From our initial meeting to discuss our party needs & expectations to the incredible event, Aaron has been a delight to work with! He is knowledgeable, attentive and helpful without being pushy. The atmosphere created by the lighting effects captured our guests’ attention as they entered the ballroom, and Aaron’s excellent mixing skills kept our guests entertained all night long! The photo booth provided the perfect memento of this magical evening.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. Right from the start, Aaron was exceptionally professional and made us feel like we were in great hands throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding from across the country is not a simple task, but Aaron took care of everything we asked for and more. Leading up to the event, he made sure that we got him songs we wanted for the ceremony, first dance, last song, etc to ensure we had the music we wanted for those critical moments. For the reception, we provided him a very, VERY basic playlist of what we wanted to dance to (we didn't have time to send him more), and came up with the rest on his own. Our guests all praised him for his music selection, and my husband and I were thrilled at how he organized the flow of the whole event.

We also had a photobooth which was a total hit! Our guests loved it, the photo attendant was super friendly, and it was awesome that our guests could take pictures of themselves home (great party favor) and now my husband and I will have a cd of all those pictures (and video messages!) to keep.

Overall, it was a pleasure working with Aaron and we couldn't have been more pleased with what he contributed to our wedding.

This was our first time using A Night to Remember DJ's and they were awesome. Both DJ Aaron and Ryan were absolute professionals and really customized the music at our wedding to encompass exactly what we wanted. Amazing. They did such a great job. They had perfect dinner music while our 150 guests dined at the Ports O Call Restaurant. Then they turned it up for a lot of fun dancing and games. Yes, Yes, Yes. I would hire them again in a nano-second! We met twice for one hour each prior to the event and their website helped us remember the songs we wanted to play. Would use them again!!! Thank you Ryan for providing such a great night. Also, the video montage of our daughter was so wonderful and all our guests were saying how great the party was. Bravo! I have already given your name to several friends. You were perfect!

We booked Aaron as our DJ on the recommendation of our photographer, and he was amazing! He not only does music, but did the lighting and ran the photo booth as well.

There were guests ranging in age from 3 to 80 years old, with a huge variety of musical tastes, and absolutely everyone said how great the music was. We wanted our guests to be able to make requests, and Aaron managed to work in every single one! He even found instrumental versions of songs when some of the guests wanted to start singing karaoke! There were friends of ours dancing who I have never seen get up and dance at an event!

We have gotten so many compliments about how well our wedding went, and a HUGE part of that is due to Aaron. He helped us come up with the timeline, made lots of helpful suggestions to make our night run more smoothly, and even came down and led the guests in dances! He is also super organized and on top of things, both in the planning, as well as at the actual event. He even provided a spotlight for the wedding cake. I can't highly recommend Aaron highly enough, and I am so grateful we were able to find him!

Quick Story: Our first Dance was to the original French version of, " La Vie En Rose," by Edith Piaf. We wanted to have a short time with just us and invite the rest of the crowd to help us finish the dance. We did, they did and it was great, but as the song was ending, I realized that the occasion for the crowd to join us was way too short. I shot a look over to DJ Ryan and asked him if he could maybe play one more slow song. He just smiled and nodded. In fact, he had ALREADY PLANNED to follow Edith Piaf with Louis Armstrong's version of "La Vie En Rose," which I had never heard before and absolutely turned me, and the rest of the crowd, into a big bowl of mush. Extending the first dance with this song gave me an opportunity to dance with my mom, which she was really looking forward to. These are the moments that separate a DJ, from a Professional DJ/MC and that you will remember.

Throughout the night, he adapted well to the song requests from our guests and a few other things we threw at him during the reception - this was clearly not his first rodeo. Some DJs like to sit behind their table and push play all night, but Ryan was part of the event and was always highly aware of what was going on and most importantly, that everyone was having FUN. And trust me...we did.

DJ Ryan, in collaboration with DJ Aaron made our Wedding Reception truly, "A Night to Remember." I Couldn't recommend this company more highly.

