Abella Studios

After meeting with Ryan on our first visit to Abella Studios we knew he was going to be our wedding photographer. Not only was his work amazing (we had seen it online as well as from another bride),but the pricing structure and different packages they offer create so much value for the money. Selecting a photographer goes beyond even the work and price. Ryan is extremely nice with a calming and laid back personality...exactly what you need on your wedding day!

We didn't meet Carlos, our videographer until the day of the wedding but he was just as nice and easy to work with as Ryan was. Seeing as the photographer and videographer are with you more than any other vendor on your wedding day, you wouldn't have known that with these guys. Never intrusive or in the way and always looking for a way to take the best pictures possible. Choosing Abella (and Ryan and Carlos) may have been the best choice we made throughout this entire process...and we loved all of our vendors!!

Abella studies has the most amazing photographers ever. We had 2 photographers, Matt and Felipe and our videographer, Carlos. We all worked well together, they made us feel absolutely comfortable. They provided great shots and great ideas, once we saw the executed ideas we knew we had definitely made the right choice, right from the beginning with our engagement shoot with Ryan. Our final wedding pictures are absolutely amazing, nothing like i've ever seen in my life. Truly awesome and amazing that we found them and will recommend to others.

The staff at Abella Studios has not only been helpful and attentive throughout the planning process, but also 2 months after. They are always quick to respond to any questions I have. Our photographers blew our families and guests away with their stunning shots during the formal pictures and throughout the night of our wedding. One month later, we had our images available online as well as the discs that they provided us with. All in all, they are all amazing and talented, and I will most certainly be using them in the future again for other events. Love Abella Studios!!

We could not be happier with the services provided by Mark and his team. We had an informative consultation session with Mark, then an engagement shoot at Ellis Island. The pictures were incredible and we very thankful to Mark for agreeing to that location. He captured what we wanted. Then the wedding day came. We selected both, the phot and video. Tomasz, the photographer, kept me and the bridesmaids calm and smiling during the preparations, formal pictures and pictures at the wedding venue. Mark was also very professional. He saw that my Mom and my "new Mom" :) forgot to put on the corsages so He gave those to Them. When the wedding video arrived, we watched it 6 or 7 times! Then, a day after, we watched it 5 more times with family. The editing and shots are so awesome, we could not believe that it was our wedding video. It was so professional. We can't wait to see the bridal photo album! We are extremely happy with selecting Abella Studios to capture moments from our first day as husband and wife.

On September 20, 2009 my best friend proposed to me on the beach in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. The only thing I knew 100% during the beginning of the wedding planning was, I HAVE TO USE MY SISTERS PHOTOGRAPHER . My sister was married 6 years earlier and I wasn't sure if Abella would even remember their wedding. To my surprise, they knew exactly who I was and even utilized a few of my sisters wedding pictures in some of their advertisements! I immediately felt the personal connection with Ryan and Mark. I had an extremely difficult time planning this wedding and they were THE ONLY VENDORS that made my experience pleasant and worry-free. My husband and I are not the "posing" type so we requested more candid shots. They exceeded any expectation I could ever dream of and truly got the emotion of the day on camera. Abella was a great choice for our photography for many reasons. Our photographer Tom was great. Since my husband and I didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, we had to take alot of shots quickly. He was great for that! The staff is flexible and responses to you quickly as well. Our proofs were up within 2 weeks of our wedding. Also to help us choose the good photos, they actually put some in a special folder and enhanced them. It was great to see those! It actually helped us with our selections because they were out favorite as well!! They are very affordable too! I HIGHLY recommend Abella.

Very pleasant, focused, professional, fun, and kept us on time. His work is brilliant and I was so happy to work with him. The coverage of one photographer was enough. Then Heather was the coordinator of it all and she was wonderful. Overall, a fantastic experience. My only suggestion would be that after the wedding it's really upon you to take the initiative to get the photo album and thank you's going, so I wish some one from the studio would've called me a month after my wedding saying I should get a move on my thank you cards! Honestly, that's my only feedback. They were truly fabulous.

