Not the traditional, stuffy, posed wedding shots you are used to seeing! Their pictures are a little more modern and artistic. I emailed Heidi - the main photographer - and had a response within 24 hours. She is extremly fast and helpful. She will even help you with the wedding timeline for the best photo opportunities! Definately an A+!!

Heidi was wonderful to work with for both our engagement photos as well as the wedding and the pictures came out beautifully. I will be using her again in the future for any family photos or photography needs. You won't be disappointed to have her capture any special memories!

Heidi was the photographer for my sister's wedding and I knew when I got engaged I wouldn't consider anyone else. She is great to work with and captures the most beautiful moments. My husband is not a big fan of taking pictures and he said Heidi made him feel so comfortable he sometimes forgot she was there taking pictures.

Heidi was wonderful from the very first phone call as I was planning my entire wedding long-distance. She was insistent on the engagement photos and it ended up being more helpful than I ever imagined as we were totally comfortable with her on the day of the wedding and she knew what kind of photos we would be happy with. She was incredibly professional and patient with mine and my husband's quirky family. I opted to have both her and her associate Grant at my wedding which was nice as I had pictures from multiple perspectives that really ended up telling the story through pictures. I have friends and family that are professional photographers and they were all very impressed with her pictures. She was able to portray our feelings for each other in pictures without it looking staged. I highly recommend her!!

Heidi is an absolutely incredible photographer! She took my engagement and wedding photos and each and every picture captured memorable moments in the most beautiful and breathtaking way possible. Her pictures are absolutely striking! She was a joy to have at our wedding. She is so sweet that I would have wanted her there as a guest as well as a photographer, so she made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. When we have children, we will be coming to Heidi for all of our photos without a doubt--no matter where we are living!

Heidi is an amazing photographer, we were amazed with the quality of her work. We were unsure of whether we were going to be able to get married because of the 2007 wild fires, needless to say there was some stress the morning of our wedding. It was so diffiuclt to select from all of the amazing shots when it came time to order pictures. A Slice of Life Photography (then known as HRH Photography) was absolutely fantastic! Heidi met with us beforehand, we got to know her and immediately felt comfortable and at ease... She photographed us (we used the 2 photographer package) and captured the essence of our entire day. Talented is not a good enough word to describe Heidi - she's a miracle! Her genuinely happy, bubbly personality made everyone like her instantly but when we got the proofs, we kept getting comments from friends and family "they are the best wedding photographs we've ever seen!" Our wedding album is so unique, a piece of artwork in itself, that many people have gotten her contact info for their special occasions. We cannot recommend her enough -- we were on a budget but splurged in this area and cut back in others, and we made the right decision! We are thrilled with the services we received.

I am super un-photogenic and between Heidi and Grant I got over 800 gorgeous images from which to choose. Love the photojournalistic style. We initially chose Heidi because her rate is so reasonable but it's after the contract that you really get to know someone. She was able to charm my demanding father, she was unobtrusive during the wedding and reception (you know how some photogs are), and she was more than generous with package and album arrangement and pricing. She was more patient than I expected with the delays and mulling that went into my album and I have a gorgeous finished product to show for it. We have since used her for a session with my in-laws for a family portrait and also for new baby pics. Heidi, as always, was flexible with appointment times, photo shoot location, and most importantly--continues to take fabulous photos.

Heidi is a keeper. She has magically captured life's milestones for my family starting with my engagement, wedding (Heidi & Grant) and now my children. Her talent shines in her work and her ability to communicate both verbally and on canvas. Heidi is always my #1 referral.
