A Beautiful Affair

I am soo glad we hired her for her Day of Event services. I didn't have to worry about a thing. She never got irritated with me, even when I called her crying very late at night. She calmed my down and told me not to worry, she will take care of it. (We had some crazy relative issues!) She was reasonably priced and worked in our budget, our pretty small budget! Kay took care of everything for me, so I could concentrate on getting married. I was very comfortable with her, and she really understood my vision! I could not have done it without her!

In the week leading up to my wedding, I nicknamed Jessica my "wedding angel." It may sound silly, but she really was! My DH and I were on a tight bugdget with dreams and visions of a grand wedding. This led me to taking on as many DIY projects as possible. As the wedding became closer and closer, I started thinking about set-up and all the details that needed looking after. I really freaked. I knew that I couldn't do it myself and I really didn't want any of my friends or family to do it because they were guests...I wanted them to enjoy our wedding, not work.

In a panic, I searched for a DOC. With only 3 weeks left til the wedding, my options were limited. Jessica responded very quickly. Her professionalism and friendly attitude really eased my nerves. From our very initial contact, I knew that I could trust Jessica to execute our vision and handle my countless DIY projects.

Our wedding was really and truly more than we imagined and we owe Jessica for making it happen. I was so calm and relaxed and was able to enjoy every moment of the day! That wouldn't have been possible without Jessica there working tirelessly all day and late into the night. She really had her work cut out for her. In addition to the typical tasks of a DOC, I had all my DIY stuff that needed to be set-up and placed AND we had a nightmare venue. Without Jessica, our wedding could have been disasterous. Throughout the day, evening and into the night, Jessica remained up-beat, on task, and very professional. Her attention to detail is invaluable!

My DH and I have had numerous guests comment how impressive our coordinator was. Even our florist was impressed and has asked for her contact info for referrals. Hiring her was the best decision we made in the entire process of planning! My DH and I are beyond grateful that we had Jessica there working for us. We truly can't thank her enough for all that she did for us.

Jessica was fabulous!! We initially hired Jess becuase we were having trouble with the onsite coordinator. It's a good thing we did too...we would NOT have been able to do any of this with out Jessica's help. She was a complete life-saver and went above and beyond...called taxi cabs for my guests, came to the hotel to check on us, and when I realized that I had forgotten my garter...she went to the mall and found me one!! I can't rave enough about her. From the moment I met her, I felt a weight lifted off of me, my instincts were right, becuase she was totally on top of everything!!

I didn't even think I needed a DOC, but once I realized all the little details involved in the setup and coordination, I called A Beautiful Affair (and other coordinators. She responded soo quickly! I was very impressed with her! As it gets closer to the wedding, I start to panic more! I'm not all that into planning, and this wedding is giving me a heart attack! So my fiance and I decided it would be worth it to upgrade to her partial coordination service. Our wedding is in August, so I will update everyone soon!

My husband and I keep talking (1 month later!) about how glad we are that we hired Jessica of A Beautiful Affair Events. Honestly, the best wedding decision we made. I thought that hiring a DOC was out of the question for budget and my own "control issues" (haha!), but about 90 days before the wedding, I realized that I really needed HELP and that I didn't want to worry about a thing on the wedding day. 100% achieved with the help of Jessica, plus her pricing is very affordable. She was so sweet and professional and implemented every little detail flawlessly. No job was too big or too small. I had 6 ft trees that needed to be transported to the site -- No problem! I had 48 tiny tealights to be set up -- again, no problem! Take it from me, Jessica will remember everything, take care of you and everyone else. You will love her for it!
