Act IV Music was spectacular!!! They were very easy to work with throughout the entire process, and were able to play all types of music. They also read the crowd very well and responded accordingly. We would have them back in a second!!

We had a four piece band play at the wedding. The did a great job getting the crowd up and moving. The band also allowed us to choose two songs that weren't on the playlist for our first dance and father/daughter song. They learned how to play the songs and did a great job. Their leader, Dennis, is a very nice man and easy to work with. THey respond quickly in e-mails/phone calls (which is something that every bride needs!).

Act IV was great! Everyone at the wedding raved about them for months afterwards. They had hte entire group up and dancing to all types of music. They even had props! I would recommend them to anyone.

I had multiple people tell me during and after the reception that it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding reception. I think guests would have danced all night if you had continued playing.

Are you an agency or a band?

Agency

What is the size of your band?

Large (6+ musicians), Medium (4-6 musicians), Small (1-3 musicians)

What music genre does your band play?

Acoustic, Big Band, Blues, Country, Jazz, Latin, Motown, Oldies, Orchestra, R&B, Rock, Swing

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

What is your band's usual attire?

Tuxedos or dark suits. We can accommodate a client's request.

Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?

Yes, brides are invited to attend live performances provided it is okay with our client. There is also live video footage on the home page of our website.

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?

Yes, especially for a couple's first dance.

How much time do you usually need for setup?

Usually and hour to and hour and a half.

How much space do you usually require?

For a 7 or 8 piece band, a 12 x 16 stage works fine. We can work around your space requirements.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

We can bring limited lighting upon request. We have access to rental equipment, if needed.

Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?

Yes, our bandleader is very experienced in serving as emcee, making annoucements, and keeping the party well paced.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

It is customary and appreciated, but not required. We leave it to the discretion of our clients

Do you play recorded music during your break?

Yes, we bring pre-recorded music with us. Or the bride and groom can supply music to be played through out sound system.

What is your overtime rate?

Overtime is usually $75 per musician per hour. It is negotiable depending upon the situation/

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

We do charge additional fees for venues an hour outside of Nashville. It is dependent upon how far away the location is.

The role of the band leader is essential to a smooth running affair.
