We used About the Day for both our photography and videography services. Sonia was amazing! She caught poses that I did not know we could make. They were honest, real, and refreshing...sometimes that's hard to find when you're planning a wedding. ~Editing style - Elegant and timeless...no cheesy effects or music anywhere. And the video is the perfect length! Everyone out here talks about this company; if you don’t use them than you wish you would have!
They did an excellent job on our wedding video! They captured so many memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. His professionalism and the quality of his work were absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! I am sorry I can not recall their name and just the company's.
Stephen and his wife are very talented and creative and gave me so much more than I could have ever expected out of my wedding video. I would recommend hiring them to anyone! My wedding day would not have been complete without both of them, great job you guys, use them, use them, use them!
He was truly amazing. He captured poses that I did not know existed. They were patient, professional and most of all time conscious. They had us organized as if we were in the army. I had let them know ahead of time what poses I definitely wanted to have captured and he was great at making sure he got all of them. Very dedicated and outstanding at what he does.
They are national, if you look in the phone book they are basically a referral service. Best photographer on the planet! My friends all say my photos make my wedding album look like it cost a million dollars. Choosing Cahios was the best decision and very much within our very tiny budget!
Great job and great service. Definitely would use them again.

About About The Day
They began working together on several projects and discovered that they worked perfectly together both professionally and personally... and they were married on March 10th, 2001. (See a video clip of our documentary)
For almost 9 years now, this husband and wife team has been collaborating on photography and videography; working weddings all over North America, Mexico, and Europe.
Stephen is a Seattle Art Institute graduate who has majored in both Multimedia and Video Production.
His previous endeavors include 3 years of sound, lighting, and studio engineering with multiple musical and theatrical acts including Bryan Adams, Ronnie Millsap, Destiny, Fugazzi, Pet Shop Boys, and Disney on Ice.
He has done web and video production work for Adobe® , Washington Mutual® , Costco® , and Seattle Photo Works® .
Since meeting Sonia and starting About The Day, Stephen has applied those relevant skills and his "workaholic" mentality in pursuit of photographic artistry, as well as maintaining his video abilities.
Sonia is a trained and certified Adobe® Photoshop® artist and worked for several years with digital image restoration and coloration for a studio in Kamloops, BC. Much of her past work was with senior, business, modeling, and baby portraits, as well as architectural and interior photos. Now she applies those abilities completely to "all things wedding".
Her most current training has been in Apple's Final Cut® and DVD Studio Pro® to supplement her photo and video skills.
In June of 2004, "About The Day" took on it's first employee's as interns and they've been working ever since. Joyce & Janette (know as "The Twins") are both passionate about weddings and have worked hard to refine their skills as videographers and wedding professionals worthy of the "About The Day" name.
