There are those days when you need things to be, well, right. They can't be pretty good and they can't be close. You need to have confidence that you have the right person on the job. That's what we got when we hired Allen. It was easy to tell he'd be good from our first interview. His professionalism was immediately apparent, but what impressed us at that first meeting was his perspective. He was eager to hear our wishes and share how he could help us fulfill those wishes, but what we didn't expect was how he shared his years of experience. He suggested details that kept our guests engaged, touches that helped make the day more personal and most of all steered us from songs that he knew would clear the dance floor while suggesting others that would get everyone shaking it, no matter how unlikely it seemed. He also gave us discrete heads-ups so that we knew how we were doing on the timeline and what was coming next.

When we walked into the reception and were introduced his voice rang out like a boxing announcer's. Our guests were as roused by it as we were; his voice filled the room only to be overtaken by the applause of our friends and family. Timely, unobtrusive, considerate, conscientious and hard working, he was the grease that kept our day moving perfectly and we couldn't be more grateful for the contribution he made to a day better than I could have imagined.

I wish we had another opportunity to hire him sometime soon.

I have to thank Allen for my reception being a success! We wanted not only someone to play music but really Emcee the evening too, and we chose well! Allen is worth every penny. The dance floor was FLOODED with people! He went over every reception detail, the timeline, learned how to pronounce last names correctly. Superb at announcing grand entrance, toasts, first dance, anniversary dance, & cake cutting. My guests always knew when they should grab their camera. I can’t thank him enough for making my reception wonderful for everyone, young and old alike. I’ll be hiring him in the future for any large parties I'll have.

My mom I met with several DJs in the area and both felt very comfortable with Allen the first time we met him. He is very organized and approachable so I constantly felt that his expertise would guide the event while still allowing personal touches that represented my fiance and I. It is vital that you choose an emcee like Allen, he will highlight the most important events and make sure all of your guests are involved throughout the evening- not just play music. I felt like he really read the crowd well so that the dance floor was constantly full. I received compliments on Allen's performance from guests of all ages. Finally, Allen's experience helped our reception to flow perfectly as he managed to fix minor hotel and in-law flaws so that no one noticed and I was able to relax and dance the night away!

After the introductory call with Allen it was clear that he was the DJ for me! He was very familiar with my reception site which made me very comfortable because he knew where he would set up and the exact equipment he would need. The second reason I liked Allen was because he understood the type of reception I wanted to have. The third reason we chose Allen was because not only was he going to be our DJ, but he was also going to help us with the timliness of events from our ceremony to our reception. For example, after the ceremony, he advised our immediate family to stay for pictures, while he directed our other guests to the reception area.

Another great thing about Allen is that he takes the time to speak with you in detail about music selections and the 'flow' of things during your reception, based on the information you give him.

On the day of the wedding, we were so happy we selected Allen because he played the music at the perfect level (no one had to yell over the table to have a converstaion). During the craziness of the wedding reception when it's easy to forget the little details, he reminded us about visiting tables and greeting guests, and he prepared us for the cake cutting and special photo poses. It was so great to have someone care enough to remind us about all the "little things".

Having attended plenty of events in my 40+ years, I knew that I wanted someone who deliver excellent music and sound. Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor once the dance music started! But that is just one part of why Allen was top notch entertainment.

Allen is more than just a tunes master, he is the emcee for the evening. We met with Allen a few times after the initial face-to-face meeting, by e-mail and phone and through my wedding planner. He had our schedule for the reception and the important moments were orchestrated on time and with professional guidance that you can only get from someone who has as much experience as Allen has. My guests still comment to this day that our reception was the best one they have ever attended. I believe choosing entertainment is one of the most important decisions we make. Allen was my DJ for my August 16 wedding and he did a fantastic job! I didn't need to hire a wedding coordinator because he scheduled the entire night for me. He is very professional and not cheesy. My mother-in-law is hard to please and she kept complimenting me for choosing Allen! I highly recommend him. Book him!

I am so glad I hired Allen for my wedding reception!! Many, many of my guests came up to me during and afterwards to comment on what a great DJ we had and how the music appealed to both young and old. When my husband and I opened the dance floor half-way through our first dance, I expected about 4-5 couples to join us. Instead, the dance floor was FLOODED with people! I have never seen anything like it before. The floor was too small...and this was a crowd that doesn't really dance! It was wonderful. Plus, his emcee skills were fantastic and he thought of every little detail...including handing a glass of champagne to our Best Man when he forgot it for the toast. There was Allen, waiting in the wings. He is worth every penny and I'd gladly spend it again. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Alan was the perfect match for us, we had been looking for a DJ/MC for a couple of months before our wedding, when we first met Alan we knew that we had found what we were looking for. Alan was very professional and personable. Alan had everything planned out, so that we had nothing to worry about. He took care of everything that a wedding planner would have. At the reception, Alan got everyone up out of their seats and onto the dance floor. At the end of the night everyone commented on how wonderful Alan was.

Absolute perfection! Allen made our wedding wonderful! He was professional and personable from the very beginning, and helpful throughout the entire process. From our interactions before the wedding, in person and on the phone, I felt completely comfortable with him and had complete confidence in him. He was very interested in what we wanted, the music, the style, the flow of the reception, and always gave his professional advice without pressuing us to do it a certain way. He was very flexible - even on the day of the wedding. He handled changes in the program (different dance songs and adding special performances from my nieces) at the reception without any frustration and always with a smile. He has an awesome voice - and this actually adds a lot! He coordinated everything with the photographer and reception coordinator so everything went perfectly smoothly. I didn't have to think about anything at the reception - I just enjoyed myself completely, and I knew Allen had everything under contorl. He was absolutely perfect!!

