We simply can't say enough good things about Rev Mark and Jeanie. They were wonderful throughout the entire process--from our initial meeting to planning the ceremony to the wedding day! Rev Mark always responded to us quickly and thoughtfully. We did not have a traditional ceremony and were initially a little nervous about the process of creating one. Rev Mark helped to create a ceremony that was truly a reflection of us a couple and was, simply, everything we wanted it to be. Rev Mark is warm, genuine, and funny--the perfect mix for our ceremony. Not only did we love him but our guests loved him too! In fact, many of our guests thought that we had known him forever and commented on the personal touches in our ceremony. We would highly recommend him to anyone! Thanks again!

Reverend Mark and his wife, Jeannie, are incredible. They are supportive, open and kind, and they guide nervous couples through the marriage process seamlessly. They have such a love for each other and their happiness just radiates. You can't help but feel happy around them.

When I visited their website for the first time, the first thing I saw was a Shel Silverstein quote from his poem "Hug O' War" and I immediately felt compelled to research them more. When I came across another quote on their website saying that they believed everyone, regardless of race, creed, gender or sexual orientation, deserved a beautiful wedding, I knew I'd found our officiant.

They created an absolutely beautiful, personal ceremony for me and my husband and it really made the day so incredibly lovely. It was the right amount of sentimentality, humor and romance. It was just perfect. I cannot speak of this couple highly enough. Two wonderful human beings. We were so lucky to have found them.

We first met Mark and Jeanie back in June, a few months before the actual ceremony. They were very warm and cordial and put us at ease immediately. It was an informal get together where they got to know us personally while also helping to steer us toward possibilities for our wedding.
During the next few months, we touched base with them several times via email to gain advice as well as to solidify the plans for our big day.
On the day of the actual ceremony, both of them were enormously helpful by guiding people to where they were supposed to be as well as maintaining a semblance of order as we were pulled in many different directions. Mark again put as at ease with his affable nature while performing the ceremony, making us as comfortable as possible.
Not only would we highly recommend them, there were many guests that night who personally told us how much they liked the way their contributions made everything smoother as well as fun!

When we first got in touch with Mark we had some general requirements for the wedding ceremony, but had not thought through all of the specifics. Mark was very accommodating and provided us with lots of suggestions and assistance in planning out our ceremony. In the end, it was perfect for us and this is largely due to Mark's suggestions. He encouraged us to try writing personal vows when we were initially uncertain (something that looking back, we're really happy we did) and he based his introduction on a quote which was so perfect for me and my husband that most of our friends and family assumed that we picked it out ourselves.

Mark has a charm and presence that helped make our wedding personal, charming and fun. Jeanie was also very involved in the preparation and even took some extra wedding pictures for us on the day.

Mark and Jeanie were both great. Everyone at our ceremony loved Mark and the sense of humor and personal feel he brought. Jeanie was so helpful in making sure we all got to where we needed to be and when :-)

Mark and Jeanie were fantastic to work with! Its hard to know where to start! They had so many options to choose from to add to our ceremony to make it meaningful for us that my husband and I were not sure we could pick, but with their help we worked out a ceremony that was most definitely us! Jeanie also did our fruit and vegetable cocktail hour trays, I didn't get to see them in person but everyone loved them and the pictures of them look fantastic! Such a great job! The rehearsal was such a nice option to have available to us, it really helped us (at least me) really not feel nervous. We could not have picked a better officiant and wife ;) to marry us. I was looking for someone who could perform a non-religious ceremony, but would still be able to help us personalize something that was more than just a quick Justice of the Peace civil ceremony. My husband & I weren't interested in having a friend or family member perform the ceremony, so we were scrambling to find someone. Cost was also a HUGE factor, because we were paying for the majority of the wedding ourselves. Every other company or officiant that I found that seemed to show promise were $500 or higher. I was SO happy when I found A Simple Vow through a friend - they had booked Mark & Jeanie for their wedding, and the day after their wedding, I was looking up A Simple Vow and contacting them about MY wedding.
Mark & Jeanie met with us and worked with us on the ceremony, going through multiple drafts and revising and RE-revising everytime I changed something...at least 3 or 4 times. What we ended up with was an officiant and a coordinator that really made our wedding ceremony amazing, perfect, and about US. With 4 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, 1 Mother of the Bride, 1 Father of the Bride, and 1 Mother of the Groom, Jeanie kept everyone under control, everything on schedule, organized, and she took pictures of the ceremony too! Mark did a FANTASTIC job with the ceremony itself - we received SO many compliments on the ceremony, and I know it would not have been NEARLY as fabulous with any other officiant. If you are looking for an officiant, you CANNOT go wrong with A Simple Vow. Below is an email I sent to Mark & Jeanie shortly after we got back from our honeymoon.

Hello! I know it is late (or early, depending on how you look at it) but we just returned from our honeymoon a few days ago and I am still stuck on Hawaii time, so it feels like 930pm to me!

