We are so happy we hired Brian. I am in the wedding business myself and I know the importance of having professional, experienced vendors. Brian is exactly that and some. On the day of our wedding he was there early and stayed late. He felt like one of our friends, not like a vendor that couldn’t wait to leave. Our photos came out awesome. Highly recommended. I can't say enough good things about Brian, ABM photography and staff. First, our photography experience was a blast. Brian is very professional, has everything listed out in the contract and the cost is very affordable for what you get. Second, Brian is very creative when it comes to photography shots. He has lighting, direction and angles all thought out when taking photos. His equipment is top notch. He applies incredible touch ups using computer software to make each photo perfect. The engagement photos were so fun. We were able to choose one of our favorite locations and had so many good shots it was hard to pick which ones were our favorites for the signature book. The wedding day experience was also incredible. Brian brings along a partner to help him so he was able to quickly move and change equipment during the ceremony, which helped get different shots throughout the entire ceremony. We went to two different locations (number of location is really dependent on how much time you have to work with, pre-wedding or in between ceremony and reception, which we did). We absolutely love both our wedding and engagement photos. ABM's signature book and wedding book are both very artistic and beautiful. There are a few options to choose from which allows for fine tuning not only your budget but what you want the book to look like. He also offers really cool metal prints for those favorite shots. He also does blown up prints for any shot as well. He gives you all final photos on discs to copy digitally and albums with prints and negatives (all included with the package at no extra cost). Overall, I strongly recommend ABM for your wedding photography needs. Not a single gripe from my wife and I and we had a great time working with Brian and the ABM staff.

Do yourself a huge favor and hire ABM Photography for your wedding! Brian is so easy to work and get along with, numerous people asked us how long we’d been friends and couldn’t believe we’d just met. Beyond that, he completely captured the spirit of our wedding and got us shots of everything we’d requested and more. Our photos are truly incredible and unique and we couldn’t be happier. My husband is notoriously camera shy and we were dreading the pre-ceremony photo shoot. With Brian behind the lens, my husband turned into a supermodel and we had so much fun taking pictures. A total pro, Brian kept us on schedule throughout the night and made sure we got all the photos we’d discussed pre-wedding. He was up for anything, came up with great shot ideas in the moment and was also sensitive to family dynamics. Before we found ABM, we met with another photographer who wasn’t hearing what we were saying. Brian truly listened to us and took the time to understand our vision--then translated that vision into photos we will cherish forever.

My fiance and I made a trip to California specifically for our engagement session , so it was really important that we had a great photographer with creativity and skills. Brian did an amazing job and made the session very comfortable , did not rush us and made it a wonderful experience for my fiance and I. He was professional , the final product was beautiful and his responsiveness to our emails and telephone calls were immediate. These are the best photographers in town! They have a unique eye other than anyone else! I cant stop looking at my photos!Brian took our maternity photos that were so beautiful and unique as well as our babies photos which were very vintage and rustic, and he captivated that style so perfectly! Our wedding was also very vintage and rustic and Nick focused on making our photos fit the same theme! They are so fun to work with and they are the go to guys for all of life's special moments!!! You won't regret using them!!!

I had the pleasure of having Brian from ABM photograph both my engagement and my wedding. Brian did an AMAZING job and exceeded all my expectations! Brian is extremely talented and has an ability to capture moments and translate them both beautifully and artistically. Amazing Pictures!! Brian with ABM Wedding Photography is a true professional at what he does. From the first meeting we had in his office leading up to our wedding, to post-wedding meetings about our album design. He was always kind to us and respectful of our opinions and what we wanted. During these meetings he had many examples from other weddings he had worked and photo albums / books for us to browse thru to get a better idea of what types of pictures we wanted, and also gave us other great ideas. From the moment we met with Brian at our first meeting, we knew he was our guy. He welcomed us to his office with warmth and enthusiasm. He started off the meeting by asking us many questions about us to get to know who we were and what we were like as a couple. He was extremely knowledgeable and confident about his work but not pushy at all. He listened to us and crafted his services to that. We left our meeting knowing that he was going to do our photos.

Brian did our engagement photos and wedding photos. The engagement session was a blast and he made it very enjoyable. The pictures turned out incredible and we had a very good combination of artsy photos as well as more traditional poses. We were extremely pleased with the process and the final product.

Brian also did our wedding photos at liberty station in pt loma and the reception at The Ultimate Skybox downtown. Bryan took time to listen to our vision, make suggestions, and come up with a gameplan. We even spent an evening with us driving to both venues and scouting out the "must have" shots. He was patient, fun, and extremely professional every step of the way.

