Kim did the makeup for our engagement photos. Unfortunately due to a scheduling conflict she wasn't available for the wedding day. That being said, I wish she had been. She was very professional, did an amazing job on my face, and for someone who doesn't wear much make up, she made me feel very comfortable.

I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an artist with talent, but that also has fair prices, and treats you with complete respect.

Kim Trotto, with "About Face", has done my make-up on more than one special occasion. She is a professional and an expert in her field. My pictures have turned out gorgeous every time I use her services. I never go anywhere else when I want my face to look its best. I give "About Face" a 5-star rating! Thanks Kim!

I found Kimberly Trotto through friends. She did makeup for two of my friends wedding (that I was in) and I loved her work! Kimberly is very receptive of the bride and bridal parties needs. She was very flexible scheduling and always responded to my emails within a day. I would highly recommend Kimberly Trotto for anyone's beauty needs.

My wedding was in the middle of a hurricane, and Kim still showed up on time and ready to be an awesome makeup artist! That's dedication!

I hired Kim Thompson to do my wedding makeup. I loved the look we put together at the trial with airbrush makeup, but we needed to make a few modifications to make sure the makeup would last. Unfortunately, we had a bit of a misunderstanding and Kim thought we decided not to do airbrush makeup after all, so she didn't bring it on the wedding day. But my makeup turned out beautifully anyway! Kim was very apologetic and did everything she could to make sure my makeup would last all night, and it did!!! I was so pleased with the look and I got lots of compliments on it (especially on my eyes). Kim was a great vendor to work with, her prices are great, and I'd recommend her to anyone for their wedding!

I had a very stressful time leading up to my wedding day; my venue when out of business 2 weeks before my wedding day. Kim was very flexible, and was one of only a very small handful of vendors to NOT let me down. I did not consider myself a high maintenance bride, I really had no expectations from a makeup artist. However, the finished product Kim produced was amazing. The photographs turned out great, and I really did look the best I ever have--which is the goal, right?! Very talented, and very professional.

First, if you're a bride-to-be reading this...CONGRATULATIONS! Second, if you're looking for a make-up artist for your wedding look no further! I've actually known Kimberly for 10 years now and I've had my make-up done by her on 3 separate occasions. I've always found her to be professional, courteous, and thoughtful. For my wedding, I was able to leave my make-up consultation feeling confident because I felt we had a very thorough conversation about what I wanted for myself and my bridesmaids. She even let me add my mom to list just days before the wedding.

A few other things that I feel are unique and special to Kimberly and her work are:
1) She's very gentle. She never pulls or tugs harshly.
2) She has a very calm and soothing tone to her voice as she works. It can be very unnerving when someone is close to your eyes and I felt that her tone helped keep me relaxed.
3) She told me everything she was going to do before she did it which also helped keep me calm.
4) She takes her time and makes sure every detail is just right.

I hope you decide to give her call, you won't regret it!

Kim was awesome! She did an amazing job on my bridesmaids as well as myself...she was definitely a part of making my day a success!

Kim is amazing. She is beyond friendly and really loves her job. When I hired her, she invited me for a trial makeup session during a photo shoot at a local boutique. I was able to see her work on 2 models and it took my breath away! I told her what I was looking for and she made it happen. She made me look flawless and I learned a lot in the process. While I'll admit, I changed "my look" before the wedding and I didn't get to have another session with Kim, I wasn't the least bit worried. She did my bridal parties makeup as well as myself and we couldn't have been happier. She made all of us look stunning. We were complimented on our makeup all day long and we couldn't stop looking at how beautiful we looked in the mirror! I would not hesitate to book her again, even if it's to brush up on my application skills or if I was having a big night out. She's fantastic at what she does!
