred savings without compromising quality. Most importantly, Natalie is open to ideas; she values our input, and gave honest feedback. At no time did we feel pressured or influenced in our decision making. It was our big day, and she saw to it that it stayed true to our every wants and needs.
Come day of the wedding, she was on it! Even amidst a mid-March torrential downpour (which took place on our wedding day), her and her team did not miss a beat. Last minute adjustments were made swiftly and decisively. And the result was that of awe and wonder. I don’t know how they did what they did, but the décor that was meant to be outdoors was seamlessly incorporated into an indoor setting, and it looked amazing! I would not change a thing about it. Rain or shine, Natalie made it happen. Throughout the wedding, she and her assistant Jennifer directed people traffic and managed the timeline in a manner that was efficient and never intrusive in the process. Lastly, the reception was just... beautiful. Not only did the décor exceed our expectations, it knocked it out of the park! The presentation and attention to detail was amazing, and elicited much praise from the guests. A friend of mine, who has plans to get married, had this to say: “You set the bar too high. How am I supposed to follow this?”
All in all, hiring Natalie was the best decision we have made for the wedding, second only to our marriage of course. Moreover, I really feel the relationship my wife and I have with Natalie is beyond that of customer and client. The level of care and attention she puts into her planning is something you’d expect not only from a professional, but from close friends or family. Natalie, if you are reading this, thank you.

I can't imagine our perfect wedding day without the help of Natalie Good. For everything to go just right, she surely must have done even more things behind the scenes than I was even aware of in order to make such a busy day go so well. It's never supposed to rain in Palm Springs, except it did on our special day, and the coordination of tents, table set ups, lights, and other affected issues must have been quite the hassle, but everything was taken care of and beautiful.
In meetings with vendors prior to the wedding, Natalie always made sure to speak up for us and make sure all of our preferences and desires were met. She clearly understood how we wanted our wedding to go and was attentive to that in those meetings.
Natalie and Jennifer are on it! They are extremely quick and professional and I never had any doubts that they would make our big day perfect. I have never considered myself as someone who would need a wedding coordinator. I’m creative and hyper-organized by nature and by the time I got engaged I had most of my wedding already planned. Lucky for me, Natalie and A Good Affair were there to rescue me from myself and my I-can-do-it-all attitude that was threatening my wedding plans and my sanity. From the day I hired A Good Affair, a calm came over me that I hadn’t felt throughout the entire wedding planning process. My contract with Natalie of a Good Affair was for day of coordination. This included 2 weeks plannning and endless emails and questions. She was incredibly sweet and great to work with. Even my photographer commented to me that Natalie was super to work with and had such a pleasant personality.
My ceremony was suppose to be outdoors, but due to rain and wind, the ceremony plans had to be changed in less than 24 hours. Natalie and Mastro's event director made last minute arrangements and changes and even though I had to change my outdoor ceremony to indoors, it was still gorgeous and I loved every detail and moment of it. She never panicked (at least not to me) or sounded rushed so I was comfortable during the week. I did not worry about anything during the day of the wedding.
She also does flowers. I absolutely loved my bouquet and all the floral decorations in the ceremony and reception. My colors were yellow and grey, and I wanted simple modern arrangements. A coworker of mine used Natalie as her wedding planner and had nothing but wonderful things to say about her. I decided to give Natalie a call. We set up a meeting and right away I knew she was the planner for me. Working with Natalie was a Godsend. She was easy to work with, offered creative ideas and worked with the most amazing vendors. Due to the fact that she works with these vendors on a regular basis, allows your wedding to run smoothly and seamlessly. Natalie is professional, organized beyond belief and always puts her client's needs first. My now husband can be challenging to work with. He gives 100 percent in everything he does, so in return, he expects a lot. There were some rough patches along the way. My hubbie, being the perfectionist that he is, is not the easiest to work with. Luckily, Natalie is experienced with what she does and knows how to work with all personality types. I am absolutely so happy that Natalie and her staff were able to be by my side on my wedding. They are truly worth every penny! There were so many little things that occurred during my wedding that Natalie and her staff were able to take care in the flash of an eye. I would not say that my husband and I are picky, but more particular. We are also very busy with extended degrees,work and church. In knowing this A good affair were able to work with our schedule and beautifully execute our vision. I was in total awe when I saw our reception site, it looked EXACTLY how I envisioned it. At first I didn't even think we needed a planner but as we got more involved in the wedding it got way to overwhelming for us to handle, then we found Natalie. She is fantastic. She made my life much simpler throughout the planning process. Also her recommendations on the people she uses rock, and are also very reasonable. I would definitely use all of them again. Definitely believe her when she says they are the best. Natalie is very organized and very efficient with her time and yours. On top of all of that she is great with colors and extremely creative. Natalie is more than just a great wedding planner, she also becomes your friend which is what you want on your wedding day. If you are going to hire a wedding planner I definitely suggest Natalie.
