The older woman who styled my hair was absolutely amazing. And my hair looked fabulous. She is very experienced, because she has been in the business for something like 50 years. She did updos back in the 50s and 60s when it was a regular weekend experience to have your hair styled for a date or party. She knows every trick in the book. My hair is straight, fine and slick, and nothing will hold it in place. It always falls out. My hair (and tiara) stayed completely intact even through 2 hours of straight dancing at the reception (including swing dancing). That says something. It cost $70, including the consultation the day before, but it was worth it!
