A Music Plus

The DJ was great! We both have fairly large European families and we were concerned the DJ wasn't going to be able to play European music to allow some of our family to dance. We provided him with some CD's of music for the family and he played a perfect mix of American and European music that he had everyone on the dance floor the entire night!!! A Music Plus is a great company with great DJ's!!!

Wow. We lucked out with A Music Plus! This was a recommendation from our caterer and we could not be happier. The price was unbelievable and included the ceremony music. Our DJ was Tommy and he played everything we wanted and more. In our DJ worksheet I said I wanted a very outgoing DJ and also challenged them to a robot dance off and it was UNBELIEVABLE! Not to give away all his secrets, but he came out in a jacket with working lights! And hands down beat me at the robot... but I still won by applause because I was the bride. He was so much fun and honestly our whole experience from the first meeting to the checklist and the follow up was just such an easy and perfect experience. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would suggest them to anyone who asked!

Wow! Our DJ did everything we asked for and then some! He keep the mood upbeat and fun. Once the dancing started, the dance floor was never empty. We wanted a wedding dance where all of the guest were sad when it was over, and that's what we got!We also used the DJ for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and once again he did everything we asked for. The money spent was so well worth it, and honestly the cost was beyond reasonable. We will recommend this company to everyone we know!

We used A music plus for our wedding in June and they were just great! It was great that we were able to choose a more "laid back" DJ who stayed in more in the background. They were very accommodating as I had a lot of specific music requests and last minute changes. They also arranged so I could sing a special song for my new husband. They seemed to have a good "feel" for the crowd and started playing more fun dance music as the night progressed. When things were really grooving, he surprised us with a breakdance!

A Music Plus provided a great DJ who did both our ceremony and reception music. The company is very easy to work with and very responsive. The DJ played exactly the music we asked for, and did a nice job of keeping things on schedule.

A music plus were an amazing vendor. They were a dream to work with, continuously working around our busy schedules to make sure that we would be completely satisfied on our wedding day. On the big day they were so helpful, even offering to bring us drinks prior to the ceremony. The dj's were very professional and tactful. They kept our guests dancing all night.

A Music Plus was helpful from start to finish. The staff answered all of my questions very quickly, gave suggestions/recommendations when requested, and were very professional. We didn't have to think about a thing when it came to music on our wedding day.

These guys were great- I have to ask who our DJ was again, I forget his name already, but he was perfect. I had a few "do not play" instructions, but I left the rest up to him and our guest requests. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away, and the dance floor was never empty! I am very pleased!

Overall a great experience with A Music Plus! They played everything we asked them to & nothing we didn't want to hear! Our DJ checked in with us a few times during the reception to make sure we were satisfied. He pronounced everyone's name right, was attentive, & didn't try to draw attention to himself. Chris was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!JUST PERFECT! He and his assistant played exactly what we wanted, knew how to go with the mood of the crowd and again were SPECTACULAR. Also, they kept the party going so I didn't have to worry about a thing...just listen for the flower toss etc. YAYYY for Chris!

The biz people worked with us on price to be sure they could fit our budget, which we very much appreciated. They even offered an extra discount to get us in the door. The poor economy did help us here!The DJ was so incredibly helpful. We had filled out all the paperwork to let them know what we wanted, and I spent a short amount of time the day of the wedding talking to the DJ to be sure he understood what we wanted. The biggest help he provided was in 'driving' the evening so we stayed on track and on time. He kept the music danceable and was game for some of our more wacky ideas. I provided a few songs on CD for him to play, which he did gladly. He was really truly professional and I can't say enough good things about how well he did. Highly recommended.

We requested John and have NO REGRETS! He was perfect for our crowd. He kept the day moving and made some suggestions that we just LOVED! One of my favorite suggestions he made was to have the last song 'Don't Stop Believing' by Journey - our guests loved it!! He has us in the middle of a huge dance circle with all of our guests around us screaming the lyrics at the top of their lungs... one of my favorite moments of the day!Leading up to the wedding there were one of my favorite vendors to work with. They replied PROMPTLY to all of my emails and helped cut our music for our Rock the Reception dance.

Jeremy, our DJ, made our wedding absolutely wonderful. He was very involved in the planning process, paid close attention to all of my requests, and had a good eye (or ear?) for seeing what type of music got my guests dancing. I loved that if he had a question, he would ask me instead of just assuming (and potentially making a mistake). He paid close attention to my requests (no swearing in the music) and even pronounced everyone's names correctly. Jeremy was worth more then what we paid. I would highly recommend A Music Plus to anyone looking for a DJ at an excellent price. They only staff the best, and I can promise you that you don't need to be worried about a dud DJ with them.

A Music Plus did a great job at our wedding! He was so good with our guests and our requests, people were dancing the whole night! Everyone still talks to this day about how much fun they had and I know that was because our DJ was so good! The only complaint was that during the ceremony he had a couple sound issues and the mic kept going out. It might have been a blessing because it relieved some of the stress! Other than that, he showed up on time, delivered on special requests, looked professional, kept everything on schedule, and helped everyone have a blast!