DJ Aaron was one of the endorsed vendors in the Palos Verdes Country Club and he was the most highly recommended by them. Me and my bride was so impressed with Aaron's attention to detail. During the stressful process of planning the whole timeline of the wedding and reception, after our meeting with DJ Aaron, our stress was alleviated. We told DJ aaron our preferences and the rest seems so easy after he put it all together. He was meticulous, from the specific colors of the uplighting, the custom made insigna on the photo booth pictures, and timeline of the whole reception, music preferences according to genre and specific request. He basically run the whole show in the reception. Aaron also worked with our photographer and was able to project the pictures of the wedding ceremony during the reception.
My concern during the reception was that people would not like to go dancing, because my guest comprised of different ages and preferences. I can say DJ Aaron can make anybody dance. He made the whole reception fun. He had wedding games, ice breakers and even lead some of the dances. We even had to extend the time in the country club because people were having such a goodtime , they don't want to leave.
Aaron was the DJ, entertainer and wedding day coordinator all rolled into one. Thank you again DJ Aaron.

They did an absolutely fantastic job with our wedding reception! Our dj was an expert at reading the room and playing the best music for the moment. Everyone was up and dancing and having a fantastic time! For the parts of the reception that he MCed (ie toasts, first dance, entry, etc), he was the perfect DJ. We absolutely would use him again and recommend him to a friend.

If you want a great DJ who is up to date with the latest music and lighting systems, DJ Aaron is the one for the job! He DJ'd our wedding on November 11, 2012 and did a fantastic job. Not only was he a great MC, but his lighting for the room and music was phenomenal!! I would recommend him to everyone!! A Night to Remeber DJ's - Aaron Hillier!!

Aaron was a great DJ. He worked with me promptly and professionally. He was reliable, and setup the music, the wireless microphone system, and speaker systems for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and for the reception. He was also the MC for the reception, and engaged the audience. He also worked with my videographer (a friend who wasn't a professional) to make sure the wireless mic he provided linked up with the video camera. He took care of all the uplights, pin spot light on cake, played wedding games, suggested some changes to the wedding itinerary to make it flow more smoothly, included the projector and screen for our slide show and brought the computer to play it, and even threw in a monogram projected onto the dance floor. And he was very welling to work with us on the price, and I'd say he was a VERY good value. Music was good too and he made a suggestion for change when we picked songs that were not good for a particular purpose (like a girly song for garter toss). If all my vendors were as reliable and helpful as he was, the entire wedding planning would have been a breeze.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I hired a night to remember and thanks to the DJ and the owner of the company, I have nothing but bad memories. The DJ completely screwed up the grand entrance. We had to wait in the hallway for 20 minutes while he scrambled to set up speakers, which one of the two never worked the entire night. I gave him a script to read for introducing the wedding party and he screwed up names, mis-prounounced names, announced my name and forgot to announce the groom's name... and spoke too quickly for anyone to understand. He botched our first dance, he kept walking in front of the speakers with the microphone and it gave screeching feedback. He kept leaving the wedding (presumably to smoke weed because he has panic attacks) and no music or AC/DC would play at periods of time. He screwed up our wedding video so no audio was played....and HE STOLE MY SISTER'S CELLULAR TELEPHONE!!! We found it at his residence the next day. When I requested a refund for the worst DJ service ever, the owner of A Night to Remember refused to give me a full refund, only a partial. Unbelievable.

I feel so lucky to have found Aaron at A Night to Remember Djs. I think the best compliment was that so many of our guests asked us if there was a way to get a playlist of our wedding, because the music was THAT good. Aaron was super responsive, always professional, and so easy to work with. He had awesome suggestions to keep the party going, and was great at working out our timeline for the evening.

It's so easy to see the kind of pride that Aaron takes in his business, from the way he presents himself, to the equipment he uses, to his insanely large music library. He offers completely wireless lighting, plus custom monograms, and he even put together our slide show for us.

He helped make our reception run smoothly, and during a really stressful time, that kind of service is priceless.

Unbelievable and excellent service!!! They really know how to host and get the party started!! Our DJ was amazing he stayed on top of our timeline and special surprises it was an amazing experience.