Allen did a wonderful job with my wedding! He assisted me through the whole process from making the timeline for the wedding to the ceremony music. The day of the wedding, he coordinated the day with all the vendors on site. Allen kept us on time with all the little details that needed to be completed through the day. We hired Allen to DJ our wedding ceremony. When we first met with him, he immediately impressed us with his professional approach and style. If you are looking for a great DJ/Mc look no further!! My husband and i were married 09/18/2008 and Allen did a fantastic job. I was very impressed with his organization and attention to detail. He is a perfectionist and you can see he really enjoys what he does. He not only was a great DJ he was also part wedding coordinator. I was not too thrilled with my event coordinator but Allen made sure the timeline of the wedding made sense and that everyone involved with the wedding was on the same page. I would also like to add that he has a real knack for reading the room and playing the perfect music. I would recommend Allen for any special event in your life.

We immediately picked Allen because he had done our friends wedding 5 yrs ago and it was amazing. The flow was perfect, timing, dance selection....Allen was very involved from the get go and made sure that we had the "perfect" experience for our wedding. We did not hire a wedding planner so we used his experience to pin point exactly how much time we needed for each part of the reception (speeches, prayer, special dances, etc...). We put our absolute trust in him and everything truly came out perfect. We had 117 guests and at least 100 of them said this was the best wedding they had ever gone to. Outside of all that Allen is just a good guy and was very easy to work with during what should have been a "stressful" event. We highly recommend Allen to any of you reading this.

If you hire an MC for your wedding he or she will naturally take a managerial role during your wedding day, you'll definitely want someone with experience.
If you read Allen's business card, it says, "committed to exceed your expectations". That is how exactly how we felt. He scheduled a two hour conference call (we live out of town), two weeks before the wedding where he walked us through the different wedding style options. He also wanted to get the exact pronounciation for the Chinese, Korean, and Indian names. On the wedding day he would make up for our mistakes, such as not using the microphone properly, or not having a champagne glass during the toast, or not having a jacket during picture taking. Overall, he was very professional, and he took care of us on our wedding day.

AAA DJ Service was the best experience. Alan took care of the whole wedding keeping on time schedule, tons of ranges of music, Very professional, Honest and works with your scedule. As a bride there is alot to remember and if your doing all the planning, and your the cordinator then you need some releif somwhere, and that's where Alan comes in he's everything all in one. It was well worth it to spend a little extra on a DJ/MC, You get all this with Alan. We couldn't be more grateful to a special day better than I could have imagined actually perfect.

I can honestly say that after my first conversation with Allen I was convinced my wedding would be a hit. Then after my first official meeting with Allen I was convinced I no longer needed a wedding coordinator! My husband and I were amazed at Allen’s level of experience and professionalism and his ability to keep us entertained (and this was just at our first meeting with Allen!)

We found Allen based on the good reviews on this website. The only thing I can tell you about Allen is he is awesome. He is actually the first DJ I interviewed and I told my husband I wanted to book hime immediately. From the first time we met, he has been always professional and helpful. He is always there when we need him. He even called us two days before the wedding just to make sure he pronounced the names of every bridal party and both parents correctly. (We are Asians and it's not easy for non-Asians to pronounce accurately.) On the wedding date, we got a lot of compliments about the music. I would definetly recommend Alley to anybody. Hands down....He is the best.

It has been three months after my wedding and I still have people come up to me to tell me it was by far the best wedding they have ever been to. I can't take credit for everything because what Allen did during the reception made our wedding day one to remember. He saved it! He not only did a superb job with the music but managed the time accordingly during the reception. It was flawless! We were absolutely 100% satisfied with the excellent work that Allen did for us prior to and the day of the wedding/reception. His hard work and diligence in planning was superb and very comforting to both of us, especially my wife! He did a great job at one of the tougher venues for a DJ to work. The dance floor was filled, young and old, and everyone had a blast. One extra kudos I would like to note, Allen was our savior when the speaker system at our venue went down. Within five minutes he had his spare speakers set up and I don't think many of our guest even noticed the pause in the action. Allen was a very professional and accomodating DJ. We were struck by his professionalism and dedication to making our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be. He spent the time to ensure that we had all the music we wanted played (including latin music that was difficult to find!). We would definitely use him again and recommend him to our friends!

Allen was absolutely WONDERFUL. He served as the DJ & MC for our wedding ceremony and reception in September of 2007 and I can't stress how valuable his services were. He was so very helpful and attentive to our needs and his level of professionalism was incredibly high.

We really truly attribute the success of our wedding to him. His skills are phenomenal and his experience is worth every penny. I felt his pricing was VERY reasonable but if you're on a budget and can't quite afford him, I'd advise you to cut costs anywhere else and hire him! For my wedding, I couldn't afford a wedding coordinator and I found that I didn't really need one because Allen really helped me to be on schedule with all of my activities. That was an incredible bonus for me. He really made the day go smoothly.

It's so important to have someone as professional as him at your wedding. Since music really sets the mood for your wedding, guests notice if the DJ is cheesy...and Allen is not. He is very classy.