We were a bit nervous about working with a company where we wouldn't meet the DJ who would actually be working our wedding before the day of the wedding. But our DJ did a fantastic job. He followed our instructions exactly, he kept the dance floor packed, and there was great sound all night.

Before the big day they gave us a very easy but detailed planning guide to help them understand exactly what we were looking for, both in the DJ and our music selections. The night of our wedding went great. The DJ was just what we were looking for and he played music that really kept the party going. I still get compliments today about how great the music was. The price was great, too. I'd recommend A Music Plus to any bride and groom who like to party!

Phil from A Music Plus was a great DJ. He listened to exactly how we wanted the evening to flow, and not for one minute were we worried about the evening progressing exactly how we had planned. He was thorough and did not try to be the center of attention per our request. Even when we had a family member require medical attention, he kept the attention off the person so the EMTs could do their job and the rest of the party could go on. He was an excellent DJ, and I highly recommend him.

Our DJ, Eric, did an excellent job. He played a great selection of music, ran the events seamlessly, timed everything perfectly, and was not cheesy, just like we asked for. Planning was easy, but my advice is to read the services portion of the website completely before you go. The people did not go over much, including the options available and we had to request the extras we wanted from memory. After the planning, I was a bit nervous about what we would end up with, but our DJ did a fantastic job.

Although we were skeptical about getting a DJ for our wedding, A Music Plus turned out to be a great choice for us. My husband is a musician and was very particular about the type of music we had. One of our close friends, Mike, is a DJ for A Music Plus which is probably why or service was so amazing. Our music was great and he was soooooooo good at getting people on the dance floor and pumping people up! He also communicated very well with our caterer and photo/videographer. The office was very slow with contacting me before the wedding (I did not hear from them until 4 days before the wedding) and they did not communicate with me very effectively, but other than that it was great!

We brought most of our own music as we wanted Jewish music, and they didn't have much, and there was some miscommunication about what we wanted played when, but everything was fine.

Great DJ. They kept our wedding fun and upbeat. The only issue was a slight messup of our first dance song. But overall the DJ was awesome and made the night fun!!!

We were overall pleased with A Music Plus. There were a few "oopsies", but I'm sure that I was the only one who noticed. The DJ did a great job keeping to the requests that I had put on our sheet, and I greatly appreciated that he kept it a "no request" night like I had specified. The only thing that bugged both my husband and I was when he stated there was a slide show in the back, "if you want to watch". Maybe I should have been a little more specific with my wording, but once again, I'm sure I'm the only one that noticed. I would recommend them for anyone looking for a DJ, the night was an overall success.

The DJ was pretty good but was REALLY young. I think many of my older guests would have preferred an older (less hyper) DJ.

A Music Plus worked very hard to find a band for me with my extremely limited budget. My band, The FlipSide was a huge hit. I couldn't have been happier.

These guys were a great price, I randomly found them online and got a great quote. Although I did get married on a Sunday, I got a great deal for the price. THe DJ was nice and did a good job, he didn't introduce himself and when I asked him to play slow songs so others would get up and dance he played like 1 and then more hip hop. I wasn't disappointed but wished he would have dont a few things different. I was probably my fault for not specifying that more on my form but I would still recommend working with these guys. THe staff was great, friendly and organized. These guys do for sure know what they are doing.

Working with the company was great, I would recommend creating a very long playlist of exactly the songs you want for the dj to play. A bit of a disconnect in what we told the office staff we wanted and what the dj played. Overall good service.

What a fun group of guys! We enjoyed the man who was DJ at our wedding reception much more so than the man who was at our wedding ceremony. The guy at the wedding ceremony was unprepared, ie. he did not bring the wireless microphone we'd previously requested and he was off in the order of our processional music. He also arrived ~30min before the ceremony and had a bunch of questions for me, which was a hassle considering I was the bride and "in hiding." Anyhow, it all worked out and we had a beautiful ceremony. Our DJ at the reception was awesome! He got out on the dance floor and did some cool moves himself! He also played along with my husband's desire to sing The Righteous Brothers "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" before the garter toss. Overall, they run a great business that allows you to pick your music and DJ down to the age, sex, gender, and style you are looking for.

The DJ we had was awesome- he did a great job! Getting a response from the staff at A Music Plus was difficult, however. They need to realize that those planning weddings are stressed out and need a responsive vendor.

They were very nice and played the songs I asked them too. The reason they get a 4 is the DJ that did the wedding was not the one that I met with. So there was a bit of confusion and he had to clarify with me a few times regarding the music. It was kind of annoying.

