A Piece of Cake

A Piece Of Cake was bought about a year ago by a lady named Shae and took a turn for the worse. I would NOT recommend her AT ALL. She was late for our meetings, would never answer my phone calls, and when she went out of business she neglected to tell me. I found out she was working from home about 4 days before the wedding, so I had no choice but to use her even though I was furious with her. Although the cakes looked good, she lacks the professionalism and service needed in this type of industry. Don't use her!

We got the best wedding cake ever and A Piece of Cake really did a nice job for us. The wedding cake was designed with lovely frosting flowers all over it. They used the colors we wanted and also the cake was flavored just how we wanted it to be. My wedding guests were impressed with our wedding cake and so was both of us as it tasted great. We couldn’t of asked for any better of an wedding cake than what we got as it really was nice. They were nice to have done our wedding cake and if we had to do it all over again we would go back to them for our wedding cake.

A Piece of Cake was very easy to work with. They had different setups so you can actually see how big your cake was going to be and they have several different styles of cake. They were a little pricy for me but I got both cakes for $700.

A Piece of Cake provided not only a beautiful, but delicious cake! My husband and I met with and describe our ideal cake to Karen and the results were far beyond what we could have imagined. I recommend this business for anyone getting married who does not want the hassle of micro managing and can just relax and know that a great job will be done!

The vendor was perfect! The cake was far better than what we ever imagined and tasted amazing! The design was more beautiful than we could have ever thought. We loved everything about working with this vendor.

I absolutely LOVED my wedding cake from A Piece of Cake. They have a smaller bakery on Hwy 31 in Pelham and have incredibly reasonable prices. Our cake was beautiful, exactly what I wanted, and it tasted great too. I set up an appointment with them and went to taste test different kinds of cake. Each one tasted great, so I had to make a hard decision. They also had photo albums of cakes that they have done over the years and I used a combination of different pieces from previous cakes. It turned out great. I purchased my own cake topper there in the store and I rented a cake stand from them, so those were some additional costs I had to add to the cost of the cake. They took care of all delivery, set up, staffing during the reception and clean up. Highly recommended!

A piece of cake did our wedding cake, “groom’s cake” (which was actually a chocolate fountain with all the dipping sides) as well as cheese & cracker trays and fruit trays, so they pulled “double duty” with the cake and as catering as well. It was another favorite of all our guests. I had several comments after the wedding about how good it was. It was even good after being frozen a year at our anniversary! If you do use them I would suggest getting the cream cheese icing. It’s slightly more expensive than the traditional buttercream, but well worth it. They also took care of all delivery, set up, staffing during the reception and clean up.

My wedding cake was GORGEOUS!!! It was better than the picture I showed them of what I wanted it to look like, and it was delicious! We hardly had any left. Highly recommend!!!