Aaron and his staff were AMAZING!!! Aaron was hands down the best DJ, he kept the party going and made sure to play all the songs on my playlist! The up lighting and monogram were also fantastic! I really enjoyed how he hosted my event and I didn't have to worry about a thing, he would make sure to come and find me before the cake cutting, bouquet toss etc.

The photo booth was Awesome! My guests absolutely loved it and the attendants were great!

Aaron did a fantastic job on our wedding on Aug 25, 2012. He was great with all of our guest and expecially with the younger generations, he went out and taugh everyone how to dance the cha cha, electric slide, the magarina & so on, they all had a blast with him. Aaron is a perfect DJ/MC for any occasion. He did our wedding reception in July 2012 and it was a complete success thanks to him. My guests said it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever been to. I would definitely hire him again for any occasion in the future.

Aaron at a NIght to Remember DJs saved our wedding! At first we were only going to rent his AV equipment and play music from my Ipod during the whole ceremony to save on costs, but he talked me out of that idea. I'm so glad he did because my wedding wouldn't have been as fun without him! Not only did he DJ our event, but he did the lighting and pretty much created an awesome timeline for us, giving us some great ideas for the ceremony and reception that we never would have thought of ourselves. And he did all of that himself for a great price! He had games for the kids and adults and even brought the materials for them, and he just kept me and my husband in check at all times, making sure we knew what were doing and what was to come.

Aaron is so professional! My fiance kept repeating to me the whole time how professional he was and I got so many compliments from my family members about what a great job he did! Aaron was great! We first met him at a wedding of a friend of ours and he was awesome! He has the perfect personality and is great at getting guests onto the dance floor. His energy level is great and his take charge attitude let us know that he was going to make sure that everything was perfect and on track. His music selection includes everything!

A Night to Remember DJs was a great choice...These guys just knew exactly what we wanted, from our music selection to the lighting effects in the venue, everything was on point. Wow! I can not say enough good things about Aaron. He was absolutely incredible and got all my guests up on the dance floor dancing. I was worried about the older folks sitting there watching but Aaron was so motivated and he even got out on the dance floor with us. He was incredible the whole night.

Aaron was great! My schedule made it very difficult for me and my husband to meet him in person, but he was very responsive over email and answered my endless questions. His website was great and allowed us to pick what songs we definitely wanted to hear, and what we definitely didn't want to hear at the wedding.

We met with Aaron a week before the wedding to iron out the fine details and discuss lighting. Aaron spend several hours with us going through each detail of the wedding timeline, song choices, pronunciation of wedding party names, song genres for dinner and dancing, and even uplight placement and color. He was so patient with us in choosing the lighting color to make sure we were going to be happy with every detail.

At the wedding, Aaron did an amazing job. All of our guests were dancing, and we heard from everyone how great the DJ was. We didn't want any sort of games or gimmicks in our reception, and Aaron didn't even try to suggest them. He kept the party going all night, and made the wedding so much fun and unforgettable!

I found Aaron through my sister who attended a wedding 6 months before I got engaged. She was so impressed, she snagged his card and said call him when I began my vendor selection. I already knew I wanted someone local to San Pedro and after meeting Aaron, it was a done deal. Aaron lets you be involved as much as you want and the best part was he kept the night moving, keeping to the timeline I provided, I did not have to worry about anything, a true professional. I also found my photographer through Aaron and they worked together to present a instant slide show of the wedding during our cocktail hour. That was really cool. Highly recommend Aaron!

After a wedding there are always things you regret and things you know were worth it. This was on my WORTH IT list! Aaron is not just an amazing individual who is professional, funny, friendly & trustworthy but he is also an outstanding DJ ! I was already confident that he would do a great job and he did, he went beyond his tasks as a DJ and really made everything run smoothly and everyone kept dancing and enjoying! Aaron(who is the owner of night to remember) is an amazing dj. His website makes it very easy to pick your own playlist. Also he meets with you before hand and makes sure you feel comfortable with the song choices for first dances. He also makes sure to email you a timeline for the reception just to double check that everything is the way you want it. He is very involved and he kept the party going for as long as we wanted that night.