This review is WAY overdue! I got married almost 6 months ago in November 2011 at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano and Natalie and the AGA team did an excellent job with keeping everything organized and flawless on my wedding day!
My experience with Natalie has been amazing throughout the wedding planning process. I’m a young professional usually working 40-50 hours a week and, although I had great organization and management skills, life just got way too busy. Natalie helped realize my vision and style while keeping my budget in mind. My budget was not super tight but it wasn’t unlimited either – so I was looking for a creative DIY idea. With her experience and creativity, it didn’t take her long to find one – paper rosettes! The Villa does not need much but the paper rosettes definitely added a modern and fun feel to the romantic and antique setting – just like how I pictured it! From the invitations to the venue décor, everything tied together seamlessly.
Natalie also provided invaluable recommendations on which vendors to use. I have used her contacts for other events; they are all extremely professional, talented and budget friendly! Day-of, Natalie and her team made sure every guest was treated with 5-star service and that everything was on schedule. I have received many compliments on how beautiful and elegant my wedding was. Oh and the best part? We danced our butts off until the end of the night. Needless to say, her DJ recommendation rocked!

I initially called A Good Affair because I had read Natalie's wonderful reviews but because I waited until the last minute to actually hire a day-of coordinator (since I was one of those brides who assumed that I would be able to do everything on my own) she was already booked on the evening of our rehearsal. However, she recommended her associate planner Jennifer to us since she would be available for both the rehearsal and the entire wedding day as well.
Jennifer was very responsive and professional and met with us various times during the course of a couple of weeks so that we could get her caught up with all of our wedding plans. She was such a great help in planning and coordinating the ceremony, as well as making sure that everything looked great and was in its place for our ceremony and reception. Jennifer and her assistant also were such a great help in that they packed all of our gifts as well as our toasting flutes, cake cutting utensils, etc. in our families' cars for us so that all they had to do was drive it home. It was a great relief to not have to worry about any of the packing up at the end of the evening so that we were really able to enjoy our reception.
Natalie and the girls from A Good Affair are amazing! Natalie was our ‘week of’ coordinator for our wedding this past September, and I am so happy we hired her. Even though we only had it in our budget to hire her for the week of coordination she helped us for months ahead of time. She gave us many great ideas on decorating the venue and also suggested many other wonderful vendors to work with. On our wedding day, she was calm and organized, and took care of several issues that came up without my even knowing. We had a very small budget for the size of wedding we wanted to have so we could only afford a week of coordinator, no matter which planner we went with. I was referred to Natalie by a mutual friend and she was super easy to work with from the very beginning. She not only accommodated our small budget but was able to recommend vendors that she often worked with to save us even more money. The DJ we chose even gave us a discount because he knew her from working other events. I did a TON of DIY projects to save money and to make the wedding unique but it was up to Natalie and her assistants to set it all up and they did a fantastic job. Everything looked beautiful and came out the way I wanted it to, a lot of it even better than what I had envisioned. Our wedding day went perfectly and there were only small hiccups that Natalie had to take care of because of inadequacies from other vendors. Thanks for everything, Natalie!
Natalie Good was amazing! Our wedding turned out better than we could have ever hoped for. I truly can not say enough. Where do I begin…? Natalie Good, her name should be Natalie AMAZING! I was a lost bride and did not know where to go and found A Good Affair through Anne, who is the manager of 24 carrots and the most beautiful Franciscan Gardens. The first time I met Anne I felt as though I met a friend I had known for ten years, she was so sweet and down to earth. She recommended I call Natalie to have a consultation. I walked into Natalie’s office (which is so beautiful!), and had met the woman who was going to change my world forever.
She was organized, kind, and I felt an instant connection. As we started planning my wedding, I saw my dream wedding coming true. I had always dreamed of this whimsical garden wedding. The more meetings we had, the more excited I got. Along the way, she introduced me to so many talented people. I had been to so many bad weddings were the DJ was awful and could not pronounce the new last name to the decorations falling apart. I was scared! Nevertheless, Natalie was the light at the end of my tunnel.
On my wedding July 17, 2011, I walked down the aisle to see the most beautifully decorated archway. I was so very excited to see my handsome husband to be… but the flowers were magnificent. After the ceremony, we continued over to the other side for the reception. Each table was out of this world, everything that I had asked Natalie to do she went above and beyond, and made it even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined it. In addition, on my wedding day I had a few drunken groomsmen, which she took care of that and so much more for my husband and I. she was on top of every detail! Like most couples, my former fiancé (now husband) initially thought we could plan our wedding on our own. We went through countless hours of doing vendor research, reading reviews, looking at websites, before we decided that we were better off meeting with a planner who could facilitate the entire process for us. We were referred to Natalie Good at A Good Affair through our venue, Franciscan Gardens. In a nutshell, Natalie was a lifesaver. We hired her after one meeting because we were impressed with how much knowledge she had of the wedding industry and event planning. Throughout the process, she was a true professional. She listened to everything we wanted – for instance, we booked all the vendors she sent to us after one meeting because they were a perfectly matched choice. She also helped steer us clear of bad decisions in a very courteous manner. And she also handled the design of our venue, which turned out more beautiful than anything I’ve seen on blogs or in wedding magazines. Not to mention the great discounts we got from other vendors for being her client, which almost made us feel like Natalie paid for herself. In the end, our day turned out so beautiful and I still have friends commenting on how amazing our wedding was.