I cannot say enough praises about Abella Studios! I just had my wedding last Saturday and Abella Studios was my photographer (specifically, Ryan). I could NOT have asked for a better experience!!! My pictures are absolutely AMAZING!!! My friends and family can't believe that I actually have all of the pictures already... it hasn't even been a week!!! The office staff at Abella is friendly and helpful. I felt that I could call with any question and they were there to help. My photographer knew what pictures I wanted to capture and he got every single one. He also took some spectacular pictures that I never would have thought to take! He was absolutely wonderful, friendly and professional.

Professionalism at it's finest! From the day I met with Heather, my husband and I were impressed with Abellas's work. It was the second and the last photographer we looked into for our wedding day. Abella surpassed our expectations. Tim photographed our wedding--he's super creative, super nice and super flexible! His experience showed in our incredible photos....which guests are still raving about a month after our wedding. Tim was everywhere and nowhere at the same time! lol. He captured moments of our wedding when my husband and I weren't aware of his presence. As for price, my husband and I were surprised at the cost as we expected to pay more (even though more was not in our budget) but you really do get what you pay for and value for the money is excellent. We don't have any regrets about choosing Abella. Their team gave us exactly what we asked for and delivered big time. We wish we could relive our wedding. It was everything we dreamed of and MORE! Thanks so much to Abella Studios for a job well done! The only negative is that choosing photos for our wedding album will be very difficult! Abella Studios has my highest recommendation.

Our experience with Abella Studios was wonderful from the start. After meeting with several highly regarded photographers, we chose Abella Studios for their professionalism, quality of work we viewed in their studio, and package value. From the day we booked them right through to the aftermath of the wedding – they have been incredibly helpful and responsive. We had an on-location engagement photo shoot, which provided us with many beautiful photos. More importantly, during the stressful and hectic wedding planning period, we had no issues with Abella Studios – everything was simple and they were there to answer our every question in a timely and efficient manner. The day of the wedding, the photographers managed to take tons of photographs without being intrusive at all. They were also incredibly patient and understanding throughout the day. The best part was just a few weeks after the wedding when all of our family and friends were able to see the photos online. I was not expecting to be able to see all of our wedding photos so quickly! I would highly recommend Abella Studios to anyone I know who is planning a special event.

Oh my...words cannot describe how wonderful the photographer, Jessie, was. My wedding day was absolutely beautiful (10-9-10)...a very nice and warm day in Princeton NJ. Jessie totally worked the scenery and weather. When I booked with Abella, Heather was very patient with me, as I was very fanatic, and at times inpatient, about what I wanted. After looking though pictures, I sent her IDs to pictures I liked. It turned out that these pictures belonged to three different photographers. For each photographer, Heather sent me three different weddings that each photographer shot, which allowed me to choose who I wanted. When I booked with them, my first and second choice were not available, so I was not sure what to expect for my wedding. Sometime before the wedding, Heather informed me that Jessie would be doing my wedding...I was happy because he was my second choice. Oh my, Jessie was fabulous! He has a magnetic personality, which worked well with mine. He was open to any suggestions and has a very good eye for the environment to take pictures. My make-up artist was there for some of my individual pictures and she told me that I was going to be very pleased with some of the shots she saw on his digital camera. That made me very happy. My pictures were made available on their website this week, and boy...I am more than 100% satisfied. My pictures looked fabulous. He took candid and formal pictures. My husband, his and my family and friends also love the pictures. Some of the shots, we were told, are a bit racy but we don't mind. My husband got a chance to see a side of me he has not and he absolutely loves them. I would totally recommend Abella Studios for photography. Jessie was punctual, professional, courteous, open, energetic, and the adjectives could go on. I went with another place for my videography, and Jessie knew him. They worked cohesively together and never got into each other's way. They were a perfect professional fit for each other and me. I was very pleased. I am glad I chose Abella for my pictures, and would recommend them to any bride. Because this is a studio, they have a few photographers; therefore I would recommend giving yourself enough time to skim through the pictures online so that you can narrow your choices down to a couple photographers. At this point you can find out if they would be available for your day and request their recent work for your review before your final choice.

