Abbey Feldkamp Photography

We worked with Abbey for our wedding this July and she was more than I ever expected. Professional, attentive, creative, and willing to do whatever we wanted. Our pictures turned out amazing (yes, we already received them back and less than a month after the wedding!) We will definitely be going to here for all our lifetime milestones and she will be our family photographer for life. I'm so happy with her work-I would recommend her to anyone!

My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about Abbey Feldkamp Photography! We booked our wedding (Friday evening ceremony) and reception (Saturday afternoon/evening) and she was extremely flexible! Many of the other photographers I contacted were going to charge an arm and a leg to cover both days, but Abbey completely accommodated our needs at no extra charge! She also threw in an engagement session for free, (which was an absolute blast), and we got a ton of great pictures out of it. She also does boudoir photography, which I took advantage of to make a fun little book as a wedding present for my hubby ;) The pictures were tastefully done and he absolutely loved the gift! All in all, I would definitely recommend Abbey to all brides who are looking for great memory-capturing-pictures at a great price. As for the brides who said they didn't like the style or how they didn't get what they wanted, they should have been more specific. You should always let your photographer (and any vendor for that matter) know what you want UP FRONT.

Wow where do I start? We booked Abbey after meeting with her over coffee, and we loved her immediately. She went through exactly what kind of style she offered, what we could expect, what she needed from us to make our day exactly how we wanted, and what she loved about her job. She was very professional and worked with us to get the exact look and feel we wanted for our wedding photos. I sent her many images via e-mail (probably 30+) that I specifically wanted shot, and she made sure that she got each and every one shot with her own twist/direction-not to mention all of her own creative ideas and shots. She was very organized, and remembered specific details we had mentioned at our very first meeting, over a year before the wedding. There were some shots she captured with details I wasn't even aware of at the reception, and I'm so glad she did or I would never have known! We had an open line of communication through the entire planning process and we really appreciated that. My husband has an expression that we've never been able to capture before because he's slightly shy in front of the camera (or two posed, or a combination of both!) and after receiving our dvd of images, we were both brought to tears...Abbey had captured that expression, my FAVORITE expression several times throughout the day. I can't even put into words how much that meant to the both of us. Even my husband was thrilled that she could capture his true personality and candid appearance (I "threatened" him with a post-wedding session if our pictures turned out too posed/cheesy! ;) We ended up booking her for a "trash the dress" session anyways because we loved her work so much. I am so glad we went with her. I could go on and on about the wonderful things about her and the work that she produces and how much effort she put into our special day. We now have become friends and talk often-when we booked we had never met or spoke before in our life. Abbey will definetly be the only photographer we'll be using from here on out! Abbey was an amazing photographer to work with! She stuck with me as I changed wedding dates and picture times. The quality of the pictures are everything I could have hoped for, and every time I look at them I am so pleased! I was also surprised by how fast they arrived and the wide selection of pictures I got to choose from!

I was impressed with abbey's blog and all the pictures i had seen from her. we were pleased with the pictures that she got for our engagement session, but extreamly displeased with our wedding photos that followed. she gave us a great price, but i guess we paid for her lowering her price. we took pictures behind the church and being that she was not observant, we ended up with lots of grave stones in the back rounds of our pictures. little effort was put in on our wedding day, she gave us no direction. her 2nd photographer showed up in jeans and they both kept their coats on at the reception. she put minimal effort into editing our images. I have a feeling she was displeased with her work as well as she normally puts 20-25 photos of the weddings she has done up on her blog, she put up 5 of our wedding. i really had high expectations due to the wonderful work she has posted, i'm just sad that it didn't turn out that way for us.

We loved our wedding photographer, Abbey. We met with several photographers to find one that we meshed with and we knew shortly after meeting her that she was ours! she has a fun, quirky, and genuine personality that made it really comfortable for her to be around us the whole day (and our engagement shoot)...she took time to get to know our relationship personally and captured pictures that are us as a couple to a T. Our albums are filled with beautiful memories and photos that stir our emotions every time we look at them. I would recommend her a thousand times over.

We saw Abbey photographing a wedding that I was in of a friend of mine before our wedding. We met her and she was nice and seemed very professional. We booked with her after we saw our friends photos, they were beautiful. She was great and answered e-mails, phone calls fast while planning and did a free engagement session for us. We were really happy with our experience.

