Matt was a great DJ who did a fantastic job keeping the night on track and the energy high. He adhered closely to our requested songs and do-not-play lists. I would definitely recommend him to anyone getting married in the area.

Our music was very important to us and we had a mixed group of ages and also some latino attendants that wanted to salsa. Matt found every single song I wanted from a 4 page list. He was very patient and also did our ceremony music. He did an excellent job with everything and even came out and danced with us and got the crowd moving. Everything was perfect!

Matt did a superb job and remained extremely flexible with us, as well as providing excellent suggestions for our wedding music and ambiance. I would highly recommend Matt for any future venues that require a DJ. He kept a great pace and added a great atmosphere to our wedding and reception.

Matt with Acme DJ's was great for our wedding! He really got everyone up and excited. He did everything we wanted and had a great low price compared to all the other DJ's in our area! We would highly recommend him to anyone!

Matt was a great DJ. He provided the music at the ceremony as well as the reception. We met with him a few times leading up to the wedding to discuss the types of music we were looking for. Matt was very receptive to our choices and made sure to have the music that was important to us. He also helped us to nail down the timeline for the evening. At the reception he had a wonderful playlist during dinner which everyone enjoyed. As the night continued he livened up the crowd and really got the party started. He also had us play a game which was very fun and got lots of laughs from our guests. If you want to have a memorable reception, hire Acme DJs of Virginia.

What music genres are in your collection?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Describe your DJ style:

Our DJ style is considered to be High Energy with an Outgoing Personality. We like to interact with the crowd and have fun.

Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?

There is no limit of requests to be made. We will play all requests within the time frame of the event.

What is your usual attire?

In most cases, when we perform at a wedding, we will be in a tuxedo. Howerver our attire can change base off the clients request.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

If we can't get a song that is requested, we will tell the client in advance. The client can provide the song of their choosen and we can play it for them at their event.

How many other DJs do you work with?

With our company we only have two DJs. Both of them are Co Owners of Acme DJs of Virginia.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

YES! We prefer to sit down with our clients before we book them. It is important for both parties to get a good vibe from each other before sing a contract. We want our clients to feel that they made the right choice to have us perform for them at their event.

Can the client submit a do-not-play list?

Yes! The clients can provide a do-not-play list. We can provide some suggestions of their choices but the customer has the final say.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes. We have our own equipment and all of our equipment is professional grade. We also bring a back up system for just in case situations.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

In our Grand Wedding Package, we offer a FREE light show and that is included into the price. Call us for more information about our lighting packages.

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

We usually get to an event about an hour an half in advance.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

There is no travel expense to travel to an event.

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

Our deposit to hold a date ranges from $50 to $100 depending on the type of event. Please call for more details.
