Gorgeous Dresses! I fell in love with several dresses and it was extremely hard to decide on just one! The poor girl (I think she was the manager) that helped me retry my favorite ones on over & over again, did so with a genuine smile the whole time. And every time I came back in with friends & family in-tow, the sales associate was always glad to see me & always remembered which dresses (& correct size) my favorites were as well!! (Which I don't know how she did!)
I would definitely recommend this store to everyone!

unprofessional! I love the dress I found, it was comparable to other options I found at Allyses Bridal and Eternity Bridal as far as price and quality go, but the Abella sales team was somewhat of a joke. The first impression was terrible because the girl at the front of the store didn't even look up when I came in. No cheerful greeting when I walked in, no help in finding a dress, no help in trying on dresses, they hardly said a word to me both times I went into the store. I had to keep asking them questions because they wouldn't explain the layout of the store and the girl at the front desk literally had a frown across her face. Luckily my mother and sisters were with me to make the experience fun and to help me with the things that the staff helped with at all the other bridal gown stores. When we checked out the staff was pushy to my mother who was being gracious enough to purchase the gown and it made me very uncomfortable. They were not flexible about the bead-check and clean/steam of the dress after purchase so I had to reschedule with my photographer to work around Abella. So I loved the dress I found, but their service was a nightmare. Oh and then a month or so after my wedding I get a postcard from the sales team asking me to email pictures of me in my dress for their blog...Yeah right! After all the help they gave me I'm not going to waste my time sending them pictures I paid good money for. The post card also let me know that I should join weddingwire.com and review my venders. (ironic?)

I was very impressed when going into Abella Bridal. Most of the other bridal stores I'd been to... Honestly, made me want to just walk out. The service was horrible, the stores were not well stocked and organized, and the dresses weren't in the best of shape. Going into Abella Bridal, I was blown away at how helpful and kind everyone was. (The lady that helped me was amazing--- and was very open with what she thought... She couldn't have been more helpful and sweet!) Another thing that made it more inviting was everything was very clean!! Along with all the gown's being very well kept and completely spotless!--- So I didn't feel uncomfortable and gross trying anything on at all. I'd definitely recommend Abella Bridal to everyone!

They gave my wedding dress to another girl after they steamed and pressed my dress. She refused to give it back cause she liked my alterations and smaller size. Abella bridal put me in a size smaller (cause they didn't have the dress size I originally bought for $900) with alterations cause my wedding day was the next day. I got rashes on my underarms cause it was too small and it rubbed. After trying nicely to get a refund or 20% off cause I never got the dress I originally bought they sent a letter to me saying that I can't talk about the situation to anyone and if I have a problem I should take them to court (such a large trouble for such a simple solution of 'customer service) and that giving me a new dress was more than compensation. The owner Julie is very dishonest and awful. She didn't want to give the other girl free alterations which would have made it so the other girl gave back my dress. Julie also hid from the other girl that I altered the other girl's dress to limit the cost she would pay for Abella's mistake. Don't buy your dress from them.

Everyone at Abella Bridal was extremely helpful! I went in many times to try on the same dress and they helped me every time with a smile. I would highly reccommend Abella Bridal to my friends!

I bought my dress at Abella Bridal and, while I love my dress, the staff wasn't very helpful. They took all the dresses I picked off a large rack into my dressing room, and occassionally commented on how the different dresses looked, but that was about it. No help zipping up, suggestions for other styles, or anything. Mostly spent their time talking to each other in the front. Thank goodness I had my mom, sister, and best friend there to help or I would have felt abandoned. Prices are pretty steep as well.

I loved my dress and the selection available at Abella Bridal, but was disappointed in the service. The girls working there were snooty and aloof--not nearly as attentive as at Alysse's. Also-pretty pricey.