We had really wanted a specific dj from this company which my friend used during hers. We requested him and someone else showed up. We were very surprised when the dj introduced himself. The DJ was very profession and did a great job with the music part. I had requested a list of songs for mother/son dance and a lady said she would e-mail it and I never received it. They also did not check up with us as far as going over all of the music. We were also under the impression that there would be a little more guidance through the events. We felt it was rather awkward at times. We ended up having a great time and a lot of fun.

I had a cocktail style reception, not a traditional sit down dinner. Although I walked through this concept with the people over at a plus music beforehand (and spelled it out in my questionnaire) my dj didn't understand. He played slow elevator music when he wasn't supposed to, he asked people to take their seats twice when there weren't seat for everyone (cocktail, not sit down) and then announced that we (bride and groom) would help ourselves to food first despite the fact that everyone was already snacking from our various stations (which is how it was designed). He didn't seem to look up from the dj table to see that it was a bit different than the usual scene. He also played songs from our "do not play" list and didn't play songs from our "must play" list. Overall, I was pretty disappointed.

I had a great experience working with the staff in the office at A Music Plus, they were friendly and helpful and seemed to know what they were doing. I was not able to meet my DJ before hand or touch base with him. At the wedding he had a few tracks that actually skipped, and was difficult to understand from time to time. I am not sure I would highly recommend my DJ - but compared to other horror stories I have heard, things went smoothly, and it is a great value.

I found them hard to get ahold of; and they accidenlty doubled charged us and it took awhile to sort out the payments.My husband and I also met with our DJ and talked about song selection only to have another person show up on the wedding day, it took me by surprise and I was a little worried.That said, the DJ they did send, did a great job and played all the songs we wanted. They also helped facilitate our string trio for the ceremony which was great. It was nice to just go with one company and get both the string trio and DJ out of the deal.

Didn't follow the paperwork that they had you fill out.

I would like to be able to say that I got exactly what I paid for with A Music Plus, however, I paid for an hour of live musicians and 4 hours of a DJ for the reception. Unfortunately the live musicians only played two songs and I wasn't offered any sort of refund at all for the rest of the time they should've been playing, stating that they were confused and no one told them where to go even though I had told them beforehand on the phone that we would be indoors except for a short ceremony right outside and it was also stated in my planning paperwork that I turned in that the ceremony didn't even begin for the first half an hour that I had hired them for. It was very unfortunate, because you can never redo a wedding or hire someone else and, for what I paid for, I expected to hear more than a few minutes of music. What a waste! If you are going to use A Music Plus for their live musicians (which is why I picked them) then just don't do it! Save yourself the money and the heartache of having a substandard wedding with people who simply want to do as little work as possible for as much of your money as possible. I honestly would've been better off to use the PA system at the venue and plug in my own MP3-player. I could've made a wedding folder and had it cycle through those and it would've been so much better than the silence that comprised 50 minutes of the first hour of my wedding.

My husband and I are both musicians, so we were pretty picky about what music we wanted to be played at our wedding. A Music Plus was very hard to get ahold of, did not return calls quickly, and did not give me what I wanted. We sent them a set list of songs we would like played, and we were under the impression that the DJ would play only those songs. Instead he played about 50 percent of what we wanted and 50 percent of songs we did not ask for. The DJ himself was VERY entertaining and professional, but the company was not.

The DJ had never heard of our requested first dance song, which was a fairly popular Dave Matthews song, so we had to bring our own copy, - and the music somehow turned in to cheesy dance party music, even though we had stated we did not want that. The price was right, but I would've been happier just plugging in my ipod.

We had A Music Plus for our wedding because it came with our wedding package. We were not thrilled with them really. The music selection was puney, and the DJ was pretty dry. We found out later that we should have requested a couple others and we would have had no regrets but the wedding day has already come and gone. Don't get me wrong, your DJ was very nice and very professional, but really quiet which was not what we had asked for. Plus, we had a lot of people trying to requests common/popular songs and they would either be blown off by the DJs or they didn't have the song. So we had several complaints from our wedding party and guests about that.Oh... plus the DJ forgot about the Mother-Son Dance and so we didn't have one of those unfortunately.

The office staff seemed to be the major problem with our service. They had the wrong play list at the wedding and the set up for our location took way too long in the transition- something they promised would not take long at all. I had problems with them emailing me back and they were never reading for our appointments when we set them up. However, the DJ was great once I told him the correct playlist.

Worst DJ experience I've ever had. We gave them a list of 20 songs to play within 3 1/2 hours, and they didn't play one single song! Our DJ showed up in nice black slacks and a button up shirt instead of the jeans and boots we requested and were promised (to better fit in with our guests). He showed up an hour late and was our of the reception hall 3 minutes after the reception ended.. the music was too loud even though we asked him on several occasions to turn it down so we could hear ourselves think.. he kept coming up to my husband and me asking us what we wanted to do next. That's what we hired him to do, he was supposed to be the professional. Overall, it was a very very disappointing experience. One that I'm really trying to forget.. and that's not something you should have to do with your wedding.. :(