This may be biased because she's a friend, but she is phenomenal. We purchased a 6 hour package and she stayed 8 hours. She gave us a high-resolution cd with all of the photos on them which was really nice because we couldn't afford to order every single print we wanted. There is nothing average about our pictures, every shot has thought, creativity, professionalism, flair, and emotion to it. She didn't tell us to pose or "hold that" or stay there! in fact, she barely interrupted our day or time together, she captured our story and you can see the real emotion on our faces. It's worth more than anything in the world! Thank you Abbey!!

Abbey has such an artistic eye for detail and a great vision when it comes to photography. We originally choose her because we liked her personality and the shots we saw on her website, and she had awesome prices and helped us stay inside our budget. We could tell she really loved what she did and really wanted our business. But—for the price we paid we were blown away with what we received…so much better than we could have ever imagined. I still look at our wedding albums everyday and I never tire looking at her photos. I can’t put into words how wonderful we feel about our pictures! Pictures are absolutely priceless.

We have nothing but the best things to say about Abbey. She was incredible! We had a pretty small budget for today-and she worked inside of it, giving us the most for what we could spend. She also gave us a complimentary Engagement session which we loved. Our photos are so different than my friends who have gotten married. They are so unique-she has an incredible eye for a good backdrop, and cool angle, and a knack for capturing the feeling of the moment without intruding. She was great to work with and we will definetly use her over and over again!

My fiance actually found Abbey online and after viewing her online gallery and reading about her, we knew we wanted to meet her and inquire about having her as our wedding photographer. After about 5 minutes of talking, I was sure she was perfect and she was! She made our wedding day so much fun, she was not only a great photographer, she became a friend and support system through our big day. We couldn't be happier with our pictures and her prices were great.

Abbey Feldkamp of FeldkamPhotography took our wedding pictures and they were breathtaking. She was so easy and fun to work with and really got to know us as a couple. We really appreciated the time she spent “telling” our story...she stayed much longer than she was paid for and the end result was amazing. Her prices were the most reasonable we found anywhere and she worked with us to help us stay in our budget. We loved that she was flexible and willing to help….it’s very hard to capture smiles and laughter that are genuine for my husband (he’s not photogenic) but Abbey did a great job of getting candid photos that we will treasure forever. if I could give her more than 5 starts I would!

Abbey took pictures of Jordan And I to celebrate our recent engagement & picked the perfect location to capture our personalities. The setting, lighting, & awesome scenary was only the beginning. The pictures that came from the session are unlike any we've ever seen. She captured true, genuien & spontaneous expressions that are true to us. We are not "photogenic" yet she still captured our real emotions & expressions, the best pictures we've ever had of ourselves! She will be doing our wedding next summer as well. Thank you Abbey!

Abbey took our engagement pictures this winter & I can't wait to see what is to come for our wedding this fall. All my family & friends LOVED them and we thought they were spectacular. She has creative ideas & a unique angle when shooting-things normal people wouldn't take notice of. We are so happy we went with her!

Abbey did our engagement photos so we knew we would love our wedding photos but they turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I felt so beautiful. We got really lucky-she's very talented AND reasonable/flexible and it was just what we needed. THANK YOU ABBEY!!!

Abbey did our Engagement pics a couple of weeks ago and it was awesome...she was so much fun and had so many ideas and with getting everything back was VERY timely, we had an issue with one of the 3 CD's in our computer, and she just burned me another one and got it in the mail right away! We have her doing our wedding in a couple of weeks and will definitely use her in the future!

Abbey did our engagement pictures as well. I knew Abbey was a talented photography (because she is a dear friend of mine) but when I got the pictures back (in a timely manner I might add as well!) I was blown away by how beautiful they turned out! She really took the time to see each shoot and make each picture a little different but keep the session coherent. I think that is a neat characteristic to have a photographer. She definitely will be taking more pictures for us in our future and for our wedding! Thank you Abbey!!

Abbey did Scott and my photography, and was absolutely phenomenal! She chose a great spot to shoot (Mill City Museum) and took so many wonderful, original shots! She has amazing ideas, and so much talent. Also, she got a CD with the pictures to us very quickly and professionally. The pictures turned out beautiful, we have already gotten SO many compliments! Abbey was so much fun to work with; she is so friendly, accommodating and outgoing. She made the session so much fun, and we will DEFINITELY use her again for any photography we need!