My fiance and I (and my mother!) were planning our wedding in CA from TX. Natalie was the best money we spent for this wedding. She organized every trip to make the most of our time so we could meet as many vendors as possible to be sure we had our favorites. People I see around town ask me how my daughters wedding went. My answer is always "perfect!" Living and Texas and planning a wedding in California seemed a daunting task. Then we met Natalie. Right away she saw the vision of the type of wedding we were looking for and ran with it. She helped assemble a wonderful team of vendors that made the day flow so smoothly. As soon as I got engaged I thought I had my whole wedding planned out and could execute it all on my own. That was until I actually started planning and realized how much I could actually do...which was basically nothing. Being the most indecisive bride IN THE WORLD, I felt overwhelmed, lost and confused. At the time, I was told by my fiancee that a wedding planner was too expensive and not necessary. I had a consultation with her and IMMEDIATELY fell in love! I couldn't believe I had found the person that basically knew my thoughts before I said them!! Since I wanted to be a DIY bride, we only hired her for partial planning which included months before as well the day of, which was all I felt I really needed. Leading up to the days before the wedding, we talked every day and she really brought together all the little tiny details that I hadn't even thought of. She kept me on cue with the things needing to be done so I wouldn't creep back to my procrastinating roots and be overwhelmed at the last minute. As for the day of, it turned out better than I could have ever imagined! The entire day went on perfectly, without a single issue, and I was told by many of my guests that it was the best planned and executed wedding they had ever been to! The ceremony was perfectly set up. The reception was absolutely stunning. The florals were beautiful, which Natalie did herself. Overall, it was better than I could have ever imagined...all because of the absolutely amazing staff at A Good Affair and of course, Natalie herself. I would not change a thing about the entire process, except maybe starting a little sooner than I did, and it was all thanks to her! She is the best wedding planner a scared, indecisive, crazy bride could ever imagine. I would recommend her to EVERY couple out there! You will be amazed and blown away by her dedication to couples as well as her beyond adorable style :)

The company worked well within the budget presented to them--and in fact, was able to provide better service for the cost. During the actual wedding/reception their presence and professionalism was felt but not seen and things ran extremely smoothly and was a lot of fun for all!

It was such a pleasure to work with A Good Affair Wedding and Event Production. My initial hopes for our wedding (I thought) were beyond what my budget and time frame would allow, however after my initial conversation with my coordinator Natalie I felt at ease that the wedding would be lovely. Every detail on the day of our wedding exceeded my expectations- from the decorations, to the flowers, catering, and service- everything was impeccably executed. Throughout the day and in the days that have followed, I have received comments on how well our wedding ran, how unique the decorations were, and how personal the atmosphere was. I am the mother of the groom in a wedding Natalie planned and organized. Her organization was superb. I very much liked her calm and assertive style--she is flexible but everything gets done. I felt very comfortable and I knew that all was going to be well without my involvement, which was great given the fact that I became ill the day before the wedding and was of no use whatsoever. The bride and the groom are very happy and everyone had only nice and happy things to say about the event. It seems that everyone had a great time and they all loved the ambiance that Natalie created with the decor. She is very creative and elegantly so. I will recommend her services to daughters and sons of my friends who might look for the assistance of a wedding planner. She was a joy to work with.
The best thing I ever did for myself and my future husband was hire a wedding planner. Natalie was the reason my wedding was so perfect. She was the first one on the scene and the last one to leave. She made everything move so smoothly. The one thing Natalie kept telling me was, "If you're feeling any stress, put it on me." That comment alone made me relax and realize that she is there to make everything go perfectly. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better day and I know that it's because of her that I have the best memories to last me a lifetime.
Natalie was fantastic. As a typical groom I did not understand the need for a wedding coordinator. It was during our wedding I realized how important a great coordinator is. During the wedding we are running around doing all of the wedding things that brides and grooms do and there is no way we could have managed to have such a wonderful wedding without Natalie. She constantly made sure everything was running smoothly. Most importantly she kept my wife sane! Many times throughout the wedding process she rescued our relationship. Go with your gut when deciding on your vendors- yes price is a factor but never choose on price alone. We hate to see client's that chose the "cheap" photographer but then on the day of their wedding just want them to go away because they can't stand them.