I can not say enough how happy I am with Abella! We had two photographers for our wedding of 160 people and picking abella was one of the best decisions we made!! They were around to capture all of the spontaneous moments, but never seemed to get in the way of anything. They were extremely professional and courteous and were a pleasure to have around on this day! Mark was great with suggesting different shots and made everyone involved feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I got a few sneak peeks of the pictures he took and was truely blown away. I cant wait to see the rest of the photos! I would highly highly reccomend them!!!

We got married May 30, 2010 and I have nothing but good things to say about Abella Studios. We loved Abella - we had Ryan as our photographer and Mark as our videographer and they did a great job. Heather was great to deal with too they were all very accomodating!

Our photographer, Ryan, was fantastic! He arrived on time at my parents' house to begin taking pictures. He was very respectful toward myself, my wedding party, and family; he even took pictures that included our family dog!

Ryan was very discreet and did an absolutely wonderful job at the church; as our pastor said, a great and talented photographer is one whom you never know is there and that's exactly who Ryan is. He was quiet and unobtrusive, but took great, meaningful photos.

Ryan is such a skilled photographer; he not only acquired a great quantity of photos, but ones of terrific quality as well. We received the CD-ROM of our photos less than 2 weeks following the ceremony; they made me laugh, cry (happy tears), and smile and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Abella Studios, especially Heather (E.B. office), Jesse and Max were the best to work with for our special day. The photos were absolutely goregous. The photographers were excellent and very professional. We also had them shoot our video, which was very nice too. Jesse knew how to position us and my dress to look just perfect. Abella did an amazing job with our pictures (we didn't see the video yet). I was a little worried that we had such a huge amount of people at the wedding but only one photographer. After seeing all the pictures though... I could not have been happier, they came out UNBELIEVABLE and I cannot stop looking at them. The photographer & videographer were on time and weren't in anyone's way with their camara's throughout the day.

We also had a love story video... and it came out awesome. Everyone at the wedding was talking about how romantic and beautiful it all was. Months later, everyone is STILL talking about it and my husband is still watching it almost everyday. :)

First, I cannot say enough about my experience working with Abella and the entire staff. Mark, the owner; Ryan and Heather in the office; and Angelica, the designer, are all incredibly talented in their line of work and will make you feel as if you're the only client they have – something EVERY bride searches for throughout the planning. The entire process from initial booking to final payment was seamless, stress-free and without a doubt surpassed my expectations. My husband and I are about to celebrate our two-year wedding anniversary in November. Just last week, we received our Flushmount Fusion wedding album (after all the anxiety and frustration of dealing with The Studio and their lack of professionalism/client service) and couldn't have been happier! Each time we share the album with a friend or family member, they gasp with joy at how beautiful each spread is. Every turn of the page brings us back to that special day and we are able to relive the memories over and over because of the time and detail Abella put into creating it. The timeframe was impeccable for turning around our album, especially given the fact that Abella was squeezing our project in simply to make their clients happy. I realized at that moment that Abella Studios is more than a vendor, they are a trusted partner!

Abella was a great company to work with. They were very responsive to our emails and flexible in payment terms. While, we did select a pricier package they had packages that varied. Our photos were gorgeous and neither the photographer or the videographer was in any way intrusive. We were very happy with our choice.

Abella Studios was great during the entire wedding planning process. They always answered my emails and phone calls the same day. The photographer was respectful and non intrusive. The pictures were amazing! They are a bit pricey (but all photographers are). If you want to be able to print the pictures out on your own, make sure you have the rights to your photos put into your contract. I didn't ask about this ahead of time and I wish I did.

