Absolute Best DJ stands up to their name! Jason did an awesome job at our wedding reception. He has state of the art equipment, along with special lighting, dance floor lighting and an excellent website where you can add to your requested playlist. He also took requests and knew when to change a song if the party was dying down or wasn't feeling the song that was playing. During the special dances at the beginning of the reception he used eye contact with me to know when to fade out the song, which was great. He also worked hand in hand with my wedding planner and also made sure I was happy at all times with the volume, mic volume, etc.

We had fun and everyone else did too. Thank you for helping to make our event even more memorable.

Jason at Absolute Best helped make our big day truly amazing. He was willing to meet with my husband and u to answer any questions we had and made us feel completely at ease knowing our music was in his hands. There wasn't a single glitch throughout the entire evening and no awkward pauses between songs or special moments. He judged our guests perfectly by playing different types of music at just the right time. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional but fun dj for their event!

After attending several bridal/wedding shows I had sticker shock for particular wedding vendors...DJ's were a big one. After meeting Jason with Absolute Best DJ I felt so much better. His prices are unbeatable. They are very professional and easy to talk to. Very quick to respond to any emails, website messages and phone calls. His website is awesome and made planning details of the music easy!! I asked to meet with him a week or two before the wedding and he had no problem accommodating me! I felt completely confident in his work which put me at ease as the big day approached! The rehearsal/wedding went perfectly and our day was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better vendor!!

Absolute Best DJ Service is honestly the only service I would ever use. He was amazing for my wedding and did more than what I asked for. The music was awesome and his professionalism was top-notch. I still get complements today on his music selections. He knew what to play when to play it an how to make my big day the best day that I will be able to remember forever!

Friendly, professional DJ

Altogether, our DJ did a pretty good job. For what we paid, we got a big hunk of time, and he kept playing music up until the time our contract specified, even though almost everyone was gone by then. I didn\'t hear some of the songs I requested beforehand, but to be fair, I told him I wouldn\'t really mind or notice if he didn\'t play everything we asked for, so oh, well! At times the music was quite loud for our noon reception, but the DJ was friendly and entertaining and we were pleased overall.

The dance floor was full the entire evening!! Jason chose great songs that kept us all out there moving-from kids to adults! He was very accommodating with song requests and downloading 2 in particular that we wanted but that he didn't have. The only issue (minor one) that I had was that he took a little bit of time to respond to emails.

As most people are well aware of, the "first dance", the "father-daughter dance", and the "mother-son" dance are VERY important to the bride. These songs are carefully picked with the intention of the music being heard. I was extremely disappointed that at our reception, the DJ had the music so low for these dances that only the people by the speakers could hear the songs. I personally (the Bride) made eye contact and motioned to the DJ for him to turn the music up as my father and I were dancing and it did not happen. Also, the DJ “could not get internet reception” where we were (central part of Wrightsville Beach) so for any current songs that were not already in his database, they were unavailable to be played. After the fact, my husband spoke with the owner of the company via email and had he not told us that the DJ he sent out had been doing it for years, no one would have known. A friend of ours at the wedding was a DJ and even agreed. There was neither sympathy nor offer to reimburse a portion of the fees from the owner after explaining the situation which was another disappointment. As we all know, word of mouth is everything. I have already sent people my photographer’s way because of the amazing job that he did. We will not be sending anyone in the direction of this particular DJ.

Used his off of the advice of my planner (whom was AMAZING) but was not that impressed. Maybe its just the kind of person that I am but I loud and full of life and Jason was just not the kind of DJ I had in mind. I wanted someone that would follow our time line and keep peoples energy up and on the dance floor and he just didnt bring that vibe to my wedding... He gave us ideas of games to play at our wedding and then after having meeting and planning which songs should go with what games he didnt even do them at our wedding which was a complete let down!
His lighting effects are WONDERFUL though!