I am sending notes out to everyone in the next few days, but I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the OUTSTANDING job both of you did for our wedding. My husband and I were so thrilled with everything....ok, I was thrilled. Boys don't get 'thrilled' but he was as close to thrilled as a guy gets. The two of you were amazing from start to finish - throughout the planning process, with all of my last minute changes, with certain members of our families making things not so easy.... I just cannot tell how easy and effortless you both made the actual wedding part of our day. I had problems with several vendors on my wedding day, but everything went perfectly with our ceremony, mainly because of the two of you. My father, who I didn't really expect to enjoy any of my wedding day, LOVED the ceremony and couldnt say enough about what a great job you did. My mother was VERY worried about how the ceremony was going to be - she couldnt wrap her mind around anything except the words "civil ceremony" and kept picturing some type of quickie J.O.P. ceremony - she was VERY surprised and VERY happy with how our wedding was. And his mom....all I can say is WOW. Even I was ready to kill her (or at least send her home) by midmorning, but Jeannie, you handled her better than anyone else could! We received SO MANY compliments on the ceremony itself - how it fit US and it was the perfect mix of serious and lighthearted. Our wedding ceremony was everything we could've asked for, and more....Again, thank you SO much!

I cannot express how delighted my guests, my husband and I were with the services provided by Rev Mark and Jeanine. Our ceremony was personalized and beautifully touching. Rev Mark surprised us with a phenomenal lead up to our first kiss, and it was the most memorable part of my wedding! Rev Mark is absolutely amazing he is very easy going. He makes the ceremony planning fun and easy. He helped my husband and I plan a beautiful ceremony that was heartfelt and fun. His wife Jeannie was also amazing. She takes amazing photos. If you are looking for an inexpensive photographer that is still amazing she is who you need! She also made our hand fasting cord which was beautiful. She was also invovled in every step of the planning, along with the coordinating the rehearsal and playing the part of our day of coordinator. This couple is definately the best vendor we dealt with during our wedding planning. They were amazing!!!

Jeanie and Mark are such a power team. Mark really makes sure he gets to know the couple so he can incorporate details to create a very intimate and warm ceremony. He was so helpful in planning our ceremony, yet gave us the freedom to write part of the ceremony so it was the perfect balance. I completely trusted Jeanie to get all of our bridal party and guests in order at the rehearsal and actual ceremony. We had to revert to Plan B due to inclimate weather and Jeanie sprung to action by lining everyone up and making sure the ceremony ran smoothly. We were both getting married for the 2nd time and wanted a meaningful ceremony. My husband had been previously married in a Catholic church but I had been married by a JP. I wanted a ceremony which God would be a part of and we got just that. Both of our children were also included in the cderemony and everyone that attended told me how beautiful the ceremony was. I was so happy with the whole process. You receive a package of verses, types of ceremonies, etc. to choose from. I would definetly say that A Simple Vow was the best part of my wedding.

Rev Mark & his wife Jeannie did an amazing job at our wedding. It's a little scary having someone officiate when you're not 100% sure of every word they'll say during that "middle" section (you of course choose all of the words for MOST of the ceremony, but there's always the section where the officiant, whether a priest or whoever, gives their sermon part in the middle and you don't write that part!) -- but there was nothing to worry about with Rev. Mark. His sermon was perfect, not religious (which is what we requested), and he added just the right amount of "lightness" to it, without going too far, which is something you just kind of have to trust when deciding on an officiant. He got to know us better than I expected or realized during our meetings, and really knew the right things to say during the sermon. I was nervous, because my husband is a little more reserved than me, and my concern when choosing an officiant was that they might say or joke "too much" and my husband wouldn't like it. But that wasn't the case- it was perfect. I highly recommend Rev Mark!!

I loved having Mark & Jeannie as our officiants. They're genuinely nice people who want to help, and they're very easy to get ahold of if you have any questions. They were always willing to help with anything we needed. We aren't religious, and I wanted a ceremony that would reflect our personalities without being too long or over the top. Mark came up with a ceremony that fit with what we wanted, exactly, and we got many compliments afterward on the brevity & content of the ceremony.

Jeannie ran the rehearsal and I really don't know what I would have done without her. There was a bit of a schedule mixup, but Jeannie found a solution quickly and I couldn't have been more appreciative. She added a lot of sorely needed input, and helped us feel at ease with how things would run. They are a fantastic team and their prices are super reasonable.

We were incredibly happy to work with Rev Mark & Jeanie. They made our small day feel big and special; we couldn't have been more touched by the ceremony or pleased with their services than we were. Chap. Mark and Jeanie DeNuzzio were absolutely wonderful. We were truly amazed how accommodating they were, especially since our wedding, although very simple, was planned at the last minute, and took place the day after Christmas. In fact, Jeanie even helped us set up our video camera and tripod, an idea that we hadn’t even thought up until we were on our way to their home where our ceremony took place. I can honestly say that thanks in no small part to Mark and Jeanie, we were very comfortable from the time we arrived and throughout our wedding.

