They did a great job with both music and videographing everything although we haven't seen our video yet but I know it'll be great. They were very easy to work with and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

We hired DJ Paul Drake for a fundraiser event in May- To Raise Awareness of Connective Tissue Disorders/ Fundraiser for Ehlers Danlos National Foundation/ Belly Dance Show in Schaumburg. He was very easy to work with & made the event run smoothly. Very reasonably priced for his years of experience! I had no problems making contact prior to the event to discuss details. We would reccomend his DJ services & will be contacting him for our next event.

We have used Paul Drake as our DJ for our bowling banquet for the past several years. Paul is awesome to work with and makes the night fun with great music. He reads the crowd well and knows just what to play at the right time. I highly recommend him. Keep up the great work Paul!!!

My wife and I wrote the below 0.0 review for our wedding on 7-26-08. Recently we were contacted by Paul Drake regarding the review. We wrote it seveal days after the event, and having now been seveal months removed from it, were asked to reconsider the harshness of our comments.

Postive: This was a great value for the cost we paid. This was originally our main factor in hiring his services. We explained our detailed music requests in advance, and he assured us it would not be a problem. He was very easy going and casual to work with. He was also able to be provide us with additional video equipment on short notice. On the day of the ceremony he was prompt, and the set up was well done. He played very classy music during the outdoor ceremony, and even agreed to stay longer at the end of the night, as people were still dancing.

Negative: We had a very difficult time contacting him the weeks and days prior to the event. We e-mailed and left several messages, that were never returned. We purchased several songs we wanted played that the dj did not have, and mailed him the copies of it, all at our expense. This music was not played at all. Included in this music was a spefic version of a song our entire wedding party had learned a dance to and practiced for months. He played the wrong version of the song, which threw the entire dance off, causing us all to be out of synch. We also sent the phoenic spelling of our wedding party's names prior to the wedding, but were upset to find he was asking our party to provide this info as they were standing in the line to be introduced. We asked the dj on several occasions during the night to start certain things, such as the video montage, garter toss, etc. This may have been pickiness on our part, but it caused us great distress to conduct our own event on what was supposed to be an otherwise carefree day.

DJ- Pleasant to deal with. Very friendly and fun. Didn't play a lot of the music we requested.
Videography- Neat effects. Audio was not great during ceremony part.
Photography- A lot of nice shots. Most ceremony shots are very blurry. Pleasant to deal with though.

Everything was great, the price was right, my only complaint was that they played a song on my do not play list, but at that point I didn't really mind.

I can't say enough about the services that were provided. We did not seek them out first. We went to a company called Sounds Music, who took our $100 deposit, and then cashed it and claimed they never got it. Paul Drake himself took $100 off of my DJ services for the troubles with the other company, and through in all the extra's as well. Wow! Never thought that would happen.

He paid great attention to our wants. Went out of his way to make sure that all the music was played as we asked, and when we asked. He was very entertaining and keep all the people on the dance floor.

When he introduced the wedding party, he did an very professional job.

I have been to many many weddings since 1989 and use Paul Drake and Paul Drake Products as the Gold Standard to compare other DJ's by.

None of the work I have seen by others, even come close to the professional quality done by him.

Paul and Cheryl offered to do a video job for us. We declined, not due to their quality or money, but fear from what we what seen from other videos.

We wished we had gone with the service, and when I mentioned that to them, they took our videos from friends and complied a very very professional video from the poor quality videos I gave them. The charge was extremely reasonable.