We used our wedding photos for our christmas card this year and we got many comments on how incredible the photos were. All the credit goes to brian.

We cant wait to have kids so he can do the photos for our next stage of life.

Hiring ABM Photography to shoot our wedding was one of the best decisions we made during our whole process! Brian is just so fantastic and easy to work with. Although he was highly recommended by my good friend, I still felt it was my due diligence as a bride to interview others. I am so glad I did as doing so really solidified that Brian was the BEST photographer for the job. His passion for photography really showed through when I was first introduced to him at the Bridal Bazaar. During our first sit down, Brian carefully went over the different packages and pricing that ABM offers. Although he does have great, competitive price points in comparison to other photographers in San Diego, what really won me over was his background as a Photo Journalist. I really liked how Brian wants to capture the photo in the moment, rather than using "photo-shop" as a crutch later on. He also does a very good job at time management throughout your wedding day and really keeps things moving. I was a little nervous that our families and wedding party would be all over the place, but Brian did an AWESOME job at wrangling everyone together and snapping photo after photo. Brian is also very knowledgeable about the best places in SD for great photo shoots (Engagement and Day Of). He also doesn't charge by the hour or charge extra if your Wedding Day goes longer than 8 hours (which most other companies do!) I honestly feel like Brian's entire goal and commitment to every couple is to deliver amazing photos that capture every fabulous moment of your special day!!

Nick did an amazing job with our wedding photos. He came early, before 7 a.m., to take pictures of us getting ready for our traditional ceremony, and stayed until almost midnight to make sure he didn't miss any important moments during our wedding day. ABM does an amazing job and is priced much lower than other photographers. We are so happy to have had Nick capture our special day.

We chose Brian after meeting with several photographers because we really wanted photos that had sharp, vivid color, and his work best resembled that style. We couldn't be happier with our decision!
Brian took the time to ask us which shots were important to us before the wedding. There was one shot in particular that was really important to us, and Brian went out of his way to make sure we got it.
We have received our wedding album (Classic Collection) and absolutely love it. We loved our pictures so much that we've already ordered some of them to be blown up on metal and canvas.
We appreciated that Brian had a calm, relaxed demeanor throughout the day, and was so easy to work with. We also have rights to our digital photos so that we can print as many as we want, and that was important to us.

Brian shot my best friend's wedding. She had a very large, over the top budget. When I saw her pictures, I knew I wanted Brian to photograph my wedding...however, our budget was much different then my best friends. After meeting with several photographers, I kept comparing their photos to ABM's. There was NO COMPARISON, hands down he had the most unique, classy, and creative photos. So we decided to meet with Brain and right off the bat, he demonstrated his flexibility to work with us and make our budget work with the services desired. Looking back, I think I would have paid double for his services and cut from another area of our wedding :) He was genuine, passion-generated, friendly, and very professional. He arrived early to the wedding and captured every aspect of our wedding that we had spoke to him about. Everything that was asked of Brian, he went above and beyond to satisfy us. I have since had 2 friends use ABM for their wedding. Both Brian (and his partner Nick) are amazing and I would HIGHLY RECCOMMEND ABM for ANY type of photography service.

We chose Brian with ABM wedding photo because his quality for value blew the other seven photographers that I looked at out of the water. His photos are artistic, stylish, thorough and his photo editing shows great attention to detail. Very reasonable pricing packages for the quality! If you do choose to go with ABM, make sure you get the hardbound 12X12 inch album, it is GORGEOUS work of art, and beats the hell out of piecing together your own scrapbook!

I first met Brian at The Bridal Bazaar. Like many brides, I collected tons of brochures from various photographers. After a long day, I went home and began to review my bag of goodies. My first task- hire a photographer. I narrowed it down to a few, including ABM Wedding Photography. At our first meeting, my husband and I were very impressed with Brian. His relaxed, non-pushy approach was refreshing in comparison to other photographers that we met with. We felt comfortable with him, like he was one of our good friends. I knew I wanted him to be with us on such an important day. For our engagement session, we encountered some of San Diego's standard June gloom. Brian told us that it was actually great lighting for pictures- and he was right! I loved our pictures. There were so many different types and not just the standard, boring beach pictures. Brian is not affraid to be creative and he welcomes any ideas, which I really appreciated. The wedding pictures were just as amazing! My friends still tell me how much they love my pictures. I don't have enough room here to explain how happy we were with Brian and his services. I highly recommend ABM Wedding Photography. I wish I could get married again, just to see what other pictures he'd come up with!