Rev Mark and Jeanie were great! They have a sense of humor which makes it fun to deal with them, yet they take what they do seriously. Most importantly, they want your ceremony to be a reflection of your relationship, with the "official" touches that make it all legal. We chose our own readings, etc., and they made this easy, too, by having a veritable library of choices. They inspired us to have the confidence to write our own vows, yet were there with the ready assist if we needed them. I cant say enough good things... everyone remarked at how relaxed yet personal our ceremony was, and we really feel that the Rev Mark and Jeanie package was the catalyst that made it possible. They encouraged us to be ourselves and let it shine through...
Also, they are really good at the other stuff, too. Jeanie can put a bridezilla at ease in no time flat, and she knows the answers to the questions that come up. Trust me, ...that is invaluable to a bride! They are professional, personally accessible, and very responsive. Choose them, hands down!

We had a very simple ceremony at Phipps yesterday. I couldn't tell you how I found Mark and Jeannie, but I'm glad I did. I planned everything from my iPhone while in bed with a bad cold! One of them always responded to my emails within minutes and answered all my questions. We set up a meeting a few days before our wedding and by the time I left, I felt like my best friends were marrying us. They are such nice people and made us very comfortable. Mark kept the service simple like we wanted and Jeanie took pictures. We are expecting a baby in December and Jeanie said to contact her for our newborn photos. I certainly will! Not that I plan on getting married again, but if I did, I would call them! I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Mark did a beautiful job at our ceremony. He was very flexible, helpful and creative. We wanted to have a non-religious ceremony focused on my husband and I's relationship and love and he did just that without a fuss or judgment. Jeanie was a wonder woman at helping me organize and was always available to me for any questions I had. All I had to do was shoot her a message on facebook or even chat with her. It made it so easy and worked in creating a very casual and friendly relationship. Jeanie also took a lot of pictures during the ceremony and had them posted for me next day on Facebook, I really appreciated that. Honestly, I couldn't recommend them more especially if you're looking for a customized and personal experience. They are a great couple to work with.

Absolutely outstanding! Mark and Jeanie (and their daughter) provided wonderful services! We hired them as an officiant and got SO much more! Rev Mark and his wife Jeanie are amazing wedding professionals and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! From the start, Rev Mark was very helpful in answering all of our questions. For example, when we first emailed him, he was already booked for the date/time we orignally were looking at for our wedding, however he offered his help in finding another officiant for us that would be available. We ended up changing our date/time and booked Rev Mark which helped us create a beautiful ceremony :) Jeanie was also awesome, as they are a husband-wife team that work wonderful together! A Simple Vow is also an incredible value. They are priced very attractively compared to other officiants in the area and are very generous with their time. They are totally flexible regarding your vows (we plucked language from all sorts of places, including reference materials they provided) so we feel like we were able to craft a ceremony that truly reflected who we are as a couple. My husband and I were married in South Park at the gazebo, on the recommendation of Mrs. Denuzzio. The ceremony was about ten minutes long, and absolutely beautiful. We had no idea of how the procession would work out, but Mark and Jeanie explained it all (neither of us had been at a wedding before) and helped us out immensely. I have yet to see the photos Jeanie took because our wedding was this past friday, but from the way she directed us and our bridal party, I'm sure they will be perfect. Both the Reverend and his wife were kind, courteous, and respectful, and without them our day wouldn't have worked out the way it did.

My husband and I got married on Super Bowl Sunday with over 2 ft of snow on the ground. The roads were still not in the best of conditions & we worried about our guests as well as Rev. Mark being able to make it safely. Despite the weather Rev. Mark & his wife Jeanie made it to Phipps Conservatory and gave us a beautiful service, it was exactly what we wanted. Revs. Mark and Jeanie DeNuzzio helped make our wedding day so memorable. I have no idea what we would have done without them! Rev. Mark was wonderful to work with through the process of creating a ceremony and is such a genuine person - this was not "just another wedding" to either him or Jeanie. They both put all of their efforts into making sure our ceremony, and then our reception, ran smoothly. We never experienced one of those horrifying moments, when something really important went to peices, and this is truly because of Mark and Jeanie. Rev. Mark also acted as the emcee for our reception, making the announcements that were important to us, since we hired a pianist instead of a DJ for entertainment. Jeanie is a master at coordinating a wedding ceremony - everyone and thing was in place before I walked down the stairs. I didn't have to worry about anything, as I was in very capable hands. That said, our ceremony was lovely. I cried like crazy & Rev. Mark even had a hanky for my tears :-)

Rev. Mark was great! Our original officiant fell through 2 weeks before our wedding and we were having trouble finding someone on such short notice. I met Rev Mark 2 weeks before my wedding while I was photographing another wedding that Rev Mark was officiating. We got to talking and I told him of our situation.

This husband and wife team is excellent. They'll sit down with you and work out your ceremony however you'd like. They provide traditional suggestions to get you started, but in the end, you have the final say. They were also willing to do a bit of travel, on a Sunday no less.
