First and foremost, the cake was fantastic. All our guests enjoyed the cake very much. However, the lack of communication between myself and the bakery, was to me, not worth the business.
In the beginning, the bakery was very responsive as far as booking our tasting. About 3 months before the wedding, I reached out to the bakery just to touch base (Check when my payment was due, finalize the plans, etc.). I left voicemails and sent emails and did not hear anything back for almost 2 weeks. When I did get a response, she informed me she was out of town and would email me all the info the next day. It was over a week later I heard anything back and that was only because I sent another round of emails. After the wedding, I sent the bakery an email and let them know I was dropping the cake stand off at her house and asked about the anniversary cake she claims to give every couple. It has been 9 days and I have received no response.
I tried to be very understanding throughout this process and in the end, the cake did show up for the wedding day and was exceptional but as I said before, I don't feel the hassle is the worth a good tasting cake. Planning a wedding is very stressful in itself. Having to chase your vendors around is a burden that is NOT needed!

It has taken me over a year to write this review to take the emotion out of it. I would not recommend this vendor for your wedding. My only request was I don't like fondant please don't use a lot of it. I was told that the fondant used was a high quality and would be used minimally. My cake had so much fondant on it (3.2" to be exact) that we couldn't cut our wedding cake! How embarrassing. I was unable to reach the vendor for days either via email or phone, she calls me approximately 3 days before our wedding to say, "good news I can do your cake, I hurt my knee and have not been able to do anything" WHAT? I should have been called when she was hurt to find another vendor, I feel our wedding cake suffered because of this and was not what we paid for. We were told that on our one year anniversary she provides an anniversary cake so that we don't have to freeze our top ayer f our wedding cake...To date we have not heard from her. :(
Very poor service and for such an important event as a wedding, I would go elsewhere for piece of mind.
