A Non-Denominational Ceremony (Venus Kitagawa-Stojsic)

Venus is a wonderful, honest and a hard working person. She will make sure she goes to the ends of the earth to make sure you are happy. If you are wondering about her, just wait until you meet her. I can't say enough about how happy we were with her. Venus's personality is really contagious and even my family thought highly of her. All you have to do is meet her and you will not have to go to anyone else. The other thing that was a good point about Venus is that she is green. Not her skin but the way she does business. All her forms are downloaded instead of her handing you a pack of forms that you may lose. All the information she sends to you is electronic!

Venus was sweet and good at contacting us prior to the wedding, but she didn't show up for the wedding rehearsal when she told me she would. Although she wrote a rough draft for the ceremony from the questionnaire we answered, what she wrote was choppy and amateur and i ended up rewriting the entire ceremony. Her cost was average compared to other officiants, but expensive for what she did for our ceremony. I might as well have paid a friend to be ordained because she was utterly forgettable.

Venus is a ordained non-denominational minister, and is a absolute sweetheart. She is extremely helpful and will help you receive the personlized ceremony that you dream of. Venus was in touch with us for a few month before the wedding and always responded to our emails and was wonderful the day of the wedding. She helped us create the perfect personlized ceremony that both my Husband and I wanted. We could not have chosed a better person to marry us.

We had a wonderful time with Venus! We met with her a few times prior to the rehersal and she was very efficient with everything! She was even able to incorporate a Sake Ceremony for us at the last minute! We couldn't ask for anyone better than Venus!!

We would recommend Venus to all of our friends and family.

Venus is a great officiant/celebrant. She's very personable and friendly, has a great voice, and can help you put together the ceremony that you want to have. She has some questionnaires to help elicit your thoughts and descriptions of your relationship, and she can help you plan the general outline of your ceremony. We also planned everything very last-minute, and she was great at managing that and keeping everything moving smoothly in our ceremony-writing process.

Areas that could be improved: The ceremony draft that she writes for you includes a lot of copy/paste from your questionnaire responses, which doesn't really lend itself to a ceremony text. We ended up re-writing most of the ceremony text, but her draft was definitely helpful in organizing the format and rough ideas. Also, correspondence is sometimes a little slow for our last-minute planning, but communication overall was good and got the job done!

As soon as we met Venus, we knew she was the officiant for us! She was so kind and personable, but the thing that stood out the most, was that she was so genuine. She did not come off as a salesperson, she really seemed to care about making the ceremony the exact way we wanted it. She kept in contact throughout the whole process and we were able to read the ceremony a week before the wedding and make changes to it so that there were no surprises at the wedding and we knew exactly what we would be getting. The ceremony was very personal and definetly one of a kind! I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

If you are looking for a truly personal experience when it comes to creating a ceremony that is right for you, Venus is your officiant. She is the kind of person you could chat for hours with about life... a very personable and intelligent person.

What I find the most unique about Venus's expertise is that she is able to incorporate all kinds of ceremonies and traditions into your wedding in order to make your day right for you. She is reasonably priced and very professional. She will work on your ceremony until it is exactly how you want it!!!

I knew that Venus was the officiant for us because she is non-judgmental and truly believes this ceremony is for you and your partner and should be preformed according to your preferences. Venus is VERY flexible and can give you the type of ceremony you want, whether it is traditional or not.

My husband and I wanted something that was gender neutral and non-religious that also included our different personalities and backgrounds. Venus more than delivered!
It was difficult to find someone who would put in the time and effort to create a ceremony that was personalized for us. Most clergy and officiants have their ceremonies created ahead of time and do not change much. I even met someone who presented three different ceremonies like it was a menu. (Would you like "beef, chicken, or fish"?) These types of officiants claim to be flexible, but when I asked them if they could make the ceremony non-religious, they refused. Unlike these types, Venus does not let her own opinions get in the way of how you envision your ceremony.

Don't settle for the scripts that other officiants write and recycle for every wedding they officiate! Make your day as unique as your relationship is!