We had a destination wedding (in Jamaica) and Abella Studios was there with us to capture all our special moments. We are so glad we decided to go with Abella Studios to do our videography and photography. Everything from the love story, to the highlights and wedding video, to trashing of the dress came out absolutely amazing. Mark, our videographer, was very creative and at the same time open to all our ideas. Jesse, the photographer, took gorgeous pictures and was very friendly and personable. Abella was excellent to deal with from beginning to end. We loved the fact that they gave us all of our photographs to view online, as well as on a disc to do as we please. Our photographer was excellent. She was very professional the day of our wedding. It was really great working with her throughout the entire day! AWESOME!!! photography was the most important thing i was purchasing since i wasn't getting a videography for the day. Abella set me up with a great photographer (Rennie Newmark) and as a bonus, she had an apprentice with her who was FREE of charge. We got over 1,000 photos!

when look for a photographer all i wanted was a CD of all of pics. No album, no bells and whistles, just give me the pics. Most photogs would not do this! But Abella had no problem with it. I did my own albums, made copies of pics for all of my wedding party and family, and saved a ton.

We used Abella for our same day edit / highlight video for our September 2011 wedding and we were really happy with the results. Their same-day edit pricing is reasonable with what other videography vendors ask for. The quality of the video is great and we got 4 camera people to capture the day's events, 2 with the guys, 2 with us girls. The guys were really friendly and didn't conflict with our photographer. Basically, they started filming at 3pm, and were in our suite working the night away to make sure the SDE looked great...viewed the video around 10 PM. Heather and Ryan, two other staff members with whom I frequently corresponded with were very helpful and responsive with emails and questions. Overall, great choice for videography; good value as well. Thanks to Mark, Carlos, Francis, (there was a really nice fourth young man but I don't remember his name--sorry!) and the rest of the Abella Studios team.

They were great!

I had an overall great experience with Abella Studios! Their work was fast and beautiful! My pictures were up on the internet in less than a month for everyone to view. I was able to get an appointment quicly to do my album and have been able to email all of my editorial reviews for the video.

My husband and I used Abella Studios in Fairfield, NJ. They are small but have one other office in central NJ as well. The people I dealt with were very nice and professional. They had thee best prices in this area of NJ and the area of NY state around Catlin Gardens. The pictures turned out great. I was a bit disappointed because the photographer almost didn't get the shot of us with my grandparents (he grabbed us as they were literally leaving the reception at the end of the wedding) and he never did get a shot of me with our flower girl and ring bearer. He also did not take our rings out of their boxes for the picture of them on our invitation but in black and white it didn't look as bad. The studio got our album to us pretty quickly but it took me e-mailing them several times to get the ball rolling, however photographers are notorious for taking a very long time to get couples their wedding albums. We got nice photos for the price. They weren't the most creative shots but they came out nicely. Overall, a good experience.

We had a rainy wedding day, but Max was creative and energetic despite the limited backgrounds and scenery. I didnt want to see the groom before the wedding, but Max worked quickly and diligently to capture all of our moments and allow us to catch the tail end of cocktail hour.
Abella also had some of the most reasonable packages and the opportunity to get the most for our money - especially the parent albums!

We absolutely loved our photographer Matthew. We had tried to reach out to the studio on a few occasions and I will say they were often very slow to get back to us after we booked our package. As a result, we were unable to meet with the photographer prior to the wedding. Luckily, Matthew turned out to be a great photographer. We wanted a lot of candid shots and he delivered. I had no problems with him at all and was very pleased. It has been almost 4 weeks and we have not received any pictures nor have they been put online yet so I'm not sure how quick they are to deliver.

Thank you Abella Studios (especially Alex) for such a awesome experience! All of the emotions and happiness we had at our wedding were captured beautifully in the pictures and video. We will cherish and share these pictures forever. Thanks again!

I was supposed to get two photographers. Instead, I got one head photographer and one assistant. The studio asked me to fill out forms with a list of all the required photographs I wanted. Both photographers did not take several of the requested photographs (that I had asked for on those forms).

As an aside, no matter which studio you go with, interview the photographer(s) beforehand for personality conflicts. In my case, the head photographer irritated me, my matron-of-honor, and my mother-in-law.

Total professionals. Work is amazing. A lot of care goes into their events and I can see it just by working with them. Highly recommended.