Brian was awesome! Our pictures turned out amazing. I couldn't have been happier. He showed up on time. Worked throughout the night and got every picture. We had 180 people at our wedding and we were worried that only having 1 photographer would not work, but somehow he was everywhere all at once. We would use him again in a heart beat. And his prices are UNBEATABLE! He did my friends wedding the year before mine, and when I found out how much she paid and saw her photos I knew that we would use him too!

Brian Kent of ABM Wedding Photography shot our wedding in October 2009. His work is nothing short of amazing. The photos, prints, and albums came out absolutely gorgeous and were more than what we were looking for. My husband and I met Brian Kent (owner) at the Bridal Bazaar last January. We looked at at least 20 photographers websites and for the price his was just as artistic and creative as the $8000 photographers. After our first meeting with Brian we knew he would be an awesome fit for our wedding. My husband and I hate taking pictures, so Brian made sure he would use a more photo journalistic style which he prefers. He really listed to us and what we wanted for our engagement photos and wedding day. We bought the $2900 package that included our engagement photos, photo guest book, all day wedding photography, $1000 credit toward our wedding album, 4x6 prints of the majority of the wedding photos he took & all of our photos on a CD as well. The package was well worth the money and our engagement/wedding day photos came out exactly how we hoped they would. Brian & his assistant were so professional that we barely even noticed them as they took photos candidly throughout the day. In addition, Brian is such a nice guy and his main goal is to make sure his clients are happy. He's our photographer for life now.

We were VERY pleased with Brian and ABM Photography! My daughter and her husband are getting ready to order their album, and it was very hard to choose from so many beautiful pictures. We've enjoyed working with him directly before and after the wedding, and he put everyone at ease throughout the day of. If we were to be able to rewind and do it all over again, we would again choose ABM Photography without hesitation!

I found AMB photography at a Bridal Show. After seeing so many vendors in one place, they all start to blend together. Thank goodness, I took the cards home and sat down to compare them. Its difficult to do ethnic wedding because there are so many components to them. One of the thing that caught my eye about Brian is that his services starts when you want and ends when you're ready, its not on an hourly basis. Brian is very laid back, easy to talk to and his office is in his apartment where he displays his beautiful pictures. My husband and I can only say good things about Brian. He is very flexible, professional, and easy to talk to. He takes beautiful pictures and you'd be very happy with him.

Nick took our wedding photos on one of the Hornblower yachts in San Diego. I was a little nervous that the limitations of the size of the boat might hinder our photos but they turned out fantastic and he caught everyone at the wedding having a great time! Our couple photos turned out just as I had hoped, with a modern, photojournalistic flair full of color and life! Thank you so much Nick for capturing the moments of a day that flew by so fast..........what we now have to view and return to that day brings it all back even better than we can remember!

ABM is a great choice! This will be the one of the best investments that you will look back on years later! The quality of the pictures are amazing and the wedding albums they create are something you will keep forever. I would highly recommend ABM, they are great to work with. My husband and I loved working with ABM Wedding Photography. We look through our wedding pictures every other day. We choose ABM because we liked that they were a bit more creative with their photos. They did traditional poses but they also had some really fun ideas like laying down and taking shots from the ground. They also do some amazing outdoor photos. We worked with Brian and met with him twice before the wedding. He was very easy to work with. He always returned my calls or e-mails the same day that I sent them. He had a lot of ideas but was always open to hearing our ideas. We had decided on a package but a month before the wedding my husband upgraded our package to include a gorgeous photo album and a 2nd photographer on the day of the wedding.

The day of the wedding both our photographers, both named Brian, arrived at the venue where I was getting ready EARLY. I've been in bridal parties where the photographers are rude or grumpy. This was not the cast at all with ABM. It felt more like having a good friend take our pictures. Both photographers were dressed really nice for the wedding.

My only complaint with ABM, and this is partially my fault for not suggesting it, is that they did not go around and take pictures of our guests at the tables. That is one thing I would have liked to have. But that is our one and only complaint, so not bad.

I would definitely recommend ABM photography.

ABM was very professional and easy to work with. Very responsive (phone and email) Nick was a fabulous photographer-my husband and I love the wedding album. I do agree with the comment above that more photos of the guests at the tables would have been better, but overall a great experience with ABM!
