I had my hair done by a la mode updo's by Alex for my wedding, along with my maid of honor. She did an exceptional job- she has a strong desire to please and actually listens to you when you have suggestions and ideas. She is nice, professional, and great at doing hair. I will definitely call her again next time I need a nice hairdo for a special event. She is the best!!!!

Alex did a wonderful job for myself and my bridesmaids. She was very professional and knew exactly what I wanted, even though I wasn't so sure. The hairstyles were all so beautiful and really lasted throughout the day.

When it came time to organize my wedding, I had three weeks. With very short notice, I found Alex and made a trial run appointment. With no one referring me to her site nor any recommendations, I hoped her quality of style would match mine. After the trial run, I knew she would be able to develop the vision I had for her. My trial run was in Maple Ridge with the wedding located downtown. With no hesitation, she drove to both locations, which illustrated her dedication for her work. She was prompt, professional, open to suggestions, extremely flexible and made me feel more beautiful then I thought I could on one of the most important days. Her work is truly outstanding.

I searched for various stylists on facebook around my area. I wanted someone professional, affordable and could give me my dream hair. When I saw Ala mode's photos ; I could see the real effort and diversity. I decided to give her a try and she is brilliant! I had always my hair to be exactly like the ones in magazines and Alex did exactly that. My hair was definitely a highlight of my wedding. Afterall, its the 2nd thing after the dress and it definitely complimented my dress. What I really appreciated is that Alex comes to you so no matter where your getting ready, you dont have to worry about going places the morning of. So that was wonderful and really stress-free. Five stars for sure!

I recently had my hair done for my wedding by a La mode by Alex. She's extremely talented and I couldn't have had anyone else do my hair for my wedding. I loved it and I'm extremely picky about my hair and have a hard time trusting people but Alex did a wonderful job. She also made my bridesmaids hair stunning. I recommend her to anyone wanting their hair perfect for their big day or any special event. She really understands what you like and don't like as long as you tell her. I've known many others that has gone to her and she does wonders! Try her out!!

I had Alex style my hair, my bridesmaids and my mother's hair the morning of my wedding. With quite a few girls to style she finished on time and there was no rushing trying to get all the hair done on time which was a big relief. She was very professional and made me feel relaxed and calm for being such a busy day! I would definetly reccomend Alex because she really has a flair for hair and with her past experiece as a hairdresser and talent I feel like she is on top of current and modern styles. Great choice for a wedding day stylist!

Worked with Alex for a September wedding my bride was Cathy. Alex did a great job and kept the day rolling and on time WHICH IS KEY!!! Make up Artists & Hair Stylists really control your timeline, recommending Alex is easy. She was professional, on time, and did a beautiful job. Another key thing when choosing a stylist is they will know the styles and ways to make your style stay all day. Cathy's hair stayed the whole day and night and looked amazing. Alex you were truly a pleasure to work with, and I will certainly be recommending you to my brides.