I got a beautiful dress at Abella that I really loved. They were able to stretch out the overlay lace the way I wanted them to do it by steaming it. Even when I asked them to fix a part of it, that probably was fine, but I am picky, they were still happy to do it. I love their dresses - they are way better than the typical LDS wedding dresses and much better designed and looking. I also bought a necklace and headband there for half off. The negative aspect about them is that they are pricey, but you get a much nice dress.

Great selection of Modest dresses for LDS women. Great Staff on hand. we loved that since they did not have a tailor on site, they provided us with an excellent list of references for alterations. We loved that all the dresses were temple ready. they also had great veils too. Now, this is in Provo, not Washington DC. but they do do orders over the phone and online. =)

Had the most quality dresses with the best selection and unique selection

I loved this little boutique because the dresses were modest, but not the same old dresses at every place. The only thing I didn't like was that my dress when it was cleaned did not get all of the stains out, I had to get Shout wipes to get the makeup out of the front.

I had to order my dress, because they didn't have the size I wanted in white, and I didn't want to wear a cream colored wedding dress. But, unless you are planning on having your wedding at least six months in advance I wouldn't recommend ordering a dress, because it takes four months to make, or you pay 100 dollars in rush fees, the dress was already pretty pricey.

my perfect dress. I called in to change sizes to adjust for alterations and there was no problem.

I would go there if you're looking for a beautiful dress that fits your budget - but they were so catty. The girl that did my alterations took my dress back to the shop instead of having me come pick it up as we had arranged. I was really upset about it because I thought my dress was lost -- so when I was trying it on they sat there and talked about me -- as if I couldn't hear what they were saying! I wasn't being a snot - my wedding was in 10 days and I wanted a dress. Also - make sure you work with the owner, some of the younger, high school age girls that work there have no idea what they are doing, and they just treat you like they are in high school.

Loved my dress, but the lady they recommended to alter was TERRIBLE! Nancy Barrus Coture was the one who did the alterations and she charaged more than she quoted and it took her 3 weeks longer than she said it would. But Abella Bridal was beautiful and helpful!

I loved my dress and loved my experience buying it. Instead of feeling like I was in a wedding dress factory with every other bride in Utah Valley, the staff at Abella Bridal treated me like royalty and were very helpful. They have a great selection and a fantastic staff.

I've had to tag along with a lot of engaged people, so I've been to pretty much all the bridal shops in the Provo/Orem area plus a lot in the Salt Lake area. Abella Bridal is my favorite. Lots of other bridal shops don't take care of their dresses and they are handled carelessly and frequently. Not so at Abella's. They make you take your shoes off and the dresses don't even touch the ground so they're all in excellent condition. The people who work there are also very knowledgeable and personable. Only ignorance would cause someone to think that the employees there were caddy and that person apparently has no sense of class of what a higher end bridal boutique is like.
The store is tucked away in the Shops at Riverwoods and it's a good idea to make an appointment but also feel free to stop by in case they're free.

My wife got her dress at the last minute and Abella Bridal was great. Their dresses are not the greatest quality, but they're great for wearing once or twice. They don't look like cookie cutter dresses like everyone has in Utah, and they are still appropriate for temple weddings.
GUEST

staff was not very helpful, you have to take it somewhere else to make adjustments but they steam and clean it for you. beautiful dresses though.

The dresses are cute for an "ok" value. The younger employees are very catty, snotty, and rude. If you go here, only work with the older manager (she's like 50).
We found the dress I liked there about 2 weeks before my wedding. We special ordered my size because the manager said it would fit me. We had to pay for 1/2 of the dress before they would order it though. So when it came in, it didn't fit and there wasn't much time to wait for another one and they would not fix the dress for me. So we asked for a refund for the part we had already paid and the shop girl refused (even though we were not buying the dress), so we had to leave very angry and with no dress. The manager called us later and said she knew someone who could fix it and had it done within a few days. We ended up being happy, just the first experience we had with them was really bad. I would look for your dress elsewhere before coming here.
Abella's service is great- such friendly people and a great selection of gowns for the modest bride. They are detail oriented and I certainly recommend them!
